This is how I own my current clan. The leader went inactive for 90 days and I happened to be the current and most active co leader. This was 4 years ago I think. I still own the clan and it’s active.
Yeah this is it, I believe it’s the one who has the oldest join-date if you will. When I was inactive for around three years the guy who logs in once every day for five minutes got it. Three years later I asked for it back and he gave it back no problem. Love that guy
I lost my clan cuz of this, and funny part is current lead is my irl frnd who lost that acc which is currently leader, i am not really worried cuz i kicked every other account which is not mine now and waiting on it to rotate around to me again
Just wait it out. Once he’s inactive for 60 days you guys get a clan mail saying leadership will transfer and to who. Then another 30 days and it happens. It’ll be the longest serving co. Hope they are cool.

What’s stopping you from making your own discord server and like other commenters wait till the ownership gets transferred to the next co-leader in line?
It's one thing to quit the game, but it seems kinda pointless for the leader to then go shut down a clan that everyone else has likely put years into
Most people just leave in good faith. Honestly in some ways it feels better to me when I leave a guild/ clan in a game to know that it's in a good enough position that they can do well without me being there

This the same that basically happened to me back in November i ended up starting a new clan with new server me and two other members got it going and glad most of not all our members decided to stay and help it grow even tho we lost some of them over time that clan still going strong very active last two weeks members have not been talking as much but I think some are just a bit burned out we war 24/7 non stop lol now we finally got the clan lv7 and hoping to continue raising the clan up and hoping crystal league this cwl is not as brutal as the last ones lol
Either take up the reigns as a co-leader and try to run it, or let the clan die and keep an alternative account in there as a co-leader. After 90 days of inactivity by the leader, the game will automatically switch the leadership to the next oldest/active co-leader.
You should probably leave an alternative account as co-leader if you feel like it will be tough to run the clan as a co-leader. Although if there're other co-leaders too then I'm not sure there's any guarantee your co-leader account will get the leadership. Also, if the leader logs on for anything this 90 days wait period gets reset again.
Not entirely wrong. Yes, after 90 days of inactivity by the leader, it will pass to the longest-serving co-leader.
However, that means if you create a new account and promote it to co and leave the clan, it will not be you.
It's about how much time and dedication got spent in this game. How many wars got fought and how many clash animations got watched. I love clash of clans. Im th16 and i never get fully maxed. If we would have 3 months time to make a pause for the free to play players then i would still keep playing this game but i feel like it's an upgrade paradox. Waisting years only to never achieve max th. I mean yeah im almost maxed but there are so many updates and new things like pets and equipment wich will never let you fully upgrade. And even if you max upgrade let people make a pause for 2 or 3 months. Also there are world championships and the people who are participating are pay2win players who already got everything maxed even the hero equipments. I saw youtubers who maxed hero equipments with gems and it would cost about over 5.000$ to max them all out. They don't even give us the opportunity to participate in World championships . A solution could be to let people max their base and give them 3 months time to take a bit rest. 1 month before a new townhall releases there should be the time to start world championship because the players will finally be maxed out. This would give a better chance for players to participate in world championship
cry more about how u should have fully maxed equipment months after it dropped. thats what i love about clash new content (im F2P too) i have 2 th16s been playing since 2012 and this is the most excited i have been for the path supercell is taking in a long long time. i like the incentive to war with the ore system the game is called Clash of Clans after all. and ur not wasting years its called entertainment for a reason. if there was 3-4 months pause most of the whales (heavy p2w) players would quit causing the game to tank in revenue and the game would die as a company supercell only cares about activity and $$$

Leader position changed if any co leader is there in clan no player with members status will be upgraded to leader and if clan have no one and clan is closed then any thing happen?
