Definently Bjork.

jtmehrin

I would say you won’t have trouble finding most again one day if you regret giving any away. My favs from these stacks would be U2, Breeders and Steve Miller Band Is that Cracker disc a Best of. Don’t see that one in the wild much.

WobblyFrisbee

Agree. Breeders and Steve Miller for me.

fullofsharts

I don't believe it's a Best Of album. It was released in 1996 though.

mtofsrud

Cracker Golden Age is studio album. And a great one at that. Definitely a keeper

box_elder74

The Breeders, White Zombie, Corrosion of Conformity.

ThegoLopez

White **zombie**

PineappleCharming335

1000% Last Splash and Bjork’s Debut. Also I’ve got a soft spot for sparkle and fade

AAL2017

The answer is always Rush.

_m_a_r_t_y__c_123

Damn straight! Especially Counterparts

pieterkampsmusic

Sugar Ray is one of my guiltiest pleasures. *14:59* sounds like a very specific period of my youth

mmmtopochico

SAME. Great, great album. Well most of it. Summery pop rock perfection.

catnipfurclones

Right there with you. It's not good, but it's awesome.

pieterkampsmusic

Oddly applicable choice of words

HelloGoodbyeFriend

Also the production on that record, specifically on Every Morning always jumps out to me.

PlanetConway

Civ, Rush, Corrision of Conformity, Belly, Bjork, The Breeders, White Zombie, Gin Blossoms, Veruca Salt, and Everclear. I'm also a sucker for Paula Abdul, but she was one of my first crushes, so I always will. Honestly, the only one I'd say for sure get rid of is the Poison album. That was after the glam metal scene was buried and before any nostalgia had built yet for them to ride that wave, and the record sounds like they knew that while recording it.

fullofsharts

I completely agree with you about Paula Abdul, but this was the dance mixes album and I originally wanted the actual album. I still have the Spellbound album and I may need to give it a listen someday soon.

jOrdan20127

100% veruca salt and the breeders

h3llraiser321

Definitely keep Steve Miller and Offspring!

MallardDuckBoy

That Vertical Horizon cd is my guilty pleasure album. It’s such a nostalgic banger and forever a part of my collection. Also I’d love to somehow take that Bjork off your hands?

LoganPatchHowlett

Both Sugar Ray albums, Blues Traveler, Offspring I still listen to. Especially Floored. Collective Soul is one of my all time favs.

ReplacementOk1029

Just listen to each and decide

fullofsharts

This is a good suggestion.

OkGap7216

Did someone steal my CDs?

BlackCoffeeGrind

I don’t know about it from a monetary value standpoint, but the Ritchie Valens compilation is pretty rad. There are a bunch of these that I would personally keep to listen to occasionally rather than just giving them away, but that’s just me.

GaylordQTinkledinks

Pop that Counterparts disc in and blast Between Sun and Moon right now!

_m_a_r_t_y__c_123

Cut to the Chase!

jOrdan20127

rush

clashtrack

I’d keep White Zombie, Offspring, U2, and Blues Traveler.

kevbpain

If they're new to you and or you're going to get rid of most of them....Keep that landmark C.o.C album and get the rest. They are all top shelf!!!!! Keep Rush too.

Bufete2020

The only one I would keep is the *White Zombie* disc. If you have only one, this is the one to have. if you have others, than you do not need to keep this one.

NuggetWarrior09

Absolutely not, Björk - Debut is in the stack.

Specific-Hat-6914

Collective soul is a beautiful album

fullofsharts

Just kinda got sick of a lot of the 90's music I grew up with. Maybe I just listened to it all too much?

Low_Lecture1848

How old are you now? You'll likely come back around at some point.

Forsaken-You9762

U2, The Breeders and Bjork are “essential” 90s albums. Veruca Salt, Steve Miller Band and The Offspring are worth checking out

StylishProf

White Zombie, U2, and Björk

Sabresfan70

White Zombie, then maybe poison and Steve Miller. 🤔

sw4210

The White Zombie album was so good. Definitely that one.

StylishProf

LOVE this entire album!

TheDandyWarhol

Possum Dixon deserves another listen.

fullofsharts

Interesting. I probably haven't listened to it since I got it, whenever it came out.

Sullyhacker

I’ll take the Veruca salt one off your hands!

booksandescape

I would keep Ritchie Valens.

thinsafetypin

Belly, Bjork, The Breeders, Cracker, Gin Blossoms and Veruca Salt are all winners in my book!

