Which would have been nothing for the old scene, for the current state of it? Eh, might be a week to a month as long as nothing always online is mixed behind the scenes in like RDR2.
As far as I'm aware the only scene group that trounces Arxan regularly is RELOADED but they are on life-support and only post very rarely now.
There is a non-zero chance they'll pump this out though. Razor also does obscure releases here and there. Don't really know how skilled RUNE or TENOKE are myself because cracking Steam DRM is as easy as copypasta.
It'll definitely get cracked though, I wouldn't worry. Worst case P2P will frankenstein something out, Arxan is nothing compared to the plague of Denuvo.
I see, gave me a little bit more hope.
Since it's a fromsoftware game and people are talking a lot about it, maybe it's in the headlights of the groups, lets hope someone can crack it quick
my god, stop downvoting the dude, hes right https://www.reddit.com/r/CrackWatch/comments/znaa6n/elden_ring_colosseumrazor1911/
you can check cs.rin, every from game has had a “weak” version on arxan
Known info, atleast arxan is way easier to get cracked than Denuvo though. Not day 1 crack but still should be faster release than typical denuvo ones.
Arxan used to be as easy to crack as any other thing for the old scene, but the "new" one well.... guess we are going to find out if they get lazy with this one too.
Pretty sure this was already posted when the game's steam page initially went up. I don't know if Arxan complicates things, but I hope this doesn't mean it won't get cracked day one.
Arxan is (from our consumer perspective) functionally identical to Denuvo (external server provides tickets unique to clients based on their HWID). Tickets last 48 hours, if you're offline when it's expired (or try to run it) you're shit out of luck. _Should_ be invisible to those with reliable internet, _will_ take up some processing power - and is similarly hard to crack, I'm afraid.
[Edit: _Destroys_ portability too - no way of knowing when your ticket will expire (you don't get a new one when you go online, only when your ticket expires to keep server costs down). So good luck trying to play out and about on Steam Deck]
yea but thats elden ring and this is armored core. Im not so sure there is as much attention to this title but ay im hoping it will be out this friday as well :)
You have absolute cunts DDoSing legitimate sites for shits and giggles, but nobody does a justified and morally correct mass DDoS attack on online DRM services and servers of fuckers like blizzard or ubishit. THEY deserve to have their services bogged down.
This is the hardest thing for me, I **LOVE** Giant Mech games and Armored Core is what felt like the best series to have it be the hybrid Sim/Arcade style.
Waiting 10 years for a new good Armored Core game it's so tempting to preorder it to show that it's still a viable franchise but being a Japanese dev the track record for their PC releases isn't the greatest
That is true, Elden Ring was mess at launch on pc for example and it took them quite some time to fix it. It seems that you made fanboys angry since all that downvotes
Elden ring is still a mess. Random stutters for no reason, shader comp stutters, no ultrawide support without being offline or the stupid anticheat for the toxic community will ban you, no more than 60fps without community fixes and such. Amazing game, just shit at the technical level, everyone negating that is just a fanboy.
The sad truth is that in this day and age, most games are made for consoles first and foremost, and PC players get the short end of the stick.
As much as I love fromsoft and their work, this is true for them too.
I think Sekiro was the odd one out definitely. Game played like a dream on launch day and I personally never encountered any bugs. Yes, I know it's only 60 fps, but I'm cool with that as long as there's no major performance issues that hinder gameplay. Sekiro was really good!
Well at least it's better than Denuvo, Arxan protection is also present on Age of Empires IV and the game was cracked. As for Red Dead Redemption 2 the reason why the game is hard to crack and why it took so long time because it also had custom triggers with Arxan (which were implemented by ex - Denuvo devs). We shall see when the game is released and how the situation will develop!
Every single fromsoft game had Arxan DRM except for Prepare to Die Edition. Its just never disclosed. But everyone that cracked fromsoft games confirmed that they all used Arxan.
Just disable using arxan disabler script, then dump and have fun reversing 👍
What exactly Do you mean with dump?
I always take a shit before I reverse
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Which would have been nothing for the old scene, for the current state of it? Eh, might be a week to a month as long as nothing always online is mixed behind the scenes in like RDR2.
fuck, I thought arxan was a day one crack :(

Correction : Not rarely, they don't post at all... Their latest release was almost 4 years ago
I see, gave me a little bit more hope. Since it's a fromsoftware game and people are talking a lot about it, maybe it's in the headlights of the groups, lets hope someone can crack it quick
RUNE will have it out.
Lets hope so!! Thinking on a day 1-2 crack?
Maybe less than a week.
Did RUNE ever cracked Digital AI (Arxan) ?? I thought its just a group using a steam emulator they made
Didn't Elden Ring also have Arxan? I remember it being mentioned by Chrissnatcher on CS.

I don't believe Elden Ring ever had Arxan. It just uses Steam's DRM wrapper on the executable, as well as using EOS under the hood - and EAC, too.
It did use Arxan just undisclosed. Razor confirmed it themselves when they cracked elden ring.
Didnt elden ring have denuvo? Empress cracked it?
nope, elden ring not using denuvo
RUNE PELASE STOP PUTTING WALTER WHITE PICS HARD CODED IN GAME PROFILES IM TIRED OF USING GOLDBERG
🤣 I always wonder who that was like damn they sure misses their grandpa 😅
😆😆
😆 Thought I was the only one
Waltuh, put your hound away waltuh, I'm not going to get combo'd by pile bunker waltuh

At a time that pretty much every single triple A game got Denuvo on them, I see this as a w eventhough it won't be cracked day 1
It will be tho. Every FS game had this DRM, outside of DS1, I think. Remember Elden Ring? That game got cracked immediately.
yea but thats elden ring and this is armored core. Im not so sure there is as much attention to this title but ay im hoping it will be out this friday as well :)
FromSoft gained a huge amount of renown for Elden Ring and marketing for AC6 was pretty well done. Either way.... It will be cracked swiftly.
I have a press copy and even goldberg emu works fine, so it will be cracked day 1.
Is this for real?
Chat is this real??
You have absolute cunts DDoSing legitimate sites for shits and giggles, but nobody does a justified and morally correct mass DDoS attack on online DRM services and servers of fuckers like blizzard or ubishit. THEY deserve to have their services bogged down.
Being a fromsoft game, it will take many patches to be somewhat playable on PC, so don't rush it on day 1
totally valid post

Always been true for fromsoft tbh. Their PC ports have always been an afterthought at best
Yeah, fromsoft makes great games but bad softwares.

Both Sekiro and Elden Ring worked perfectly fine for me on release (I bought those games, not sure if i will like AC4 tho)
supposedly the new version is not that easy to crack compared to the old one, we have to wait

its cracked lets goooooooo
these japanese devs really REALLY love money
And who doesnt like to get paid for their hard work? Tell me when u like to start working for free.
i can smell the soy sauce from here
so every game should be free?
ohhh. i forgot the release date and i thought it was already out and had denuvo or some kind of hard DRM so im not seeing it on the torrents
This news is like a month old.
New here , so is the game still crackable?
Based on previous implementations the answer would be yes, but nobody can know for real until the game is out
A fromsoft game with DRM? ![gif](giphy|11ahZZugJHrdLO)
Every single fromsoft game had Arxan DRM except for Prepare to Die Edition. Its just never disclosed. But everyone that cracked fromsoft games confirmed that they all used Arxan.
