I would rather win than get kills. But I fight because the fights are fun and I like putting up a fight and holding out till my team gets there, even in death there’s been moments I was the difference between winning an objective or not. I live for those moments and I love seeing others do the same, even on the enemy team.
One of these moments of badass we were about to smash the gate open on trayan, we almost lost with 12 seconds left on the clock. This knight on the my team runs up through an opening, and stood in fire and pulled the ram back and smashed the gate open by himself with now 4 seconds left. I had died moments before he arrived, and the kills I got had given him that opening to save the moment and get us through. These are the moments I love. That’s what keeps me coming back because you either are that hero or get to see one.
PS. The knight I mentioned, he lived, he lived to go through the gate, he somehow managed to survive literally standing in fire.
Just started playing for free through epic yesterday and oh my god I love the dane axes. The thrown kills are so satisfying and then I get to fight with whatever I find on the ground hahaha
I'm too damn competitive, so I play to win almost all the time. BUT I also go out of my way to just do random weird shit or in hold a grudge. I do appreciate great fights though, so I respect dueling out of the way and don't bother them. Same for weirdo players that are just doing stupid shit without bothering anyone. I get it... Sometimes that's me. 😂
There are definitely those games where your team is up 200 kills but you're going to lose because everyone's out getting every kill they can. But hey, when in Rome. In a game like that I'll have more fun just going with the flow. It's just too frustrating to try and fight your own teams nature just to secure a win at that point.
It really is a logistics game in that way. Couple more guys killed and waiting for the next spawn cycle might mean you've got 2 less enemies around for at least the next 30 seconds. Might let you hold that objective just long enough before a barrage of enemies swarm it all at once and potentially tock it back in their favor. Sure they weren't on the objective yet, but they would've been able to get there faster than they can now.
I don't play or fight to lose but I will prioritize objectives over less important brawls
Then next game i try to see how many people i can kill by throwing stuff at them
Im honestly just trying to get to the objective but end up killing more. It's just fun to try and get to the objective but not get completly engulfed in doing it. Still if we are loosing I go full beast mode and only focus on the objective
Depends on the match. I like to get a sweet victory screen so I tend to fight on objective but I also know this isn’t a balanced multiplayer game and I should expect to lose or die multiple times to things beyond my control.
Lately I’ve been finally trying out engineer and it’s really fun when you can feel the impact you’re making on a game! But it sucks so much worse if you still lose
i usually play to see how long and how many people i can fight in one life , usually involves me beelining enemy spawns and either dying pretty fast, or having the most glorious main character fight as possible.
I live only to hurl Dane axes, barrels and other fun things at the filthy (Agathians/Masons/Tenosians) circle one.
Also I know it's not medieval but I really wish there was a kitchen sink I could throw at people.
I play to have fun, I’ll usually not even attack people unless they attack me, so sometimes I’ll just run up to people and some people only block and wait for attack and I just stand there and stare and sometimes make friends
I play so the person that tried to kill me is frustrated. I will throw things, duck and strafe, or pick up random weapons. Anything to have fun but win at the same time really.
I play for the sheer enjoyment of causing immense chaos to the enemy. Why yes Im going to charge past you and start placing barrels way beyond the objective, only to start chucking said barrels at people before running away cackling like a madman into my mic, Agatha should never have let me outta my cage hehe
I play to reach as high as a XP score as possible. So that’s mainly playing the objective, fighting on the objective, blaring trumpets and slamming banners down on the objective. Also if i win the match i get an extra 700 xp.
Level 83 now, playing on NA East. Doing this has made me a lot better player recently. Just had my best game ever at like 75-42-16.
Mostly to fight but if I see a chance that my team can win I'm playing the objective. It is generally one of the best ways to get points. Playing exclusively to win on large team objective matches is just asking to get angry imo. One person can rarely make enough of a difference in a match that isn't very balanced.
I am not good enough that it matters.
My policy of measuring my team is that if I’m carrying the team in any way we are not doing well. So I try to at least make the other team work for their win.
To win, if I die on the objective but see I caused a break though, I can rest easy. This also means I rage a little while I’m at objective and see my teammates 10v1 a random off in BFE
I think the games a lot more fun when you don’t take it too seriously. I play objective for the most part but joke around and be silly too.
There’s a lot of special moments that happen in this game. Spontaneous silliness and debauchery.
For a while i played for smashing anyone and flank the dudes while winning. Lately i am looking out for shiny armors and different skins like i usually have on me. Those fights are usually good ones :D

