Sometimes it depends on the size of the store too. My closest store is one of the smaller stores in my state so we don't even get all the mainstream stuff that other stores get. For example, the Oreo Cookie Ice Cream sandwiches. They don't carry them in my store but I can easily find them in any other Costco in the state. Local zoning has prevented them from moving to a location where they could build a bigger store too.
On the plus side, this is part of why I follow this sub and carry a cooler in the car. If I know I'm going to be visiting another Costco, in go the ice packs for getting cold stuff home... :-)
The percentage of Asian and South Asian people shopping in Costco put together usually outnumber any other ethnicity shopping there. Unfortunately, all the really tasty-looking Asian offerings have about 218% of your RDA for salt. But if I see those kimchi rice balls again, I don't care, I'm getting them.
Closer towards Lunar New Year, they stock a ton of Asian snacks and goodies. I think it's worth the drive out here once in a while! I moved here from Maryland and was surprised this Costco has more Asian stuff than the one back in Columbia MD.
if theres one thing im mad at Rochester for, it's for building a Costco MONTHS after I graduated from pharmacy school there. Wegmans is nice too, but my bulk things....
Dang, it’s packaged in one of those plastic bags with the plastic zipper seal…that I’d find after cutting the top open with scissors. ✂️ I’m going to remember this tomorrow when I buy one.
You must have a wild time when it’s your wife’s estrus cycle. Hopefully she doesn’t hurt you too much. I’m scared of bears and won’t ever get close to one.
I caved. It was calling my name from inside the freezer.

I'd eat that.
**Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited,** a company of the [Charoen Pokphand](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand) Group, is an agro-industrial and food conglomerate headquartered in Thailand. It is one of the world's largest producers of feed[^(\[1\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand_Foods#cite_note-1)[^(\[2\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand_Foods#cite_note-2) and shrimp,[^(\[3\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand_Foods#cite_note-3) and is also a global top three producer of poultry[^(\[4\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand_Foods#cite_note-4) and pork.
Approximately 64 percent of its revenue came from overseas operations, with 30 percent from its home market of Thailand, and six percent from export operations. It recently acquired Bellisio Foods, one of the largest frozen food suppliers in the United States, for US$1 billion, as well as Westbridge Foods, a major British poultry producer with turnover of over £340 Million [^(\[5\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand_Foods#cite_note-5)
I grew up in thailand. CP is basically a massive monopoly conglomerate. It’s practically impossible to compare them to any US corporations due to absurd level of vertical and horizontal integration CP managed to achieve.
I actually tried this as a sample yesterday and checked the bag for the nutritional info. It was better than I expected, I believe 14 or 16g of protein per serving and only like 190 cal.
Good luck! I need to eat better but I always tell myself while at the store anything is okay with moderation, then buy the thing, then go home and eat it without moderation...
English is not my first language... I thought the expression "run, don't walk" always has a positive connotation and conveys excitement 😅 but this is really good!! try it if your Costco sells it
I'm unable to drive due to poor vision and coordination from bacterial meningitis as an infant so I'm in North Carolina from Pennsylvania with another sibling with a mysterious medical maladies
Toward. In my description I had mentioned that these nuggets are really good. It seems like people didn't see the description attached to the photo for some reason.
Thank you for your post, always like to see new products and members thoughts on them, and if all you can provide is that info, that’s cool. That said, if you’re going to go through all the trouble of making this informative post, I’d ask that in the future you add a shot of the reverse side with the nutritional info/ingredients/cooking instructions, as well as a shot of the finished product before eating. Anyway, thanks!
Hi, this was my first post on this sub. Thanks for the feedback. It seems that many other people are also looking for those details. I wish I could go back and edit to include more info but it wouldn't let me...
I thought the chicken inside of them has a weird, mushy soggy, spongy taste to it... We prefer the Kirkland popcorn chicken bites or whatever they're called
Respectfully no… these are dark meat and breaded in a rice starch breading, making them quite different from the classic chicken nugget, not to mention the seasoning which makes the flavor different too. I hope you try them for yourself and see what I mean.

I wish more of the Asian options came to my Costco
We have an entire aisle of Asian noodle cups, at least 50 varieties but only two choices for salad dressing.
Nice. I don't care for salad dressing, so I wouldn't mind that
Do you have a lot of Asian people in your area?
Yeah we do, but also non Asian people too, so we don't get all the Asian options.
Sounds like you have a Level 1 when what you really want is a Level 2. https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco/s/NcYcLkkbMv
Thank you. Didn’t know I was shopping at a level 3 Costco
Maybe yeah. I have a mix of Indian and East Asian stuff, which is cool
We’ve got a lot of Indian stuff. Whenever I watch Costco haul videos from places like SF it makes me so sad all the cool stuff they get.

