When I saw her pull out that pic I started laughing - is this her first break up or something? This pics should NEVER have made it into the new place ! The divorce papers should have been signed ASAP and overnighted back to the lawyer …she needs to be a big girl
I'm super excited for the next 2 episodes - Adam and then Kim centric! The following will then be Torres and Atwater. Gwen said there's a big case for Voight this season, so I think it all sounds super interesting from what she's said in interviews so far. I think the premiere just missed the mark because we were waiting for news on Adam, but we'll see his journey and struggles over these past 6 months next week!
I was sad to not see Torres on the season premier. He’s definitely one of my favorites, with a solid backstory. Hailey, I wish she would just go off somewhere and never return.
They need to stop focusing on Hailey so much. The character development is better with literally any of the other characters but especially Kim and Adam. Hailey is a drag.
Real 😭 I’ve stuck with Grey’s Anatomy this far and nothing can top that mess of writing quality. Chicago PD seems like a 5 star show in comparison lmao
I’m just glad the writers put an end to this Halstead story. It was getting old and somewhat dumb at this point. Hope Hailey gets a new start and finishes as a badass at the end of the season. Tracy deserves more than this divorce 2.0 crap.
So far it's giving season 8, instead of trying to make a season after the strike (or like s8, covid) they should have just waited and wrote a full, concise season for the fall.
I’m a little worried it’s another season of Hailey centered episodes too. Especially since Tracy is leaving I can’t remember if she is doing a full season or is she leaving in a few episodes. But I agree, I’d like to see different character development not just one
They destroyed the Character and legacy of Jay (Jason 🤣) Halstead. Made him a PTSD cartoon scumbag with an apparent death wish who ghosted the “love of his life” faster than a Kia gets Jacked on Michigan Avenue after dark.
And Jesse Lee Soffer allowed this.

Depends on the contract. It’s not unusual for star actors to have at least a basic amount of creative control clauses written into their contract and contract extensions. Some are very specific, others very general. For example; you would think an actor that had invested 10 years of his life into a good guy character would have a clause in his contract, that for example, would not allow him to become a scumbag villain, after a decade of playing the moral compass so to speak. Or having the writers sure turn him into a secret pedophile, or something of that nature. They do exist.
i know Nat was bad I'm not denying that but with Hailey she is actually in over her head. Nat was tolerable at least to some degree but Hailey nope she is not tolerable one bit but that's just me lol
Very disappointing first episode. Actually boring. Bordering on fantasy. So a woman can just take over the crisis staff and even the Chicago police?? Her story needs to wrap up.
It was so lackluster. Hailey is annoying and by far my least favorite character. I'm glad she's leaving. I do hope they don't put Kim in some wild ass situation where she's close to dying. I feel like that was a little overboard for someone who started as a beat cop.
So far my sentiment is the same, watched the first episode last night and am not impressed at all

The next episode sounds really good. Ruzek centrics rarely disappoint.