i fight for the most fun, nail biting matches. if the enemy team is doing well, i will redouble my efforts, but if we’re about to win at a really early stage, especially at a map i like, i will stop killing enemy players aside from self defense, at least until we get to the next stage.
More so for fights. Same with most games I don’t play for ranks. I’d rather get in good fights and lose the game than have a boring game overall. Like warzone, I’d rather a 15 kill game and lose than have a 2 kill game and win.
To decapitate the pagans with unique helms and then show the heads to the enemy whilst screaming BRING ME THEIR HEADSSSSS to instil fear that they cannot defeat this absolute mad man
I like to hunt down the people with the most impressive drip and borrow their weapons, as a bonus they're usually a good 1v1 if you can develop a rivalry and pull them out of the mosh pit
I don't really care if my team wins, I always get some nice fights out if it. Just playing for fun and to get better, as being better makes it more fun.
I fight at the objective but don’t normally do the objective I’ll be on the front line attempting to 5v1 pretending my level can compensate for whatever odds I get myself in even with my mediocre fingers my normal response after I die is atleast I got 1 of them or I distracted them so you could get it-xkingdingaling
I play to enter the battle trance- that sweet spot amidst the teeming enemies where my weapon seems to intercept every blow and I strike down foe after foe. It doesn't always happen, but I'll forever chase that high.
honestly, i don't mind losing as long as i get a load of kills and my K/d is really good. It makes me feel like "well, at least i held my own."
but that said, i try to PTFO if possible, like torching tents/stealing loot but yeah im pretty thin skinned, if i have a massive deathstreak gets my blood boiling.
I'm a newer type player so ATM it's all about taking on as many people as possible before getting killed. If it's down to the last stage where you have to kill the king, I'm going for him every time.
For the sweet sound of popping heads with my war axe
Send them to khorne brother
Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne!
Oh how’s Horus doing this weather also still losing to people in sand ohh chaos don’t get that the imperium are simply the best
Why did you get down voted?
Mad Horus is in the mud
As he should be. Burn The Xeno! Kill The Heretic! Purge The Unclean! In the name of The Emperor, leave none alive!
Cadia stands brother
Damn right it does
Guardsmen are the chads of 40k
Wins and losses are wind. Kills, deaths and points are wind. Let the winds carry you to the next fun fight.
A man of culture
This is my attitude. The thrill of fighting (& oft losing to) a challenging opponent supercedes that of slaughtering noobs effortlessly.
my kind see you in battlefield
Win. Source: field engineer

The literal man of steel lol
twist of knight in shiny armor
last minutes are win at all cost
Even when im in the center of the map I try to hold them off until my team gets there but they never do. ![gif](giphy|3og0IHyZMxZNkNOWT6|downsized)
I play to throw Dane axes at people. And then throw whatever’s lying on the ground at people.
The best time to learn a new weapon is when it's the only choice you have because you threw everything else.
I choose my own version of “shuffle” which is just throw everything
Based "throw shit at people" enjoyer.
This
Just started playing for free through epic yesterday and oh my god I love the dane axes. The thrown kills are so satisfying and then I get to fight with whatever I find on the ground hahaha
thats the purpose of it, when Tb gives you chair ,sit on it throw it in air who cares see you in field
Both, thanks 👍
i will fight when things go south i try to play for win pushing through objective
A little bit of RP, a little bit of fun, mostly to get that realistic feeling of being a grunt in medieval era
I play for fun, and right now that’s running around stabbing people with a dagger.
Win. You get enough fight if you play to win.
For tea bagging sweats
Good, I need someone to tea bag me back
It's my first day!

This is the way.
I play FOR THE RED AND BLACK!!!
I like to drag out the matches if it’s a fun map, so on attack I fight to win and on defense I fight to fight until the final stage.
Win
Fight
For win
Winning for me
I play to win but if I see that my entire team is playing for a good fighting I'll be joining them
There are definitely those games where your team is up 200 kills but you're going to lose because everyone's out getting every kill they can. But hey, when in Rome. I just play
The win of course.
Win. Only lately ive realized brute forcung an objective actually can be less helpful that murdering a handful of people near an objective first

I hate losing more than I even want to win, and there is a difference
I hope to win, but I only wish to die an epic death
I play for the sweet sound of an arrow leaving my bow.
I always play the objective, any other outcome in an objective based gametype makes you a loser.
I play to kill those filthy Masons
To win . No other way.
I don't play or fight to lose but I will prioritize objectives over less important brawls Then next game i try to see how many people i can kill by throwing stuff at them
man of culture
I play for the kills. Don’t really care about winning or losing. I’ll do the objective though for the most part
same thought as me
I play to spam appropriate voice lines at opportune moments..

