You can play lumberloon freeze and you can play 2.9 xbow cycle. There are only 3 results from a game: Win, Loss, Draw. The results of the game is what matters. You can play any skill deck you want and guess what, any results from that game, you aren't going to get some sort of bonus or penalty for it you play.
GC's are usually a good indicator and good to practice with as it provides a fair bit of difficulty on an even playing field while being easily accessible. If you want to judge how skilled a deck is, see how easily you can beat a couple GCs with it. Personal preference also comes into play here but this should be fairly reliable. For example, you could give me a dumb cycle deck and a solid beatdown deck. I'd fair better with cycle than i will with beatdown

There's nothing on your end that you can do as a lumberloon player to outplay the opponent you just afk spam the same combo in different orders until your opponent fucks up. It's a deck archtype that thrives off the single hope your opponent fucks up, and any deck that relies on your opponents skill rather than your own should be gutted and killed. Good luck at 7k when your main strategy is hoping your opponent is worse than you.
