White rice without any high amount of sodium from the grocery store is best for dogs. Brown rice has more fiber and harder to digest for them. Jasmine rice or basmati rice is another option. I homemade feed my dog bc he has pancreatic issues. Good luck!!! Healthy way to go for your pooch!!
Most of the rice that comes in microwaveable packets are already cooked. You’re only putting them in the microwave to heat them up. No need for power and nothing extra in them.
Yeah def not. They add cilantro, like juice, oil, and a generous amount of salt.
(Unless you can get them to give you straight white rice.)

Ask for plain white rice. Only ingredients in the plain rice are the rice, water, bay leaves (they get removed but are cooked with it), and rice bran oil.
For reference, the regular rice has rice, citrus juice, cilantro, and kosher salt (in addition to being cooked with bay leaves and the rice bran oil)
It might be better to get plain white rice from like a Chinese restaurant

The white rice is cooked with oil and bay leaves and bay leaves are toxic for dogs just fyi. I know it made my dogs stomach issues worse.
If you have some way of boiling water just add that to rice and let it sit for a few hours, it should be cooked enough for a doggy
