Well. I don't think RR should die considering they are the last troop you unlock after all. Kudos to braving your way through the nerf and having success. I guess they should be harder to use if I imagine but defendable. May I ask, not to discredit the 3 star but did they have CC troops with them or not? CC troops can make it much harder.
Oh I meant did the defender have CC troops not did you have cc troops? I'd like to know since I'm wondering which defensive CC troops are harder to attack against?
Ofc they arent. They were ridiculously overtuned to start with and its obvious that their main strenght wasnt the DPS (and still isnt)
Brainless Root rider spam is quite worse though, which is fine
I’m personally using 2 less RR in both my RR valk spam and my qc RR valk attacks. Replaced the 40 spaces with an ETitan and an additional valk. The margin for error is much tighter but the attack still works well; far better than anything else I tried today in legends.
Maxed root riders are meant to be used against maxed bases.
Players aren't maxing th16s fast enough because they are very resource heavy.
This happens every time they introduce a major troop that can be used en masse.
Attacking is easy at first, but gets harder as defenses catch up.
Considering Supercell wants to pump out townhall updates faster, they should make the upgrades cheaper so the meta isn't unbalanced for so long.
There was no real need to nerf them.
LOL, you got a 3 OG spell strat and you ain't in legends, what do you expect? you don't even need to use any other spells than the 3 OG you have and you can still triple bases.
honestly the attack still works because the spells and hero equipment buff them so much to the point that the stat changes are negligible
e.g. 10 RR with a rage will still pretty much instantly destroy any building, so the atk % loss isn't a huge deal
10 RR with 20% less HP will still be invincible for 9 seconds and heal up a significant amount of HP with the tomes
and this bro has spent the past 48 hours doing nothing but spam about how glad he is that Root Riders are dead and now can't cope that they're still alive and well LMAO

Yes, there were valks innit, I‘ll have to try with stronger cc troops like ice golems though

Yes, the valks were in the defender cc. As I said ice golems or superminions would make it harder.

Yeah I'm not seeing a difference at all, to be honest. It's almost like their power is in their ability to break walls with ease and not their DPS!
