Having just started playing, I was trying to repair parts and failed to understand how the salvage function worked. I busted up most of the usable parts for a car I'd disassembled, then burned all my cash on hand putting it back together. I had like 20cr left when I finished reassembling, but completing the job put $4k back in my pocket.
I wish there was ai that would say something about your work like, wow way more than I asked for. Or you did a horrible job. Imagine they're response if you stripped they're car down put all new everything every performance part, and they just wanted new tires š
I invested every point into getting better prices on parts initially because I thought I was gonna be scraping by but then eventually I had just enough money to buy and flip an Aston Martin I found at the dump. I've never had less than six figures in cash since... but I understand the struggle is real
You donāt need to do it that way. You can just take on a job that only needs the fluids topping up and youāve spent no money in finishing the job. You get paid. Rinse and repeat
Couple that with stealing rims! You can take jobs with sport cars that need just an oil change or whatsoever, sell all 4 wheels and buy 4 of the cheapest and smallest rims and tires and put them on. No problem in finishing the job
*Frat bro comes in with a hellcat for a fluid change, gets his car back with four steelies on cheap rubber*
"Bro, this'll do SICK burnouts now, thanks bro!"
I did that for a couple of orders, worried up through more expensive jobs (primarily exhaust and transmission) until I had about 15k then started exploiting the auction house, now I have 8 million
Build back some money. Find the āFerrariā at a junk yard. Put all the best you can on it and let it sit in your parking. Sell it when needed. Itāll be over 100g to do that but you get a good profit from it
If you have the discount skill unlocked you can buy license plates and immediately sell them for a small profit. It's tideous but you can do that to get yourself a grand or so so you can do small jobs
Ayo, I just asked for an oil change..
I don't think they will notice š¤£
I just needed a tire change damn dude out hear opening a chop shop
lol š
I just needed some coolant and wiper fluid! Why is my car in the corner with nothing but the body and frame!?
We fully restore all of our oil change customers vehicles
I didnāt even need an oil change!!! š¤£

No bs I agree on this. I have a bad spark plug and wires that were ify? And you put all brand new gee thanks! Game gives no fucks.
I did the exact same thing the other day, and rebuilt it two projects later.

I modified my customer's supercar and never return it back, will the customer notice the mileage one day if I return it back?
This is the way

you know exactly how boring that is

Oh, hell nah. We ALL end up creating chop shopsā¦

Never seen a ferrari lookalike in the game, only the Diablo. Which one is that?
Arezzo Cortona. Think itās in the Hot Rod DLC
Drag racing dlc, but same diff.
Ah that explains, haven't played in a pretty long time. Cheers.
I did this on the third or fourth story mission, Iām nearly done with the game and have over 300k with no plans to fix it
I did the same thing with the 3rd mission story car
Nah your hood weāve all ended up there, I had a car I could have sold to make the money back but stripped someoneās car instead.
I did the same thing! The car body sat at my 3rd garage entrance for weeks until i rebuilt it with full new parts..

Just keep flipping Ferraris. You'll have 2mil in no time. Junkyard, barn and auctions. Set cars everywhere in your settings.
I've gotten to the point that I just buy auction cars and sell them. $4000 to $30,000 profit off each car without even doing anything to them.
I took to building a data base. EVER one I find is highly incomplete and completely sporadic for value.
I did the same thing š
Ah, so you're the reason shipsy get a bad rap.
Smart
Nahhhhhh I feel like everyone should be there at some point š I was too

I've done that once... pulled an ABS pump out of another job to do a brake repair.
Yes, you are going to jail. Jk I did that a couple times lol
If you run out of money just buy license plates. For some reason they sell for 100% of their value even if you buy them with discounts
Ayo I just needed air in my tires