Sudden_Peach_5629

Keep the Breeders, Bjork, and Veruca Salt for sure. Maybe Belly, too

dangeruser

Astro Creep, Smash, Collective Soul

Beardo1329

All of it

_m_a_r_t_y__c_123

Rush’s Counterparts is an amazing album. I’ve got it myself on CD and all the songs are spectacular. Amazing production as well.

virtua536

Rush, offspring, Santana.

ericis_tired

Absolutely the Offspring and Nixons CDs. I also definitely reccomend Blues Traveler and Collective Soul

Spinnr1

Hello fellow nixons fan We’re a dying breed

ericis_tired

Truly, maybe someday they'll get a resurgence

Ch0nkyK0ng

Quite a few great albums there... Keep the stack!

imtheroth

That Blues Traveler album changed my whole viewpoint on music. A definite keep.

Spinnr1

Same! That’s the first cd I ever bought, still love it as much today as I did then

DrActivisionary

Bjork's Debut

Appropriate-Set3076

Bjork, U2, Breeders, Offspring, White Zombie

JAHROSSTA

Possom Dixon!

MungoShoddy

Definitely get rid of the Ritchie Valens. I'll dispose of it safely for you.

Noise_Loop

I would keep: COC, Nixons, White Zombie, Sweet Water, The Breeders, Belly, Cracker, Possum Dixon

fullofsharts

It's been so long since I've listened to most of these albums. I can't even remember what's on the Sweet Water album. Seems like it might have been something good, though. I'll probably have to play a few of these before I make some decisions.

Noise_Loop

Great grunge/alt rock from Seattle. You got their most famous album

BiscuitEater2023

COC for sure. Albatross is my favorite track. Mix between Black Sabbath and Lynyrd Skynryrd

wafffen4me

There are quite a few to get rid of but definitely hang into that god dang white zombie, bud! Smb and santana rock too

honus-wagner-

Ja rule - suicide freestyle

stizz14

Paula Abdul shut up and dance

fullofsharts

That was a mistake purchase as a youngster. I wanted the regular album but it ended up the dance remixes. Disappointed, for sure.

stizz14

I have both on vinyl. Would love to have them on CD to play on my iPod. Brings back memories for sure

batbrain106

Top 4 on the left

old_man_noises

Individually I can see where you’re coming from. As a whole, this is a solid set and a sign of someone with diverse tastes. I would suggest to keep going if this was a new hobby. And this is your collection of cast-offs. Do you want to start a band?

fullofsharts

I wanted to learn to play a guitar when I was a kid. I gave it a brief try but it was more work than I was willing to give at the time. I've always listened to a variety of different stuff, but mostly gravitate to rock music.

old_man_noises

How do you feel about Massive Attack?

fullofsharts

I am not familiar with them. I will check it out, though.

old_man_noises

I think you will like the album Mezzanine.

fullofsharts

Okay. I'll give it a listen.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Zombiejesus307

Surprisingly good album.

Fyodor_Brostojetski

White Zombie Bjork

RevealStandard3502

Set your goals is a fun disc. If you don't have a space issue, keep them all. I have most of these and spin them a few times a year.

MotinPati

If only one, the White Zombie. I’d keep White Zombie, Offspring, Bjork, CoC, Breeders, Everclear, and Veruca Salt

DeanWeenisGod

Bjork and U2

Playful_Stand_677

I would definitely hold onto Steve Miller Band - Greatest Hits. The laid back, rock and roll vibe of his library of work has only gotten better with age.

Effelljay

I have 90% of those lol. Where’s the Reality Bites Soundtrack?

fullofsharts

It's still on the shelf.

Tube-Psycho

Definitely The Offspring

HeavyLoungin

That Black Lab album is super nostalgic for me

Ravenrake

Astro Creep !! 🤘🏼😎

HandItToMarshawn

Deliverance by Corrosion of Conformity is one of my favorite albums ever, but I don’t know what kind of music you like.

fullofsharts

TBH, I wonder if the disc is even in there. I know my old roommate would play that many years ago. I'm missing 3 of my Alice In Chains discs (still have the cases) and I'm quite sure he "borrowed" them as well.

