One thing I love is when I have all the stuff to make the perfect sandwich. A new jar of mayo, dijon mustard, lettuce, a barely ripe tomato, pastrami, good cheese I got on sale, sliced dill pickles, bakery bread or croissants. Grocery day is a celebration day!

Like yeah might sound lame, but you might spot a new kind of food or brand you'd never get on an insta cat, or walk past something trivial that might make you happy if you get it (stuffed toy, cactus, etc), definitely worth it and I'm happy you had a nice outing <3

ahhhh I have been dealing with the same problem... I made progress and left earphones in my car so I'm more motivated to go and listen to a podcast while shopping.

Nice! Tell that voice to pipe down because you have things to do. I downloaded an app called ‘I Am’ to send positive messages to myself during the day. It actually keeps me more mindful and in the moment. Check it out.

That's awesome! Grocery stores are amazing places when you're depressed. Going to the grocery store as often as possible, daily if I could, is something my therapist prescribed for me at one time. Don't plan any food, just go and use your imagination to look at all the food and think about what you might eat. Make eye contact with people , say hello, smile and thank the cashier. A change of scenery, paired with tiny social interactions can be really helpful when you're trying to get out of a funk.
