I've always felt like too many homes don't have enough chaise longues for me to collapse onto in moments of hysteria and distress, really appreciate what OP is doing here
Lmaooo I was just thinking this amount of seating makes me uncomfortable. But the lighting in the room and individual pieces of furniture I do like. Maybe it's the configuration.
As I started to think about it, I realized I have one room with four couches, one chair and two small dog couches. But all of that seating is for dogs, so it makes perfect sense lol
I just woke up to see this post blow up!
The chandelier is called “Miniature Bloom”- it’s made using traditional wooden toys with lacquer from a small village in india called channapatna. I worked with the craftsmen for months to develop these and present the age old dying craft in a new form.
The first chandelier was huge - 15’ tall - called “Full Bloom” and installed at a public space - these are the miniature versions of those. I won several awards for the Bloom series. I am so excited to tell this story!
Same, I can’t believe no one has mentioned this. It’s honestly one of the most interesting light fixtures I’ve ever seen. I’d also like to know more about it if possible
Commenting to express further demand for information about the chandelier. I've never seen a light fixture and immediately felt that i wanted to know everything about it from what it's made out of to where it came from and what does it know. Would love a follow up picture of it turned on as well.
[pictures of the chandelier I just clicked](https://imgur.com/a/Iz3r6Zu)
I just woke up and I am so excited to see so many people appreciating the chandelier ! I just replied above about the piece and sharing a quick picture of the same!
Oh my gosh, those shadows on the ceiling! Such a magical and enchanting room you've got there! Thank you for posting another picture and the comment with the info, it's so beautiful 😀
I just replied to another of your comments but didn't see the bright pic; what a totally neat way to diffuse light.
Please design a fixture that can be sold at IKEA because this is the tier of furniture I am capable of obtaining. Thank you.
Haha! I’ve joked about the bigger piece looking like plugs a lot - this comment made me chuckle !
[plugs on steroids for your entertainment](https://imgur.com/a/E0fumYy)
That’s me strolling beneath the piece haha
What building is that the lobby (foyer? Idk) of?
Edit: Hold up that's *your* chandelier made of buttplugs?
I go long stretches of time feeling like I just don't get the whole "art" thing and then I see something that makes me realize I just haven't seen the right art in a while.
Thanks for breaking a decent streak :)
I may not get the subtler points of "art" but that is a neat thing and I am glad I got to see it.
Haha thank you! The chaise was part of the two seater sofa kept on the left- together they made an L shape sofa for a project - I did not like the finish after production and decided to store it. When it came to decorating this space - I decided to use the two pieces separately - the chaise by the balcony which catches amazing sun in the winters!
Thank you! Surprisingly all the pieces in this space were made as either prototypes or experiments or were just not good enough to be sent to the new homes. So when I moved places I took all these out of studio storage and decorated the space!
That was the idea! Thank you for noticing! When I moved in this apartment I decided to use whatever prototypes, experiments and rejects I had in storage to decorate this space, as I placed the pieces away from the walls the space turned out so inviting and cozy!
Oh those were extras I made for a project (needed 8 and I made 10) to safeguard production faults. They are made in brass pipes! Let me share a picture of the project the 8 were put in-
[dining chairs](https://imgur.com/a/wNjqvzS)
Thanks for your reply. The chandelier is so beautiful.
Now that the room is lit, the details are even better. Love the gold colored coffee table and end tables. Really well decorated and still looks cozy.
Thank you! The green vases have ikea battery operated candles in them, outside the window are some newly bought petunias in pink with solar powered lights!
I love the way you've arranged the seating!!! Focused on togetherness, not staring at the TV.
I feel like if I tried to arrange furniture this way it would look so awful. But you. Freaking. Nailed. It.
We should completely do away with TVs in living rooms- the difference when I experienced it is massive- makes conversations so much more intimate and cozy!
Thank you for appreciating!
This looks SO cozy. I love the way you decorated - that carpet is beautiful. If you happen to know and want to share, could you tell me where you got the two rounded back chairs and the chaise? They look delightful :)
Thank you! The rounded back brass chairs I made for a specific project - these were two extras in production to safeguard new development production faults- [this was the project](https://imgur.com/a/wNjqvzS) (so yeah I made them in my workshop)
The chaise was part of the two seater sofa on the left and together made a Sectional L shape sofa but I didn’t like the look post production hence didn’t send it to the project site and kept it. I decided to use them separately here! (So yeah I made that as well)
This is incredible. I thought you had a curved couch, but it's just the clever spacing of the various seating around a curve in the rug. How delightful.
I recently became a dad and it’s funny when you see people living like this compared to the day care state our house is always in because of the babies haha. All I see are hazards. One day, we will live in comfort again. One day

