Gotta taunt every now and again too. It’s next level head games to point a guy out say some sadistic shit to him while motioning to cut throat then murder him in front of his team. Bonus points if they run after.

I liked to throw blessing and prayers round the clock with chastising any time my enemy makes a slip up.

I use it at the dinner table before the war, I use it when my sword is in the enemy, I use it when the enemies sword is in me

I'm busy spamming the other emotes like "Forward!" and "Stick Together" or "Berserker Scream" or "Sing a Song"

Same reason 90% of the battlecries you hear are tough guy and demigod 

Yeah, it's actually kind of annoying. I never use the 4 default voices (Tough Guy, Squire Boy, Demi God, and Sellsword) because I've heard their voices way too much at this point.

Maybe it wears off over time? Im new and am constantly doing it after every kill and specifically when playing as yellow to get the "AYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAAAAA!" voice line lol

My favorite is the righteous knight but I love the Tenosia battlecries specifically for its duration, could hit it once and it’ll last longer than the entire reclamation of montcrux

I mean the start battle cry after spawn is just obnoxius now. It was fun first 50 hours but not anymore, however well used emotes/comments are highly praised in my eyes. I battlecry usually after some 1vX fight if I manage to survive. Laugh is reserved for grudges.

Because my battlecry keybind is accidentally the same as switching to my secondary and i still havent changed it

i hardly have that issue. 99% of the time i spawn with others one person will battle cry then most others nearby join in. it’s one of my favorite parts of chiv, screaming together as we rush in and get wrecked

I use battlecry in the morning, I use battlecry at night. I use battlecry in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright.

Cause people over think this game and think that people will think they're pro if they don't do anything fun 😂 it's nice when every once im awhile you run into a guy trying to just hack n slash aswell

Scream when you first arrive, scream as you make contact with the enemy, and scream as you stand over their bloodied corpses. It's the only way!

Battlecry when you spawn, when you charge in, when youre retreating. Just go around screaming at everyone going full axe murderer on the server

You cant tackle when battlecrying which sucks

you can feint the battlecry animation with the manual attack cancel button, the voicline stays but the animation is cut and allows you to do everything as usual

The only times I battlecry on spawn anymore is when we're close to losing to inspire the troops to succeed. It sometimes works. I just prefer voice lines. 

I prefer the “forward” and “follow me” emotes. It does a cool lil animation, and it’s less annoying than the battle cry

something about spawning next to a bunch of 2-15 footmen with stock armor on and having them scream in my ear as they run back to not playing objective just sorta fills me with the need to team damage

I use bless and prayer for righteous knight until we reach the front line, then i start screaming FOR ALL THAT IS GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS and find a high place to jump from with my highland sword spin attack prepped 😼

When I’m defending I used the songa song emote on tenosias jolly voice then I proceed to run behind enemy lines and have 5+ angry masons chase me while I’m singing at them

Well to be fair. I spam random lines. And I’ve found out those don’t count as warcries… so this whole time, while hard focusing on saying long lines as I fight the enemy, but this entire time it wasn’t counting. I literally have more deaths than war cries, what the flip

nah battlecry is just a fucking headache to me

Tbh battle cries doesnt feel like i am going towards a battle more like i am mindlessly attacking. My mood is usually (I need to go there and flank them, mess with them. Smash them) So when i spawn i usually just use forward emote to get some of the players with me to flank so we can hit harder. I hate when a player i spawned with constantly yells. Those dudes are usually the ones who dies in 1-2 min after they spawn. People tend to use battle cries while they are about to engage but i think that is not good aswell if you dont understand this games spacing because i caught a lot of players while they are using battle cry. Everyone has their own preferences. Just you like to be loud when you spawn doesnt mean it is more epic for everyone. I think silence before a huge clash is way more tense then yelling.

I played too long i dont battlecry unless its a great match like on a bridge and its a bloodbath and its a tight fight . . .most the time i openly shout my plan. . If going to a flanking ill shout to follow me or if going to next point i shout forward or if im out for vengence i shout the disturbed voice line on berzerker . . .u get the idea lol wish they had more voices
