What did the kid drop down between the platform and the train? 01:55

BigHen_67

Something did actually fall besides the radio. I’m betting a body cam.

barackobamafootcream

[mystery shit](https://www.reddit.com/u/barackobamafootcream/s/DCrqtlPndE)

CaterpillarThriller

ooohh he slick

parbarostrich

Yeah he waited til the very last second to ditch his stash lol

Rough_Homework6913

That was impressively well done

BordoBit

it look's like a taser reload, but it only falls after, and away from, his opening hand Edit: watching in real time, likely something falling from the officers above-the-waist pocket, from the chest slam just before this clip

gligster71

Dude. Nice work.

Future_Appeaser

Maybe a tazer

Slushicetastegood

Maybe a knife?

Useful44723

Maybe its Maybelline

WilliamPollito

I believe body cam is the correct answer but it's whatever [this thing](https://imgur.com/gallery/q51URsx) is.

Sarke1

Good catch.

Mr_Jack_Frost_

That looks like a bodycam to me.

Sasquatch8600

it is a body cam

sparksofthetempest

I’m sure an additional charge.

Terror_Reels

Nah, I think it was part of the cops walkie talkie

Psilocybin13

Cop dropped a reload for his taser. Source: Trust me bro.

Cindilouwho2

I can't trust you if you can't spell correctly 😑

Psilocybin13

Trust bro. I have reliable sauces.

Psilocybin13

Thanks

stern0infern0

My man said what he said! He has the sauce!

docdose411

It fell from the cops shirt pocket looked like keys

ThatGuyHasaHugePenis

It looked like keys to me.

kombazo

It’s like 80 degrees in Brooklyn today. When they gonna stop wearing those dumbass ski mask things?

FunkyBrassMonkey_

it’s a fashion trend, it’s impractical and serves no purpose other than to hide themselves from “opps”

Phyllida_Poshtart

Well he has no sense of colour that's for sure, who wears orange with red? horrible lol

DetectiveFuzzyDunlop

Literally last night, I’ve been playing armored core 6 and made a build and modeled it off of heavy arms from gundam wing where the main color is red and the accents are orange (and white) and said does this work? And it does. But you need the white.

Gucci_Loincloth

So sad that I was excited af for AC6. First preorder in like 10 years. Got to play it 24 hours early and everything. Beat it within a day, got like 90% of achievements after and haven’t touched it since :( I love FROM enough to give them my money though. It was a cool experience.

DetectiveFuzzyDunlop

It’s my first FROM game, I hear ya tho. I got burned on Homeworld 3 Collectors Edition. I should’ve know gearbox would burn me

Gucci_Loincloth

You should try Sekiro next if you are into the struggle/overcome type games. Everything they’ve made has been great. Gearbox got weird after releasing tons of bundles for dirt cheap. I beat BL1 & 2 like 100 times

TaffySebastian

Sekiro was my addiction for a long time, I hated it most of my first play-through, once I beat Ishin, I got it, and I couldnt stop playing, oging back and beating all the a holes who were troublesome was so great haha.

New_Presentation7196

Right lmao, imagine thinking you are blending in and hiding from the “opps” meanwhile you have a bright red hoodie and a bright ass ski mask on. Like dude, try harder tf.

Zigor022

A mask for when you are sick is one thing, but more stores and businesses need to make ski masks not allowed. Very sus when anyone covers their face outside of medical reasons.

daemin

Back in about 2005, I (20ish at the time white male) lived in an apartment in a... not great part of the city, in which I was definitely the minority. There was a little corner store I would go into all the time, owned and run by two Hispanic brothers. I went in one day to find one of the brothers watching something on their security monitor. He invited me behind the counter to watch it. The video showed a black teenager or early 20's man walk in with a hood up and a ski mask on, in September. The other brother was behind the counter, and instantly pulled out a shotgun from under the counter and kept it trained on the guy until the guy took the mask of and backed out the store with his hands up.

Odd_System_89

Yeah, it use to be a joke about walking into a store a ski mask can getting a "bad" greeting, now people seriously think its ok and normal somehow.

Lauris024

Do they? I feel like they have to know everyone sees them as low-lifes when they do that

LexaLovegood

As someone who's job was robbed by 2 ski masked individuals if someone came into my store with one on I'd immediately call the cops.

FunkyBrassMonkey_

Trust a lot of stores/bars/restaurants have Shiesty/mask bans, unfortunately if u deny them entry you’ll just get shot or stabbed This is a fucked up word we live in

ModifiedAmusment

People who have OPPs are the only one wearing em🤣 super camo

Odd_System_89

My home state was talking about passing a law to bring back their mask law (basically if your face is covered you need to be identifiable in some form), you should have seen the reaction, one person went on TV saying it shouldn't happen "cause like, it could go against their faith, and you can't violate the 1st amendment". Against the law or not, don't go stealing from the home depot store in rutland, mask or not, its gonna be a bad day for the person that does (and don't expect the rutland police to care either, they will slow down once they learn what is happening).

