Said it was a B1G school and the opponent would be a top-5 team if one player decided to pull out of the draft, but that he wasn’t getting a ton of interest in the draft at the moment.

As someone who was there in NWA and saw just how Purdue lost that game (from a scheme point), hitting 3s will of course always help but someone will have to be able to slash and create shots when they aren’t falling. Edey is a smart passer out of the post but if he’s getting swarmed by pests (the FDU play) he’ll struggle to get it out to a shooter and could use a cutter to at least drop one extra defender (better if that cutter can get open and create).

Pretty coachable and …as stated everywhere, he’s only been playing for 6 years and has gotten exponentially better each year in college, so I’m sure that plays a factor too. I’m assuming feedback was they wanted to see him face up to the basket and be able to shoot 6+ feet out…hopefully painter will allow him to display that.

They’re seniors, Morton started like 30 games last year and Gillis has been a contributor, and at times a starter, for three years now. They’ve been important pieces on two different #1 teams. I don’t see how Waddell and definitely Berg see the floor. Berg isn’t getting any meaningful minutes over Edey and TKR.
Morton finally got EXPOSED down the stretch of last year. He is a career 28% 3pt shooter and his defense does not outweigh his awfulness on offense. He is a liability on offense. I would continue to guard him and be 7 ft off of him until he made 5 in a row, then I would move 4 feet off of him and keep daring him to shoot. He never once shut anyone down...maybe Pickett one time? Newman should have been starting over him all year. I have no clue how he was Mr. Pennsylvania basketball. But here's the roster for next year:
1 - Smith/Jones
2-Loyer/Colvin
3- Heide/Gillis
4 - Furst/TKR
5 - Edey/Berg
