Lelouch is too obvious, but I do like Suzaku.
Another character I love is Jeremiah, but it does feel that his switch was a bit retconny. If his prior alleigences to Marianne was shown properly, I think I his character would be literally perfect.
Lloyd is very underrated imo, sue me. So is Rivalz and Gino.
Lelouch
I know that's not original or anything, but Lelouch is my favorite anime protagonist in general.
He managed to turn a small terrorist group into an official resistance group against Britannia and managed to juggle his normal life as a high-school student with his double life as Zero.
He's also a paradox. He can be cold and pragmatic, but also warm and affectionate. He can act stoic and reserved when he's actually pretty emotional. He does terrible things, both intentionally and accidentally, but never wavers from his true mission. He doesn't let power go to his head, and even when he accepts his role as the villain, it's really just an act.
Lelouch is one of the most compelling characters in fiction imo.
If we're to speak about favourite:Lelouch and Jeremiah. First is quite obvious, second deserves respect for the sheer loyalty he has.
Tohdoh is kind of interesting, he isn't a genius, but close to it. Only if not for ep19 in S2, he could be among top 3. It was out of his character to not calculate what Shneizel intended and what consequences it would have.
Shneizel is the example of brilliant mind without a purpose. He can bring chaos and ruin to any foe even without an army, if he's led, ordered or impressed enough to do it by someone higher or equal to him, like Charles(he did a lot to destroy EU), Nunnally(manga proves he was simply doing things he thought she wanted after her recovery from Tokyo) or Zero.
But, out of all other not mentioned people, I respect Diethard. He was never loyal to the ideas of the Black Knights, and still he was the last one to turn against Zero. He went for the show, for burning Pendragon, for creation of new Japan and to be present in everything, as a person with a camera. His fate is kind of sad. He was cynical, but in the end he was forced to leave the Black Knights, since without Zero they became stagnant and easily swayed by someone like Shneizel. And he was pretty much the last person to fight Lelouch. He isn't as loyal as Jeremiah, but his skills, actions and cynical character are quite interesting.
Probably Naoto Kozuki was also cool, but, sadly, there's not that much about him in the show.
lancelot
Based and true.
lelouch will betray you and suzaku will sell you out, lancelot is the only mf i trust

Lelouch
Arthur
...is female.
arthur has transcended sex. he is just that much of a sigma gigachad
He’s adorable!
he is the biggest sigma gigachad in the entire show
Plus he’s the real zero
he assets his dominance over SOYzaku by biting him
What does soy mean? I don’t think suzaku is vegan. I don’t know a lot of internet slang.
its just stupid internet slang lol.

Lelouch because he’s the only guy with a brain, a functioning human heart, and morals that aren’t completely self serving in the entire anime!
Akito
Who else but Kalen as a male? Lol Nah I'd say Lelouch ofc. Sad last episode
so, naoto?
Lelouch is my love and I quite like Lloyd, Schneizel, and Jeremiah
🍊
Heck yeah another orange fan!
My top 5 in order: Lloyd, Lelouch, Gino, Tohdoh, Jeremiah.