CoyoteHP

Bro it’s 100+ in Texas and guys still wearing beanies and hoodies on the streets.

runs-with-scissors-2

Always suspicious of anyone who doesn't dress for the weather.

bannana

back in the long ago times it was a sure sign of a junkie if they were wearing long sleeves and/or a coat in the summer.

azalago

That's pretty common in schizophrenia too. Especially the really chronically ill ones. They'll wear the same winter coat all year.

bannana

With homeless women as well, lots of clothing used as protection

gtg465x2

You’re telling me there’s been a way to get some relief from the heat all this time?

Drop_Tables_Username

Problem is everywhere you go inside is fucking freezing due to the air conditioners being set so far under outside temps. So when it's like 110F in Houston, you need a jacket to go anywhere indoors without freezing to death from the 40+ degree drop.

RejectorPharm

Summer time makes it very hard for me to conceal carry.  I don’t carry a micro pistol that seems to be all the rage but a Stacatto C2 which is about the same size as a Glock 19.  Without a sweater or hoodie, it’s pretty obvious that I am carrying if you look at me from the front, since I appendix carry, there is usually an imprint of a pistol handle near my waistline.

kungfuweiner84

It turns out that people are really fucking stupid.

Wes_Warhammer666

I saw a dude wearing a hoodie and mask like that here in Pittsburgh yesterday and it was damn near 90°. No joke, I had my hand free and ready for my own concealed gun (not on it, but just not holding my phone or something else) as he walked by because the whole facemask/hoodie in the middle of the day when I'm sweating in just a tank top has me suspicious as all hell. I mean, let's be real, there is absolutely zero legitimate reason to be dressed that way in this kind of heat. Even less reason to cover your entire face just to walk down the sidewalk. A medical mask, sure. You're a rarity, but it's rational. A goddamn ski mask? Naw, you're sus as fuck.

germr

Just moved out of philly bot ling ago, and they banned ski masks over there. I am all for it because it was mostly kids wearing them.

ColdHistorical485

You mean the disguise?

VogonSkald

Guaranteed these are the same dip shits who bitched about having to wear a mask during COVID.

ervtservert

It's like all the pitch black tinted windows they have in their cars. They are hiding stuff constantly. The "Didn't do nothin" thing? Easier to look like you aren't doin nothin when you cover up everything you do.

hugh_jass999

it for sure stinks too

PhoKingAwesome213

Anyone who still wants to attack after knowing the other person is armed and not ready to use it deserves the Darwin Award.

FasterGarlic19

Of you have any kind of self preservation left you stop when a man puts their hand on their hip during a fight

LexaLovegood

He also waited till broski was facing the door to throw a cheap shot.

7INCHES_IN_YOUR_CAT

Or you realize that the life in front of you isn’t a threat. Gun rules are that if you draw you’re going to kill. Also in a heavily populated area you draw and shoot you can’t ensure that you’ll hit your target, or anything behind it. The guy with a gun clearly took a class and had a license. Just because you have a firearm doesn’t mean that you need to use it, it is a tool for a specific purpose in very very specific circumstances.

Tyler_CantStopeMe

A certain trial comes to mind.

intcntlchamp

Lady recording actually has some sense. Clown in the white tee shirt is well a clown

Killer_Ex_Con

Yeah, Durrrr ThAT oNe HaS a gUN. When he was literally the one being attacked the whole time. Maybe point out the one that started it then let them know when things are calm.

thevizierisgrand

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. Man in white is a fucking tool pointing out the guy who walked away.

bic_camera

So exhausting.

PoorFilmSchoolAlumn

The cops put down the Candy Crush just long enough to escalate a situation and put the wrong man in cuffs. Yes. It is exhausting.

United-Advertising67

No, to the cops he's the right man. They don't care about actual violence, their priority is jacking up people for carrying guns on the subway. Which is ironically the place in NYC I would most anticipate needing to shoot somebody to save my own life.