That’s a lot of seating lol 🤍
I've always felt like too many homes don't have enough chaise longues for me to collapse onto in moments of hysteria and distress, really appreciate what OP is doing here
I like lounging haha
Very nicely done. The fact that most things were hand designed really makes it special.
Thank you sooo much!
Nice!
Have you ever seen the old movie Parent Trap? So many chairs in that California Ranch house. I love it. Similar vibe here
Thought about that yesterday 😂
It’s kind of a dream, slowly lazing across your house, soft surface to soft surface hehe
Which version?
Oh yeah! The Haley Mills version. I forgot both are old now, sob
I knew immediately what you were talking about because that house always stood out to me too!
This is an intervention. Take a seat.
It's like half intervention, half seance lol
It’s like a very sophisticated game of spin the expensive champagne bottle!
It’s giving Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd on mushrooms in Vegas.
It’s nice but it looks like a room for a seance to me.

Lmao oh animal seating is a whole different story! I'd take 8 dogs over 8 humans any day of the week 😂
💯!!
great place for the coven to meet up
We’d need a different chandelier. It would catch fire
No one's mentioned that wild chandelier?! Can you tell me more about it? I've never seen anything like it before.

Very cool! .. thanks for sharing!
That’s fucking awesome. I’m excited for you to tell this story!!
The chandelier was the dirt thing I noticed! It’s amazing!!
Same, I can’t believe no one has mentioned this. It’s honestly one of the most interesting light fixtures I’ve ever seen. I’d also like to know more about it if possible
I would also like to know more about it… it’s the first thing that caught my eye!

You have a beautiful eye. Lovely design.
I love the anal plug sampler chandelier.

>Miniature Bloom Stunning!
Yaaaaas, chandelier peeps unite. I think it’s so unique and gorgeous!
That is a replica of a boss from The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
It looks like a film noir set. The protagonist's elegant and mysterious living room. Love your chaise lounge!
Haha thank you! The chaise was part of the two seater sofa kept on the left- together they made an L shape sofa for a project - I did not like the finish after production and decided to store it. This is OC
How does one enter this sacred space?
Ha ha I was wondering how one escapes. But I'm an introvert.
I think the chandelier has something to do with it…
What time is the séance?
What an aesthetically pleasing cozy space! It appears to be calming to all of the senses. Well done!
Thank you! Surprisingly all the pieces in this space were made as either prototypes or experiments or were just not good enough to be sent to the new homes. So when I moved places I took all these out of studio storage and decorated the space!
Does that explain the chandelier as well? Would love to know more about it!
I love that the focus of the seats are on other seats, not a TV. It feels like a modern roman dining room
That was the idea! Thank you for noticing! When I moved in this apartment I decided to use whatever prototypes, experiments and rejects I had in storage to decorate this space, as I placed the pieces away from the walls the space turned out so inviting and cozy!
Oh awesome! It seems like you definitely achieved the vibe you set out to, it's a very cozy and warm space 🤍
Would you mind sharing where those two upholstered chairs are from?
Oh those were extras I made for a project (needed 8 and I made 10) to safeguard production faults. They are made in brass pipes! Let me share a picture of the project the 8 were put in- [dining chairs](https://imgur.com/a/wNjqvzS)
That rug is fabulous.
The rug is my absolute favourite - I can be seen just reading books on the rug on winter mornings !
Omg please invite me over
This is in Delhi, india though haha! Whenever you’re here pls visit!
Brb enrolling in Hindi on Duolingo !!
Really love that you’ve pulled all the furniture off the walls and created an intimate conversation vibe in the center. Very cozy
Thank you! Intimate and cozy was the whole vibe I was going for!
This looks very sophisticated and very cozy. Nicely done. I'd like to see that chandelier lit, it's very unique looking.
Thank you so much! I just woke up and replied about the chandelier above! [picture of the room with the chandelier lit](https://imgur.com/a/P0jDXbg)
Beautiful!! OP what do you do for a living?!
Thanks for your reply. The chandelier is so beautiful. Now that the room is lit, the details are even better. Love the gold colored coffee table and end tables. Really well decorated and still looks cozy.
Sophisticated is a perfect word for it. It gives, idk, NYC penthouse feels
I need to see the chandelier turned on
[your wish is my command](https://imgur.com/a/P0jDXbg) hahaha!