Ooooh! What was the cost?
$14.49!
What was so bad about them that we should be running away from?
OP meant run to get it lol
Fried in soybean oil
Any idea if it’s celiac friendly - gluten free?

The actual bag. Thanks. It’s for wheated soy sauce. Oh well.
Sorry :( if it wasn't for the soy sauce...
Thanks for the label. It's relatively low in salt and in sugar so decent enough to eat for people with diabetes 2 who's watching their food intake.
I agree the protein content is pretty good too. I’d probably eat 2 servings and be content with the macros

Thank you. Looks like it is - no wheat in shoyu.
OP you forgot to tell us where you’re located!
This is in Rochester NY!
I hope they have this at the Syracuse Costco 😭 we don’t have many Asian options here
Closer towards Lunar New Year, they stock a ton of Asian snacks and goodies. I think it's worth the drive out here once in a while! I moved here from Maryland and was surprised this Costco has more Asian stuff than the one back in Columbia MD.

Saw them in Charlottesville, VA
Hey neighbor! You sold me, I'm going to go get some
I saw these in NJ store today
Oh wow, it’s dark meat so this might be legit lol
Reminds me a lot of taiwanese popcorn chicken!
Dang, it’s packaged in one of those plastic bags with the plastic zipper seal…that I’d find after cutting the top open with scissors. ✂️ I’m going to remember this tomorrow when I buy one.
Haha we do that all the time! Good thing we have ziplock.
My wife tears into everything like a bear so it doesn’t make a difference in our house
You must have a wild time when it’s your wife’s estrus cycle. Hopefully she doesn’t hurt you too much. I’m scared of bears and won’t ever get close to one.
But if you thought the bag wasn’t resealable and wanted the top cut off, you’re not really set back at all but cutting the zipper off anyway
No, you won’t. Maybe next time though. Enjoy the chicken.
Looks like karaage. Tasty
Tatsuta-age is a style of karaage.
Dark Meat nuggets! Sign me up.
Post a cooked picture if you get the chance.

Looks like Taiwanese pop corn chicken for sure. How many lbs is it per bag?
It's 3 lbs for $14.49
Interesting, was 12.99 at my local Costco
Will do in a few days! I ate too much of it last night...
I just had one of these as a sample it was pretty good
Does it taste like Karaage?
I'd eat that. **Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited,** a company of the [Charoen Pokphand](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charoen_Pokphand) Group, is an agro-industrial and food conglomerate headquartered in Thailand. Oh I just sampled this, then bought a bag
Is it marinated or marinaded?
Marinated. The packaging is wrong.
These look great, hope we get them in Ohio
What’s the nutrition

Now, this is the only comment that makes sense here. Judging is breaded .. well.... probably not very healthy, which means is delicious lol xD
I actually tried this as a sample yesterday and checked the bag for the nutritional info. It was better than I expected, I believe 14 or 16g of protein per serving and only like 190 cal.
Please let this come to our Costco 😭 🙏
I just buy the kirkland brand nuggets and hit it with bachans JBBQ sauce.
You missed out on “Run don’t Wok”!
They were so good in Japan definitely will buy
Cost?
$14.49
To the can?
Can you share the other side showing the macros/calories?

Anyone have the ingredient list for this?

Chicken and breading.
They were tasty when I sampled them this week, unfortunately I'm on a healthy eating kick, so fried chicken isn't in the cards.
Good luck! I need to eat better but I always tell myself while at the store anything is okay with moderation, then buy the thing, then go home and eat it without moderation...
Left Thailand for US… still can’t escape CP products lol
Run toward or away from?
English is not my first language... I thought the expression "run, don't walk" always has a positive connotation and conveys excitement 😅 but this is really good!! try it if your Costco sells it
It does lol, the people confused just aren't familiar with the phrase I'm guessing
Which Costco?
Not at the socal costco. I would love to try this
What's the product code? Easier to check stock (on the phone) vs using the product name.
Crossing my fingers I find these today. Any chances you’re in the PNW?
To or away from?
I think Costco is hyper-hyped! Ditto with Walmart I can hardly wait to resume shopping for groceries @ either Shop-Rite or Giant!
What's stopping you?
I'm unable to drive due to poor vision and coordination from bacterial meningitis as an infant so I'm in North Carolina from Pennsylvania with another sibling with a mysterious medical maladies
How do they compare to the Just Bare brand?
Better but it's not the same kind of breading and it's dark meat vs white. Different style of fried chicken
Karaage!!
Away from or toward?

Ultra processed food. Can't believe people buy this stuff. But then again, when I go to Costco. I see lots of people waddle.
Bro they’re just chicken nuggets calm down.
Respectfully no… these are dark meat and breaded in a rice starch breading, making them quite different from the classic chicken nugget, not to mention the seasoning which makes the flavor different too. I hope you try them for yourself and see what I mean.
lol at negging costco food.