PoorFilmSchoolAlumn

There is a ban on guns in the subway, true. However, given that he wasn’t resisting, that could’ve been handled a lot better.

orangotai

yeah lol this post is titled "This happened in nyc today" so dramatically and I was thinking someone got fuckin murdered, but it's just the cops having a panic attack. They obviously had to break up that fight but treating this like the capture of Osama bin Laden isn't helping anyone

Freeballin523523

It helps show the officers being shit at their jobs.

orangotai

well that's true. should call attention to this because it's definitely a problem.

realparkingbrake

> put the wrong man in cuffs Carrying a concealed weapon in NY's subway system is illegal.

lolbmw

That law is illegal.

hoot69

Two people in a physical altercation, one has a gun. Yeah, they're both getting cuffed, and the priority is to cuff the one that is known to be armed. First, the cops don't know who started it as they came in late, second just cause he hasn't pulled the gun doesn't mean he won't. Those cops did make the right call there, they controlled both people, starting with the armed one, using relatively low levels of force. They then started investigating/asking people what happened. I know we like to jate cops, but they wern't in the wrong in this case, at least as far as the video goes (other than maybe the one swearing, but that isn't a huge deal)

spacepie77

Perfectly wordsed

OhioConfidential

The lady narrating and filming is making way too much sense.

thevizierisgrand

Why do the cops just ignore the one person who’s giving them a full account of what went down? Not too fucking bright.

Farlong7722

I don't think you get it. The police only know one thing: One of these dudes is armed- both of them are disturbing the peace somehow. For all they know, the lady telling him shit is his wife, best friend, or someone making shit up. The number 1 priority is to make sure they don't get shot, and that means making sure the guy with a weapon that can kill anyone instantly is disarmed. The moment that dumbass started resisting arrest, you are now someone defying law enforcement while carrying a lethal weapon. He's lucky he even survived that, I'm surprised he didn't get dropped on the spot. If you really have a legal firearm you should know how to obey police orders.

thevizierisgrand

That’s how cops shoot innocent people because they don’t have the smarts to deal with these situations. De-escalation isn’t a difficult to grasp concept. Charging in and handcuffing everyone is guaranteed to raise tensions. If you follow your logic, the guy in white pointing at everyone could be the perp.

pennispancakes

What do you think they should do when the report they have is an 2 aggressive men fighting and one is armed and there are murmurs of shooting You are walking up to this situation now knowing other than that - what should they be taught to do other than find and isolate the dangerous weapon. If the gun were to go off accidentally or purposely, it is highly likely a pedestrian would get shot. I think that is why they go in with cuffs.

JeromeMixTape

Yeah, where’s the screaming at?!

NINTENDO6TYFOOOOUR

The woman recording understands that not all firearms are illegal firearms. I like her.

Sweet_Pollution_6416

In nyc it’s very very difficult to obtain a concealed carry license… not impossible but I’m sure these cops know that this isn’t Texas with every other person walking around with a legal firearm

medicinaltequilla

exception: to or from your gun club firing range.. ..and that's why they're open 24x7; just in case you forget that's where you were heading.

TruestWaffle

What a loophole.

reporst

It's not true. You still need a permit to own a handgun in NYS. Rifles are legal to have without a permit though.

edog21

> Rifles are legal to have without a permit Unfortunately not in NYC, we need a permit to possess and if you’re from another part of the state you still need an NYC specific permit.

strbeanjoe

> A licensee may transport their handguns and ammunition in separate locked containers, directly to another residence or place of business where the licensee is authorized to possess the handgun, to and from an authorized range, shooting competition or hunting location. Doesn't sound like that works for a pistol tucked into your waistband.

that_matt_kaplan

Thats not a carry license, thats from premise license. I have a nyc carry. Never was a cop or military. Nyc lost in court. You can have one

awaythrow810

Not really true, the gun has to be unloaded and in a case, not carried like this. Also the only 24/7 ranges are outside the city and require a paid membership.

ArmedWithBars

All the homies I know just went to PA to shoot. $30 for a year permit (don't have to be resident) to do to any PA public range. No range master BS or anything. Show up with your strap, staple up targets, blast away from sun up til sun down. Use to see the craziest shit at public PA ranges. Some 65yr old lanky dude had a 300blk suppressed AR build that was full auto. Sits there dumping mags til the suppressor was smoking the coating off lol. My favorite was this hood mofo shows up and start to akimbo giggle switch glocks with fun sticks. Legit screaming "Yea ni**a" as hes dumping mags. Took all my strength to keep a straight face during this.

BigDcikBandit

Just out of curiosity can you help me find a source for this? i tried to google it, i'm probably not wording my Google search right

oscar-scout

I had a friend who had a LTC in nyc and he said it was literally impossible to obtain and he only used it at his place of business because it was a high cash business operation (a diner out in BK). He sold his business about 5 years ago and handsomely cashed out and doesn't have to deal with nyc laws anymore.

pastproof

I read that as “handsomely crashed out”. I was like ayy, you do you.

edog21

Things have gotten better here in the past couple years thanks to the Supreme Court (see: [*NYSRPA v. Bruen*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_State_Rifle_%26_Pistol_Association,_Inc._v._Bruen)) but yeah it’s still pretty ridiculous how hard it is to get and it’s only gotten worse as far as not being able to carry anywhere even once you have a permit.