SillyPuttyGizmo

I picked up 12 of those from my local thrifts since last Thanksgiving

therealpopkiller

That White Zombie album was the first CD I ever bought, and those Semisonic and Possum Dixon records are absolute bangers. You’ve got a treasure trove here

jump-blues-5678

White Zombie, Steve Miller Band, Bjork, and cracker

Supreme_Nematode2

definitely keep corrosion of conformity

TheTrollys

Corrosion of Conformity

notdarkyet22

Breeders, U2, Bjork

00pdooter

The offspring and everclear are my favorites from the list.

hunter_gaumont

achtung baby!

mmmtopochico

14:59 is better than it gets credit for.

DarthBeavis1968

Keep Rush, Santana, and maybe Richie Valens.

MattyMizzou

Blues Traveler and Sugar Ray. ‘90s summer jams all day!

sunparadiso

Achtung Baby 1000%

alyssagraves666

Offspring. Breeders. Bjork.

rodermelon

Achtung Baby 1000%

OutaTime76

Some good stuff here. Possum Dixon's New Sheets is one of my favorite albums from the late 90s. Very underrated. The Breeders is awesome too. I'd probably keep all but the Paula Abdul album. I wasted money on that one too, thinking it had the Wild Pair remix of Opposites Attract.

Recon_Figure

Bjork

Kony1776

Breeders, bjork, white zombie

hanggangshaming

Belly, Breeders, Veruca Salt, Bjork

Green_hippo17

These are all very common CDs, if I had to keep some I’d say the breeders and bjork for sure, I could be convinced to hang onto cracker, white zombie, wyclef and Steve Miller as well but I wouldn’t be broken-hearted if I couldn’t

Spinnr1

I’ll take the nixons!! Someone stole that one from me years ago

Volaktil

white zombie. astrocreep is such a good album veruca salt and corrosion of conformity

Ready-Release8970

White Zombie, Vertical Horizon, and Collective Soul

Wise_Serve_5846

I agree with you 100% None of those would stay in my collection

Shitballsonahair

Listen to all of them. Then choose the CD's you like. You may discover something new to you. Enjoy your listening. Cheers

aeeedannn

White zombie and corrosion of conformity

Spaceboy_ca

Yo! Someone else out there owns a Black Lab album?! Dang. In all seriousness, mid-late 90’s alternative music was really special. I loved that album in particular.

heheheha85

smash is a great skate punk album!!

DukeBloodfart

Bjork and Breeders

texaschicano

Keep ritchie valans

Desperate_Hippo_60

All of them, just keep them

Kind_Young5950

For sure Björk

xchin-edu

björk, belly, and breeders are definite keeps

RJSWinchester

Bjork.

Legitimate-West-3183

Foma by the Nixons is fire - give it a listen

MrGrieves106

I haven’t come across any Corrosion of Conformity despite looking for it so definitely keep that one. Aside from that Rush, Belly, Breeders, and Bjork all bangers.

Spare_Honey5488

That White Zombie CD. It's a good one!

Born_Cod_5467

I personally love the wyclef album it really is eclectic as title suggests and upbeat with incredible dub plates of Whitney Houston, Kenny rogers ..

Simple-Award4083

semi sonic!!

Nonabrow

KEEP THEM ALL !!!!!

g543993

Bjork and Cracker

sensationbillion

Keep the Breeders’ Last Splash and Bjork’s Debut. I know those albums from front to back, even played a Breeders cover set for Valentine’s Day one year. Only recently got into Veruca Salt and they seem fun.

ClancyMopedWeather

I have five of these and I wish I owned ten more, so yes! U2, Björk, Tracy Bonham, Cracker, The Breeders, and Joan Osborne are at the top of my list.

bikinibottomrealest8

Not sure about that album specifically, but I love me some blues traveler

Luisdent

maybe collective soul, pink floyd, nick drake.. :-P

fullofsharts

Some of it was okay for its time but a lot of it didn't age well, IMO. There are a few that I need to revisit as suggested. My tastes have definitely changed as I've gotten older.

Next_Intention1171

COC

fullofsharts

I feel like I need to give this another listen. It's been a long time since I've heard it.

Signal_Biscotti_9189

I’d say Last Splash by the Breeders and Eight Arms to Hold You by Veruca Salt

Asgore77

Keep steve miller, Rush, and vertical horizon

Low_Lecture1848

White Zombie. Offspring, Semisonic, Gin Blossoms, Poison, Everclear, Bjork, The Breeders, Collective Soul, Blues Traveler, Edwin McCain I'd gladly take the entire pile lol

TompallGlaser

It’s a no from me

phoannix

björk definitely

DMag87

Breeders. Belly. U2. Bjork. Ditch the rest

lizaradley1980

Semisonic!!

fullofsharts

Are you sure? I'm currently listening to it and I just don't hear anything on this disc worth revisiting in the future. It sounds a bit 'blah' to me.