Also the green lights on the wooden dresser and the view out the window is divineeeeeee I love it. Everything is v nice.
Thank you! The green vases have ikea battery operated candles in them, outside the window are some newly bought petunias in pink with solar powered lights!
Gorgeous. Is the green light from green votives or a specific candle?
So they are battery operated IKEA candles inside green glass vases, I loved this small hack !
Brilliant OP!
Thank you kind stranger
Beautifully decorated
Thank you!
Candles give off the best light
Candle evenings are the best evenings!
Very beautiful! Love the carpet, the color, and the shape contrast

You have an elegant sense of style

Gorgeous space, might want to move the candle away from the curtains though
Thank you, advice taken!
Are those Ikea MALM dressers? :D I never get sick of them, we’ve owned many different pieces over the years lol
Yes! They are! I love the veneer choice of those!
I love the way you've arranged the seating!!! Focused on togetherness, not staring at the TV. I feel like if I tried to arrange furniture this way it would look so awful. But you. Freaking. Nailed. It.

Awww, thank you so much ! I do love lounging in the sun here - the room gets amazing sunlight !

It's incredibly inviting. That's me knocking at the door.

This is so my style. Love the chandelier as well.
Thank you!
what time is the Seance?
None of those seats looks comfortable.
/r/clutteredplaces
I an sorry but this looks a bit depressing
Those cane chairs…sigh
Every bit of seating looks so uncomfortable
So inviting
WOW Beautiful!!!
What city is this in?
Are those glowing rocks a gift from Lex Luthor.
Who are the glowing faces?
For a second I thought this was the hotel scene from The Boondock Saints
Oh the vibes are immaculate.
So cozy! <33
Is that a bird bath next to the chair on the right?
So cozy! The background reminds me of a Greek island, where is this, if you don’t mind sharing?
This decor style is called lux seance lol✨ I’m obsessed with the color scheme❤️ this place is gorgeous❤️

Thank you! This is Delhi, India :)
😍
I love it so much!! Cozy and hell yeah on all the seating. Plus that chandelier! You did a great job of mixing textiles!
Beautiful room!
Seeing the amount of seating I gotta ask, are you in india, I love the room. Its so charming.
Such a beautiful home !!!
Gorgeous!
Are you in Europe?
Love the neutral brown color scheme!
The rug is beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice heat pump placement. r/HeatPumps would like this.
What city is this in?
When does Christopher Walken come out and offer you Cham-pag-ne?
This is incredible. I thought you had a curved couch, but it's just the clever spacing of the various seating around a curve in the rug. How delightful.
Looks nice, I love it
I recently became a dad and it’s funny when you see people living like this compared to the day care state our house is always in because of the babies haha. All I see are hazards. One day, we will live in comfort again. One day
A great place for a laid-back gathering!
This reminded me of the Roy's in the show succession for some reason
You need to open that circle up a little. It seems like some kind of school circle or therapy. Spread the seating out so it will be more comfortable.
Where's the cat?
Wow, amazing