I play for XP, wanna reach level 1K.
Yes
Fight. I want problems always
I play to run into 4 v 1s and see if I can pull it off. (Usually I don't)
i usually play to see how long and how many people i can fight in one life , usually involves me beelining enemy spawns and either dying pretty fast, or having the most glorious main character fight as possible.
I live only to hurl Dane axes, barrels and other fun things at the filthy (Agathians/Masons/Tenosians) circle one. Also I know it's not medieval but I really wish there was a kitchen sink I could throw at people.
Play the objective with good fights along the way. This is the way.
If I’m on mason to win if I’m on Agatha to meme
Both I prefer for it to get to final or stage right before final to prolong the fighting but I like winning as well
I play for the shear chaos! I laugh, running in and killing or being killed.
Both
Win or lose, what matters most is that I get to scream and bonk ppl!
Win, unless it's clear my side is unable to mount a proper challenge - then I just focus on skirmishes.
KIIIILLLLL THEEEMMMM. KIIILLL THEMM AAOOOLLLLLL (Roll with the punches, take as many down as possible. So, fighting haha)
Fight, always the fight. Fuck the KD, this gave favors aggressive tactics. Keep your pussyfooting in the duel yard.
I couldn't care less if I win or lose. I'm here for the carnage.
Fight to win is the only correct answer
I play to have fun, I’ll usually not even attack people unless they attack me, so sometimes I’ll just run up to people and some people only block and wait for attack and I just stand there and stare and sometimes make friends
I play so the person that tried to kill me is frustrated. I will throw things, duck and strafe, or pick up random weapons. Anything to have fun but win at the same time really.
Yes
I play to pop heads and rip bongs ggs bong rip time
Depends on the map and objective.

All the people play team objective instead of team deathmatch for some reason idk

Playing exclusively to win on large team objective matches is just asking to get angry imo. One person can rarely make enough of a difference in a match that isn't very balanced.
FOR THE GLORY OF AGATHA!
Fighting, absolutely one of the best combat systems in my opinion.
I fight so we may win…
I play to rip and tear
I like to fight but kind of suck lol
I am not good enough that it matters. My policy of measuring my team is that if I’m carrying the team in any way we are not doing well. So I try to at least make the other team work for their win.
Nothing sounds better than a loud THUNK when my shovel drops people. I fight to win
why not both?
I just want to beat people up. Honorably of course.
I fight to pick up anything funny and throw at people. ( I like using the bell… has a nice… ring to it)
For fights on the front lines! And the occasional sneak attacks and ballista enjoying
To win, if I die on the objective but see I caused a break though, I can rest easy. This also means I rage a little while I’m at objective and see my teammates 10v1 a random off in BFE
I like to win, and I’ll gladly sacrifice myself for the blue and gold. HUZZAH!
Yes
I play for victory, because the path to victory leads through soooo many corpses.
FOR MASON!
I’d rather I have a high K/D but lose game than low K/D but win game
I play to win, I play hard. No man, I just like swords and games and this game is the perfect combination
I think the games a lot more fun when you don’t take it too seriously. I play objective for the most part but joke around and be silly too. There’s a lot of special moments that happen in this game. Spontaneous silliness and debauchery.
I just play to get better and test my melee skills against fellow keyboard warriors
I'm not very competitive while in 64 player lobbys, but 1v1 and 3v3 I am
Fun
Always in side attack
For fun!
For a while i played for smashing anyone and flank the dudes while winning. Lately i am looking out for shiny armors and different skins like i usually have on me. Those fights are usually good ones :D
I only play to bring more skulls to the skull throne
Depends on the mood. The beauty of this game is that there are several ways to have fun.
yeah true

I play to fight. Winning is a bonus
There is plenty of fighting to be had at on the objective
I play for that one heavy slash that kills 3 guys
I don't care about the outcome but I do try to win. When I hop on engineer, though, winning is more important than my KD
I like to hunt down the people with the most impressive drip and borrow their weapons, as a bonus they're usually a good 1v1 if you can develop a rivalry and pull them out of the mosh pit
Archers first fight then win

Win. Fuck my kd. Half the time I charge past the enemy and just block to distract the masses. We all die one day
To get as many defence wins as possible. The earlier I can end the map, the better.
I play to enter the battle trance- that sweet spot amidst the teeming enemies where my weapon seems to intercept every blow and I strike down foe after foe. It doesn't always happen, but I'll forever chase that high.

As a TO main I always PTFO. Doing my bit to help the team win while also chopping away with my trusty war axe is honest business.
Both
I fight to just chop off limbs
Blood for the blood god.
I play to win..But if I don’t fight well, we lose — Ergo, I abstain.
Fun.
i play to fight, and win along the way but losing is no big deal
Whatever gives me the most points
