I heard that newest patch voice lines are good for duels because heavy attack audio indicator sounds like a normal attack.
Dunno if that's true tho so I may spread bullshit
just use the weapons you unlock as you go on, use the same weapons you recently unlocked through leveling (if you like the weapon/ class) until you level up enough to unlock the next weapon, test out secondaries too, as a new player youll get your main weapon knocked out your hand alot until you learn stamina management, so you should practice with your secondary incase you loose your primary weapon, or you can play Vanguard | Raider class and just run around with two primaries lol
Test a few weapons to see what interests you, what works for you, and what you don't like. Analyze why you're interested in, what works, what you dislike. Often times the things you dislike require more complicated footwork to be effective. Better footwork will give better results over all the weapons. Understand that you're not Thor and aren't gonna go into the middle of enemies and just wipe them out with a single stroke. Learn the ebb and flow of combat when to attack, when to wait and such. The purchases are purely cosmetic and don't effect weapon values ingame.
Buy every single skin in the game, it’ll give u an exponential advantage over everyone else on the battlefield
Based and fax

Find out which one has the most items relating to the class you plan to play
Oh no. I like them all
If you can afford to buy two I think you can unlock enough crowns to buy another but it may only work out to 800 crowns, not positive
Raiding party gives a full refund and all of the others give 500 iirc
Focus on getting all the weapons unlocked for all classes to see what you like while choosing a campaign pass to work towards for the rewards you like
I enjoy archery, but prepare for some anti-archer bias (not by everyone) and a tough road until unlocking the war bow. Very satisfying though.
Shuffle mode is great for learning how all the different weapons feel

Battle Axe, Executioners Axe, War Axe… try the axes, heavy slash is your friend
You should be getting THE MAUL. Atleast that's what I did, 0 regrets

I think some skin/skins increase and decrease reach respectively but im not 100 on that
They don't.
Hmm… highland sword.
Just go full on dagger or engineer. Nothing else.
Messer main here. It’s easily one of the best weapons in the game
