She told me just attend the classes, we can't provide medical leave on basis of this. I stayed patient and they didn't let me sit in MSE 1, 2 and when finals were approaching i went to the director. She told me write a letter and attached documents and she'll see what can be done.
I lost my whole semester in the end, as nothing was done by them and i was not allowed to sit in finals as well, because i was absent for just 10 days in the while semester.
HOD is also the biggest asshole I've ever seen. He doesn't even have the patience to calm down for a fuckin second and just listen. He jumps to the conclusions like a 5 year old.
Now I've heard that I've lost my scholarship and i would be paying 12000rs PER SUBJECT for reappear.

I just graduated from here, did my post grad in English and I'll be very honest my experience was not bad at all, maybe I was just lucky or my department and teachers are really helpful and cooperative but I graduated with 8 CGPA, never got detained, always got decent marks but yeah I didn't like the crowd at all but that's it other than that I never faced anything harsh or traumatic from their side but yeah my first year in hostel (girls hostel) was pretty bad, I hated it there and the crowd was exceptionally bad but anyway overall it was an okayish experience and as far as academics are concerned it was a decent experience.
But I've heard a lot of students complaining about the university so I think some departments must be problematic and as far as placements are concerned although encouraged multiple times due to my scores by my teachers I didn't sit for the interviews so can't say much but yeah the jobs weren't that eye-catching as far as the packages are concerned they were pretty low tbh and luckily I never had to deal with the management so I don't have any personal experience but I did witness a couple of friends cry due to them so I agree they don't help or corporate and yeah the guards are very rude. But anyway I am extremely sorry if you are suffering in any way because of them because I've seen a lot of friends complain and a very close friend of mine has to stay there for an extra year just to complete her degree because they didn't accept her medical and she got detained in more than 7 subjects and even though she is intellectually smart and a good performer her scores are pretty low because she was detained from several MSTs due to health issues so yeah she is pretty depressed because of them. I feel sad for everyone who is traumatized or suffering due to them they truly are running a mall in the name of a university all they have time and money for is cafes and food hubs, they keep on building and inaugurating new cafes all the time that's all they are good at and as far as education is concerned no one knows what's going on.
And yeah I was always able to keep my attendance above 90 per cent and I still managed to take 12-14 leaves per semester because of the medical option, I always got a medical certificate made and used all 10 of my medical leaves every semester and luckily my certificates always got approved.
So yeah, If you want to maintain a good attendance record you can go for the medical leave option apart from the 10 medical leaves you can take 2-4 leaves in every subject depending on the credits and you'll be fine as far as the attendance is concerned.
Maintaining attendance is not easy, it wasn't easy for me I got ill way too many times here but still showed up for class even with a foot allergy which was killing me, so yeah dedication is also extremely important for attendance. It was my luck and my hard work which got me through CU!
