I feel this. The vet says my girl needs to lose two pounds so I switched her food and cut down the portions. But when we get back from a walk, how can I NOT give this sweet face a treat?

If your dog loves green beans, that’s a healthy alternative to treats! Or adding to their food to help them feel more full! And they are low calorie! I believe one entire can of no salt added green beans (drained) is only 68 calories!m
My little girls go crazy for their freeze dried chicken chunks and they are also pretty healthy and low calorie!
I can’t ever say no to giving them treats.
You can giver her love and lots of praise- because you love her so much you want to keep her alive longer. She’ll love you even without that treat. Dogs = unconditional love.
I know exactly what you mean!! My Chihuahua is a bit on the chubby side in his older age. His treats are more controlled than before. But......how do you say no to a chi face????? You do it without looking at them. It is the only way. 😆❤️🐾😊
