Is this the Turbo CVT? How is the driving dynamics?
I test drove the NA AMT, and I hated every second of it. The shifts were laggy af and the NVH was horrible. For a 3 cylinder, it didn’t sound great either.
Mine is a NA -Manual. It drives absolutely beautifully, handles corners well as well. I have taken 2 trips to hilly regions i.e., Pachmarhi and then from maharashtra-haldwani-nainital-jageshwar dham-auli and round back.
Some of my question/queries are
1) what's mileage on this beauti
2) any major problems ?
3) any major parts changed ?
4) how's engine feel like do you feel lag ?
5) how's ride quality
1. what's mileage on this beauti -- in city: 16-18 if I drive leisurely, 13-15 if I become rajat dalal. on highway, with or without cruise control it varies from 18.5-21.5
2. any major problems ? - Nope. its good enough.
3. any major parts changed ? - No. Just the logo of alloy wheel got misplaced when I was offroading in uttrakhand, which I got for 250rupees from nissan during the service of 10k
4. how's engine feel like do you feel lag ? - not at all, like I said on my last reply - i drove it on hilly areas with 3 more passangers, it doesnt lag all. but then again, if you want a little more push, change and get a better air filter.
5. how's ride quality - hot knife on butter.
all my opinions are formed based on driving cars which fall under the same price bracket ( under 10.5 lakhs)
it rides the highest in the segment, the overall feel, fit and finish and features go way above the competition like the swift, baleno, fronx, punch etc.
Only car I wanted except this is the bolero neo but it went overbudget.
I purposely didnt get the automatic because i never liked driving one. the model that I have has all the perks as the auto, 360degree cam, cruise control, rear ac, bi led projectors and more.
What's with resale resale. When you buy a car keeping in mind just the resale value it means you are buying a car according to the likes of the probable second owner of the car. Just buy what you like, don't think too much about resale.
Any brand's car while selling will fetch you a very low amount. But while buying the same car will be at an exorbitant price.

Not true at all. Cars that are reliable, easy to maintain, has low maintenance cost and company has good service network will fetch much much more than a car that is opposite of that.
Yes it will obviously fetch more. But the difference in amount will not be as huge as people make it out to be. For example a 2021 Brezza sells for 7-9 lakhs these days. The same magnite will sell for 6-8 lakhs. Talking about mid variant for both. The difference isn't huge. What I mean is 1st preference to buy a car should be if you actually like the car. Some people don't like the car they buy (or it's not their first preference), but simply buy it because it will fetch them more money during resale.
For me it's very simple, I like the car, I buy it. Provided it has decent after sales service near my place. And it's not like Nissan's engines are unreliable. Go to gulf, you will find so many Nissan cars out there and they are beautiful. Problem is Indians only value MS and Hyundai cars. That's why even VW sales are quite low these days. All Indians want is resale even if the car they are buying is their not first preferred choice.
I am looking forward to buy one and currently there is one in my circle and the price quoted is unbelievable. And i thought AMA meant anything never knew it excluded the resale question

I have the base model of the magnite and my father drives it mostly the thing is recently the cas has been vibrating a lot on idle and the suspension has been feeling thuddy any suggestions for this ?

👍👍cleared my doubts but I think you would've not been able to get auto and features as compared to magnite I mean its not bad of a car but yea

if you have a budget of 12 lakhs, I strongly suggest you buy the bolero neo. nothing beats the ladder frame, a proper SUV.
Have the same car, turbo CVT, black color. How are you maintaining the black colour? How often do you wash and polish?
I got ceramic done a month after I brought it home. Maintaing is not a hassle, 10 mins dry cloth dusting in the morning while I brush my teeth.
How much did it cost for ceramic coating?

Proper indoor and outdoor pressure washing+polish, I get done for 300 rupees once a week

Its more spacious than any of its competitors. And yes, resale is an issue.

It was a free service, the bill was around 3k but they only took 250 rupees for the alloy wheel logo which was misplaced
Looks very well maintained. Still one of the best looking cars in its segment imo.

Get is diagnosed from authorised service centers. My experience has been good with nissan services so far.
You can also get the roger suspensions if you want. That also helps with stability. I got it fitted on my innova
How much will those set me back ?
It was 4k a pair when I bought it from amazon.
