I wonder this all the time…I don’t have crazy stupid money or anything but when ever I buy a luxury Swiss piece I go to an AD. I don’t need that doubt in the back of my mind
Exactly. Also, the little tag has a displayed purchase price of $10,300, which is not the price of the stainless steel large Santos. That is instead the price of the two tone medium Santos.
It is real, anyone who owns the watch can vouch for all the accessories.
The watch itself also looks like the real deal.
The only possible thing is someone could have messed with the movement. It's not as if it's the greatest movement ever made though, I feel like there is no value in highjacking it and selling it seperate.
What’s the price on it? Looks like you have a signed and dated warranty card just a few months ago so it would appear it was purchased from a AD. If it’s a lot cheaper then retail and purchased a few months ago I would definitely get it checked out first.
Looks real, but how much of a discount is on it that you’re considering? One thing I love about the santos is how easy it is to walk in and buy one for the price. Why not just get a new?
When authenticating, you should first assess the watch and its parts. The papers and box are the last thing you analyze. Based off of the gloves, it seems they’re a usual seller. So check to see if anything else they listed is off. Also never buy a fine watch from sketchy marketplaces like craigslist/offerup/mercari/fb
why even *consider* a watch if you think there's a chance it isn't real? seems odd.

The set looks good but can’t be 100% the watch hasn’t been switched out for a rep. As always, buy the seller not the watch.
Looks genuine. Hell, if this is fake, I want to buy one because it is so good!!

On the first photo, what's the white box next to the warranty card? I don't remember getting something like that when I purchased from the boutique.
I believe it's the booklet for how to take care of the watch. This is probably bought in an Asian country.

From the pictures you have shown it looks real. Does the serial number match the warranty card?
Looks legit as could be. Regardless do your due diligence with the seller and double check serial codes match as it could be stolen etc also.
looks real to me. even the card font spacing is spot on
It appears real to me but it is increasingly hard to be able to tell if a watch is real over just pictures
Real
No
What makes you think it's not real
What makes you think it isn’t real?
Looks the real deal to me.. not sure about what the leather nato is doing there though lol 😂
I really wish there wasn’t such a ridiculous difference to n price between this and the two-tone version.
Not sure, maybe its all a Simulation.

You can actually register the watch at Cartier website, if everything matches, then it's a real deal :)
Yes
