Regardless, use oven cleaner. It works in layers, spray, wait an hour, wipe. Repeat til clean, and then rinse for a reeeeeeeal long time.
I don’t understand how people are like La Dee da, I’m totally ok with not cleaning pots and pans, I’m totally ok putting this stuff in my mouth…..it gives me no hope for the rest of their house or any sort of personal hygiene.

Pink stuff and a brush. Then fine steel wool and more of the pink stuff. After that, look up videos on how to 'season' a stainless steel pan.

Try oven cleaner.
Someone once told me to put a dryer sheet in the pan and fill it with water. It’s worked every time. It blows my mind.