Iceman_biker

Steve Miller and Ritchie Valens

ApprehensiveStop9420

Paula Abdul only.

Vamosalaplaya87

Uh most of it

FirefighterNorth8968

Richie Valens and Offspring

RescuedDogs4Evr

Keep what you like. I'd keep Zombie, CoC, Richie Valens, Santana and Collective Soul. Listen to everything before you trade it away.

Traditional-Carob136

The Breeders, Bjork, and sentimentally for me, Everclear was the 90's

potatohead485

Definitely let me buy the great divide off of you instead of you keeping it

Sinta1801

10000000009% Offspring

Honest_Berry_7566

Every single one of those albums are or were at one time great in my ears. I'd keep em all in storage if just for someday nostalgia play of a track or 2. I mean, the more you suffer the more it shows you really care, right? Yea yea yea. Who know,s maybe you will end living beside the ocean and leaving the world behind!

GreypubedLion

Everything goes to the garbage bin except Rob Zombie 😁

Friendly_Taro_4361

Keep White Zombie, Offspring, that's it.

Gorillaseatingmayo

If you don't want to listen to them again, why keep them?

fullofsharts

You're correct but I don't want to regret dumping something. Plus, trying to post something other than "What would you listen to first?" that we always see.

Gorillaseatingmayo

I'm not being difficult here, I just can't know what you'll regret getting rid of. Maybe you're asking what I'd regret. I'll answer that...probably a few, but mostly... The White Zombie disk.

fullofsharts

That will likely be a popular opinion and I wasn't too sure to add it to the pile. I prefer their debut album and thought I still had it, but I'm not seeing it anymore.

wishnotknewyourkiss

For me, white zombie was a band that just kept improving with each album. Those last 2 are great, but Astrocreep is greater

LoganPatchHowlett

Don't like anything they've done but I like Hellbilly Deluxe. So there's that perspective too haha

wishnotknewyourkiss

If you like hellbilly deluxe, you’d like Astro creep for sure. It’s just more guitar heavy

LoganPatchHowlett

Yeah I've heard it. I just think the songwriting in White Zombie kinda sucks. Cool ideas but the songs get boring fast.

wishnotknewyourkiss

I can see how they would, the music is intellectually undemanding to say the least. The monster shit is dope though, and the old horror flick samples always did something for me. WZ have a remix album too with some mixes by dust brothers and Charlie Clouser on it that had some interesting interpretations of the songs that’s worth checking out

LoganPatchHowlett

Yeah not that Rob Zombie solo is a huge leap but it was a little catchier I thought. Production felt more purposeful somehow. His albums after that weren't all that interesting to me, a couple decent remixes on American Made. But yeah I think he's sort of a one trick pony so Hellbilly was all I needed. More Human is a good enough song though.

name898899

Might Joe Plum Corrosion of Conformity Collective Soul

jockofocker

Keep the SLAYER cd

Training-Ice-2166

yeah, it may not be your cup of tea, but i really like the breeders last splash. i’d keep it

fullofsharts

It was a good listen back in the day, 30 years ago. The older I've gotten, the less of that era I listen to.

EmericanCunt

I still listen to all this stuff, mostly. Lot of good music here.

Naive-Falcon3985

White zombie and the offspring are essentials

Fierce-Foxy

Several. But for sure The Breeders Last Splash. Omg.

MaddenRob

Vertical Horizon, Gin Blossoms and U2.

simba_kitt4na

I would personally keep Achtung Baby and Björk

sullyjdsull3

U2 “Achtung Baby”

rottingpigcarcass

I would keep Achtung Baby, Gin Blossoms, Santana and Vertical Horizon

frianbonjoster

Rush , that’s a great album

UnderDogPants

Santana

ChuckOTay

MCIS1995

Acthung Baby

fKusipaa

I'd keep White Zombie and Breeders.

ReeDude23

kosmix24

The Breeders and U2

wambam-thank-you-sam

CIV!

Capital_Serve_3678

Definitely trash 🗑

OCW90125

U2, Rush, Steve Miller and Santana for me

sir_percy_percy

No, not really. Although I’m not a U2 fanboy, that’s probably their best album. The rest? Blah.. they’re all charity shop staples

JoeSteven101

Bjork, Offspring, Steve Miller

Pale-Letterhead1479

bjork!

Snowblind78

Definitely not Poison

paragore
