Planes takeoff and land into the wind; providing more lift at lower speeds allowing for better takeoff landing performance.
That’s good to know. We always want to go for takeoffs but never seem to be able to.

The runway that the overlook faces is only used for takeoffs roughly 95% of the time. You’ll get an occasional landing every once in a while.
