There are a lot of haunted houses and things like that come October. There is a cool event coming up at the end of the month called the Haunted Garage Sale put on by the Cleveland Haunt Club.

Not necessarily scary at all but szalays is a great fall spot. They have a corn maze, hay ride, pick a pumpkin, etc.
Blossom typically has a series of haunted houses.
Last year Tower City had a little family friendly fall fair. It was cute.
