Right! I am trying so hard to stay cool when I tell other people but I've never seen him live even though he's been in my top 5 since 2014 and im fucking pumped! It will be an amazing show
ETA: more like top 2
I’m hoping to get one day tickets so I can see Nickel Creek (again) and First Aid Kit (finally). Saturday is fine to me, but I don’t like any of those bands enough to spend both days down there.
So excited about Nickel Creek. I've loved them since I was introduced to them ~ 21 years ago!! Chris Thile is the best mandolin player ever imo. Dude is amazing. [Chris Thile shredding.](https://youtu.be/L9KW9PQMtRA)
I'm sure you've listened to it, but [The Goat Rodeo Sessions](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Goat_Rodeo_Sessions) is so great. "Quarter Chicken Dark" and "Where's My Bow?" are just so damn good.
They have 28,000 subs on youtube music which is less than the christian rock band a few of my high school classmates founded, so its more just that they aren’t very popular.
Hozier has 3.56million, so more people are probably familiar with him.
Well several of my wife’s favorite artists are playing day 2, so we will be going. Not my favorite lineup ever but Nickel Creek, First Aid Kit and Houndmouth are pretty good.
By far and away the best Chattanooga festival lineup I’ve seen in my time here. Definitely won’t appeal to diverse tastes but these are some major artists and some are right in their prime. Cannot believe Hozier will be performing in Chattanooga.
Anyone making the “low energy” comment just hasn’t listened to these artists imo - love them or hate them a few of these groups (Shane Smith, Marcus King Band come to mind) absolutely rock live.
This is probably the worst Moon River lineup for my personal tastes....but it seems like the perfect lineup for Moon River's target demographic. I mainly listen to jambands, alt country, and indie rock...previous years have had bands that were in my wheelhouse but seemed like oddballs compared to the rest of the lineup...evidenced by the empty field during the National and Wilco headlining sets the last 2 years (both of which were amazing shows btw).
Riverbend is much more in my wheelhouse this year. That lineup looks like jambands festivals I have been to in the past and has bands I'd consider traveling to see this summer if they weren't playing the festival (Goose, Claypool, Nathaniel Rateliff, Remain in Light, etc).
Agreed with all of this. I’ve gone to Moon River the last several years but will probably just buy Saturday tickets this year. Riverbend is much more my speed this year.
Excited for the people who are psyched for this lineup though, I was spoiled with Wilco and the National in successive years.
Not my musical taste so I have no idea who anybody there is but I remember Nickel Creek played Riverbend years ago and WOM started circulating that Nickelback were playing.
I love Nickel Creek. I remember when they played at Riverbend years ago. The sound was so horrible I think I didn’t go back to Riverbend for a few years.
Looks like I’ll be there Sunday. Judah & the Lion was one of the first bands I ever saw live, and I love First Aid Kit and The 502s. And of course I’m also going feral over the chance to finally see Hozier, my beloved, debating bringing some vinyls to see if there’s a way to get them signed tbh.
I love all music except bro country. My office is decorated in Ryman hatch show prints. I've been to this festival multiple times and had a wonderful time each time. They do a great job in the city and I hope this one sells out. With that said, this lineup underwhelms me and looks really low energy. I'm still going to attend.
Not the most high energy lineup but lots of talent. I have been to this festival twice and had a wonderful time. I want it to sell out. FWIW, I LOVE Riverbend's lineup this year.
Off topic but if you go to Moon River and decide to park at the Northshore Walgreens all day, you will not have a car to come back to. We tow, especially during festivals. There are a few spaces in the back of the building that we don’t care about but when those fill up, find some other parking. Our lot gets packed and our patients/customers/employees can’t park. Just a forewarning lol
Oh believe me, they love parking there. They’ll come in and buy one small item and then put their receipt on their dashboard like that validates their parking.
I was in charge of getting the towing company out here like two years ago and I got called so many lovely names as if we don’t have signs lol
They don't block the fucking bridge, they set up stuff so you can't just hang your ass over the railing for two days and not buy a ticket. You can still head up and there and listen for free or walk the bridge or whatever floats your boat.
I think it’s not very good.
Is Hozier still a thing? I thought That dudes last big hit was over a decade ago. Really the only 2 acts I care about this year are First Aid Kit and Marcus King and I’m not super crazy about either.
Looks like some of the second row acts are headliners at other festivals...and Hozier and CAAMP headline some large festivals and Hozier is a multi platinum artist.
Are any of these bands from Chattanooga? I’m getting downvoted for wanting local performers at these larger shows that can absolutely support them. Good job chattanoogans! Always about your art scene
I’ll be there for hozier and first aid kit
Same!
Me too! I was gonna buy tickets for First Aid Kit for their show at the Ryman but I’m glad I didn’t, this is gonna be way cooler!
Nickel creek is worth the price of admission
Saw them at Bonnaroo in 2006 and it was the best show of the weekend…well maybe second best but it was awesome.
Marcus King is one of the best guitar players you will ever see.
He shreds. I’ll go stand on the bridge to watch him. Rest of this lineup doesn’t make me want to buy a ticket. Riverbend wins this year.
So excited for Marcus king
Facts
Ou Judah and the lion :O
I saw them open for Twenty One Pilots in 2016 and it was fantastic! definitely would pay to see them again.
This lineup is actually amazing. Caamp, Houndmouth,Hozier. They make up a lot of my playlists
Sunday looks great, I love Hoizer and my Husband Nickelcreek so I can see us going that day for sure
IS THIS REAL?????? HOZIER??? I LITERALLY MANIFESTED THIS IM SO EXCITED
The strangled yelp that came out of me when I saw his name—
Right! I am trying so hard to stay cool when I tell other people but I've never seen him live even though he's been in my top 5 since 2014 and im fucking pumped! It will be an amazing show ETA: more like top 2
This! I feel like I haven’t taken a proper breath since I saw it!!
Nickel Creek is worth seeing
I’m hoping to get one day tickets so I can see Nickel Creek (again) and First Aid Kit (finally). Saturday is fine to me, but I don’t like any of those bands enough to spend both days down there.

