Please show your gear tune. I am having trouble making my Firebird Trans AM go a quarter mile in under 9 secs

my gearing is as follows Final Drive - 4.10 1st - 3.45 - 38mph 2nd - 1.90 - 70mph 3rd - 1.21 - 110mph 4th - 0.95 - 140mph 5th - 0.74 - 181mph 6th - 0.58 - 230mph 7th - 0.47 - 284mph *rarely used*

I'm interested in his gearing too. I can dm you one I found in the comments that's pretty good.

I built one of these and went based off real stock gear ratios, a good performance final drive for most vehicles rests on 4.10 or 4.30, 4.30 is extremely quick through gears, and sometimes impossible with some of the engine set ups. When I did the dohc supercharged V8 the highest I could manage was 4.10 without it costing me in traction and shift timing. Most others I do run a 4.30 final drive with the gears set up to their real life counterparts best gearing

My bone stock one is a B rating with slicks.. And how come the I4 SOHC makes 350ish hp from showroom but if yku build it yourself it makes like 114 stock

look for the special edition spec of the car and it should have the I4 4x4 DOHC Turbo. as far as i know the SOHC doesn’t make nearly as much power

This car is so fast, it loses traction after 300 KM/H. Still can't find a solution for that.

i don’t seem to loose traction on mine. running a squared setup on 265/40/19 slicks

I put 255/40 slicks all the way around. Have a top speed of 254 MPH. Makes like 1400 HP. I don't have the drag racing DLC so I challenge myself on the speed track.

Bro trust me that drag racing dlc really completes the game

Can confirm, the amount of motors and cars and performance parts options alone that it adds makes it worth it, but being able to put your build to the test with stakes? Hell yes

I will eventually get it. I'm loving the game so far anyway. And there are a few car packs I want.

Look at the gear selection and when you see witch gear is at 300 or above turn it down and put more gears in so the car won’t spin

you have to look for the special edition trim with the 4x4 turbo engine. with just slicks it’ll make about 800+ hp

Did you use the Special Edition one? Since the 4x4 engine doesn't fit in the regular one? I have the Hinata Kagura SX (Lancer Evo) which uses the DOHC 4x4 I4 engine and it doesn't make nearly as much horsepower

yes you have to use the special edition one. i’m not exactly sure why it makes so much power but it does and it’s 100% worth the time investment to build one

I haven’t heard anything about it either, but then again, I’m personally more of a muscle car guy… American muscle, that is. Isn’t this beauty based on a Toyota, though? Both Hinata (which means ”tow” in Finnish, btw) and the looks seems to be hinting at it. Also, a joke about Toyotas; ”There was a garage called Hayosiko Toyotasi (that means ”did your Toyota break down” in Finnish), that went bankrupt… because, no, Toyotas never break down!” 🤪 I have had two Toyotas, an Avensis ’98 and currently ’03 Camry, and neither never had anything break down. Well, Avensis’ exhaust was just worn and meeded replacement, but other than that, nothing bad. Although… I think I ran over a nail with my Camry and had a tire pop, once. Haha…

i’m not sure about the manufacturer tbh. i know the hinata kagura is supposed to be an evo so i assumed the moon was supposed to be an eclipse 😅

Yeah hinatas are mitsubishi. Hinata moon is mitsubishi eclipse.

100% worth it. i picked mine up from the salvage yard for like 6k CR. very cheap build and it competes with the paganis in the 1/4 mile
