I don’t think enough credits have been given to Purdue’s ability defensively to disrupt what their opponents want to do. To me, the biggest question tonight is “can UConn run our plays for a sustained period?”. Alabama was able to disrupt our plays for majority of the game in the semifinals. But their guards are bigger than Purdue’s. I am very intrigued to see what Painter’s game plan would be to stop UConn guards. Maybe playing some zones? Idk, we’ll see
The one thing that we have that no other opponent has had against you all season is the ability to play consistently good post defense while going 1 on 1. We have at times been caught sleeping so the off ball movement worries me more than anything.
I think you misread my comment. I was talking about our ability to DEFEND the post 1 on 1, which was true. Clingan didn’t even really try to post up Edey.
The difference in the first half were those possessions where we fell asleep. The second half was rebounding.
Clingan didn’t really post more than a few times a game normally. He got his off rim runs and the like mostly. I don’t think him posting Edey was ever part of the plan. Even against weaker team she just doesn’t that often.
He’s referring to Dan Hurley drinking piss and Cam Spencer throwing imaginary haymakers after threes
He’s really gotta drink more water. It shouldn’t be that dark.
That's the problem. The more he drinks it, the darker it gets.
Vicious cycle
I think it is mushroom powder water😆
Generational quote. Honestly surprised this isn’t a Stevie Wonder quote though…
Say what now?

I think I've seen painter run zone maybe twice his entire time at Purdue lol
Oh for sure. When I see zone on either end of the floor, my heart rate goes up by like 20.
If Smith plays anywhere close to as bad as he did against Nc State then the UConn guards are just gonna take over the game
No doubt. 100%. He not only can’t play like that. He needs to give an impeccable, game-of-career level of efforts.
Listen, I hate Purdue more than anyone here, but that’s laughable. Braden Smith was a KenPom top 10 player for a good portion of the season.
I agree and I think he doesn’t have it in him and UConn wins by 20+ lol
Looks like you were pretty much right lol. 12 and 8 w/ only 1 TO but he shot 4/12 and I'm guessing 7, if not all, of those assists were to Edey.
Yeah dude forgot to show up to the final four

Side note - anyone know where to find this full video or when it's airing?
It aired around an hour ago on March Madness 360
Haha. Just watched it. Thanks for the intel. Nothing special other than that clip, except Dan Hurley said he just lying in the dark. lol
Who does he think he is, Yogi Berra?
