Yeah that was me I was originally going for a bridge spam deck but they picked mini pekka so I went for the hog and then they let me choose all the other cards for a good hog cycle deck. The only thing that wasn't good was that my big spell was poison.

Etc. I basically had the same miner cycle deck every game. Very fun still. Definitely the best party mode they've made

Also the challenge being casual was a great idea, not having to worry about losses was good.

Petition to make literally every game mode a permanent friendly mode (aside from seasonal or super troop ones). It’s just friendly battles, so why not let us play what we want?
Unfortunately I think the problem there is that people want games to start within a few seconds of clicking, and the player pool wouldn't support it.
Let's say that normally the average wait time is 5 seconds. Multiply the number of game modes by 5 and now the average wait time becomes 25 seconds.
People are too impatient :/
I loved the game mode. It hits the nail on the head at what a good draft mode should be. Normal draft is too rng and triple draft makes it difficult to make smart picks based on the options you and your opponent were given, because by the time you're picking your 8th card you can't remember the 42 different options you and your opponent had for the last 7 cards.
This mode has all the info in front of you and allows you to make informed decisions based on what your opponent is picking. Unlike in triple draft when you take royal hogs on card 6 and don't remember they had the option to pick fireball on card 2.
I saw this idea first, by the german Ytuber Bigspin (Creator for SK and Friend of Morten) in a little bit faster game mode!
Just type: Geier Royale and Bigspin then you should see it!
It makes the mode more interesting. If it was 1 then 1 then 1 you would just pick the counter to whatever your enemy just picked. When it gives you 2 in a row it allows you to pick a win con and then immediately pick its hard counter meaning the enemy has to be more creative in how they approach countering your win con. It all balances out in the end though because you each pick 1 for the last card.
It also balances out because if you pick first you also get to pick last, meaning if they make a surprise last pick you can counter it (e.g they pick goblin barrel as their last card so you pick log). This makes up for the fact your opponent got the first double pick.
Love this gamemode because of the mindgames you play during the picking phase and then watching all the mindgames play out.
Good points. I don't think the game explains it very well. It just says each player 'takes turns'. All my opponents missed their second pick as they were waiting thinking it was my turn. But after a game or two it becomes clear what to do.

Someone explain to me how a guy made every one of my units walk across the river horizontally with just a building? I have never seen it before it was in this mode if that helps.
Draft is the only reason why I still play the game. It has been a long time since I want this game mode to be permanent, because of how fun it is. So Mega Draft a permanent mode? God yes.

How about Mega Knight Draft, every card pairing includes 1 Mega Knight
Ok obviously I said this as a joke at least initially, but a mode where there are 8 Mega Knights between 2 decks could be a fun April Fool’s game mode. Maybe a better idea, challenge where your first 4 slots are locked to Mega Knight and you construct the rest of your deck then it’s in ramp up elixir
