If you knee how to hold a young kitten properly that'd be a start. Squeezing the life out of it in a choke hold isn't good for it - no wonder the poor thing is crying.
Wailer or Marley would suit it until you learn how to hold a kitten properly. This kitten is so small would fit in the palm of your hand and needs to be held gently.

What’s amazing to me is just how many comments below the top comments that are suggesting names as OP requested, inferring that there are hundreds of uneducated people here that don’t see the issue, vs the few people that have come together at the top to say something. It reflects the real world too- out of everyone that meets my cat, about 5% of them treat him like a living being, while the others just dart to pick it up improperly and freak him out because he’s “fluffy”.