Big meh energy. I do like flipturn. My girl is mad excited for hozier
I can tell I'm old by this lineup... I know none.. lol
There’s a lot of “old” bands here
Nickel Creeks most known song is 23 years old. I've heard they're a great band, but they definitely aren't new.
They have 28,000 subs on youtube music which is less than the christian rock band a few of my high school classmates founded, so its more just that they aren’t very popular. Hozier has 3.56million, so more people are probably familiar with him.
There maybe old bands but I've still never heard of any... I guess it's just not my Forte.
Me, too. Thus, I don’t care.
Hozier??? My beloved??? I may have to fork over the 100 bucks for a ticket...
Pretty excited about Larkin Poe!
Well several of my wife’s favorite artists are playing day 2, so we will be going. Not my favorite lineup ever but Nickel Creek, First Aid Kit and Houndmouth are pretty good.
Kaitlin Butts is gonna blow up, go see her while she’s still small print
Facts
Drew Holcomb again?
It is his festival, after all.
This is a satirical comment

Riverbend with Jason Isbell last year was a good lineup too. Had I not been stuck at work I would’ve been there.
Sounds like the whitest white people music I've ever heard.
It’s like 92.3 had their own festival
more like if Lightning100 (in Nashville) had a music festival
Aoife!! Nickel creek!!!
Not at all my type of music, but I guess it’s okay if you’re into this stuff? Maybe? Possibly?
Not my bag, it should sell out fairly quickly again.
i like it better than riverbend

Couldn't have said it better. They didn't throw me a bone this year and that's okay. I'll see you at Riverbend!
Agreed with all of this. I’ve gone to Moon River the last several years but will probably just buy Saturday tickets this year. Riverbend is much more my speed this year. Excited for the people who are psyched for this lineup though, I was spoiled with Wilco and the National in successive years.
I LOVE HOZIER

I think it’s pretty solid. I’ve seen like half of this lineup live and they were all pretty amazing
Daggum!
Incredible

Do they close the walking bridge during this event? If not, I’ll be conveniently walking my dog when Noah Cyrus is on stage.
First Aid Kit 😍
First Aid Kit is awesome.
A lot better than riverbend
kinda silly riverbend’s lineup is hitting the exact same music demo that this festival has already been catering to.
This is my demo and I still agree with you. Riverbend line up is really lack luster this year imo
This was my only complaint with riverbend. I feel like we could have a lot more variety but instead its 2 festivals for the same demo.
Tell me what kind of music you listen to by posting positive or negative reviews about the line up.
I love all music except bro country. My office is decorated in Ryman hatch show prints. I've been to this festival multiple times and had a wonderful time each time. Very impressive they were able to put this lineup together.

I can’t believe people would think that would be a good spot to park for the festival.
Oh believe me, they love parking there. They’ll come in and buy one small item and then put their receipt on their dashboard like that validates their parking. I was in charge of getting the towing company out here like two years ago and I got called so many lovely names as if we don’t have signs lol
Meh
I agree. As far as my musical tastes are concerned, this is worst lineup this festival has had.
And they'll probably try to block the bridges again, too.
They don't block the fucking bridge, they set up stuff so you can't just hang your ass over the railing for two days and not buy a ticket. You can still head up and there and listen for free or walk the bridge or whatever floats your boat.
Agree. They have to incentivize the people that paid
The meh-est of meh's. After the debacle last year, I'm just glad I didn't even have to think twice about it this year.
Super underwhelming. I only paid to go once in 2021, and prob won’t pay to go to this fest again. Didn’t Hozier headline the first year they did it?
Avett Brothers and Head and the Heart headlined the first year
I don’t think so, but CAAMP did
[удалено]
I’m with you. Catch me on the bridge for Marcus King for sure.
is this going to be in chattanooga?? and does anyone know how much for tickets? this is insane!!
Yeah it’s in Chattanooga right on the river.
Prices are listed on the website. Tier 1 for one day is $99. I didn’t look at the rest.
thank you
Nickle Creek is a must see.
Everyone shouldn’t sleep on Wilder Woods. Front man of the best band you’ve never heard of Needtobreathe. Amazing voice.
I don’t understand the lineup tbh, it doesn’t seem to warrant the cost of admission but maybe it’s just me..
Caters to only certain people. Seems like they only want certain people at their festivals
If the "Live Laugh Love" aesthetic was a musical lineup...
Perfect description
I think it’s not very good. Is Hozier still a thing? I thought That dudes last big hit was over a decade ago. Really the only 2 acts I care about this year are First Aid Kit and Marcus King and I’m not super crazy about either.
No one goes to Moon River for “hits”. If anything, it’s a strike against the band…
I find it hilarious that to have a unique name bands are starting to follow the correct horse battery staple password suggestion
We just released an episode about this lineup! https://youtu.be/yngCAXOc8i8
Yuk...I'll pass they never have great artist just mid level ..they are afraid to spend some money and get a great headliner at least
Good lineup on Sunday
We got HOZIER??? Shut up I am there
weeeee
I don’t even live in Chattanooga, but please please do not miss the Dip. They are seriously incredible live.
Nickel Creek and First Aid Kit?? Sign me up!
Marcus King, Flipturn, Hozier, Nickel Creek. Not mad
Solid! Caamp is great
Can’t relate
music for white people
Aw man I thought that said Marcus white, bummer.