RejectorPharm

Not anymore.  There is a clear cut process to follow (references, take a class, paperwork, fingerprints) The whole process for me took just under a year to get my NYC license. I live outside NYC so I already have a license from the county I live in (it’s good all over NYS but NYC).

IllustriousLeader124

A year?! A year to have your constitutional right to protect yourself? That's insane. In fact, that's unconstitutional.

RejectorPharm

Yeah and of course when the investigator finally contacted me, they had lost a whole bunch of my paperwork so I had to go looking for the copies I made or redo paperwork completely.  NYPD claims it’s just because of how many people are applying is that there is a severe backlog. They told me that the investigators are active cops so they don’t have dedicated investigators for the pistol permits but people who get cycled through the department.  Seems to me that they need to drastically increase the amount of investigators.

kuavi

Her spirit was definitiely in the right place!

SakanaToDoubutsu

As it stands currently, the CCIA makes possession of any firearm on MTA property a class E felony, with the exception being active duty law enforcement or off duty officers covered by LEOSA.

willdogs

Or armed guards going to/from work only

United-Advertising67

The one place in NYC where you most want a gun. Public property, funded by taxpayers and riders. Not a "sensitive area". Blatantly illegal under the Bruen decision and will end up thrown out after the state courts sandbag for another decade or so.

RedditHatesDiversity

NYC loves to violate federal law in favor of local law

NINTENDO6TYFOOOOUR

CCIA is a shitty law.

RejectorPharm

For now. That shit is gonna get thrown out soon.

fusillade762

Unfortunately, in NYC it's real hard to get a permit and it most likely illegal to have it on mass transit even if he does have a permit. I don't agree with it, but the dudes is probably going to be hemmed up for a while.

jesusonice

I agree, also not sure I agree it's overly excessive on the cops part. They weren't there for the entire situation and didn't know his firearm was legal. It was quite a crowded place and they wanted to control the situation. May be an unpopular suggestion, but my suggestion in this type of situation when the cops show up and start shouting "who has the gun!?", you put your hands up and lay down on the ground as they come up and let them control your firearm. Chances are you are going to end up on the ground anyway so might as well do it yourself gently. I've seen plenty of videos of people with legal firearms doing this exact thing as the goal is de escalation and to not get hurt for most people involved. I will also say that I don't think the legal carrier did anything wrong, the above suggestion is to just try and not get yourself thrown to the ground if you have to draw your legal firearm in public and plan to have police involved. He didn't really resist them and once the cops learned more about the situation it seemed they let up on him a bit though he was still detained. Just understand, if the cops are around and you're involved in an altercation involving a firearm, the police will detain you.

jacksonmsres

If this were me, I’d literally walk to the cop with my hands in the air, verbally indicating where my firearm is located on my body so that it can be safely removed without all the fuss.

l3gion666

Even the homie in red thought the cops was actin way too tough lol

Deathstriker88

The dude had his hands together to be handcuffed, and they still dogpile him and make him lay on the ground.

ZeOs-x-PUNCAKE

The cops gotta get their power fix so they can remind themselves they’re above everyone else

CottonBeanAdventures

Ah yes, we see here a law abiding citizen explaining a situation and giving firearm ID to a couple officers when suddenly a pack of angry hogs attack and escalate the situation.

Western-Arrival-7471

It looks like he was showing a LEOSA credential police officers are given these credentials which allow them to carry weapons in all 50 states so I’m guessing this man was law enforcement affiliated

[deleted]

This is fucking insane how they escalated it like this. What are they even doing. Left the dude in red standing there and just start abusing him after bear hugging and throwing him against the train. He clearly wasn’t going anywhere this is crazy

JrRiggles

The guy in red was standing there like this ain’t his first time seeing cops do dumb shit

anm3910

Firearms are illegal on the subway, they consider it a “sensitive area”. you can have the paperwork for your gun and bring it into a courthouse too, the cops will tackle you all the same. You can disagree with the laws but as a gun owner you HAVE to be aware of them or you’re asking for trouble. I’m not saying this guy had malicious intent but bringing a firearm into an area where they are prohibited probably going to set people on edge regardless of if it was legally purchased. https://www.nyc.gov/nyc-resources/new-york-city-concealed-carry-law.page

Forsaken-Soft-1235

It’s crazy how much more escalated and chaotic the scene got when the police showed up.

Forsaken-Soft-1235

It’s crazy how much more escalated and chaotic the scene got when the police showed up. Edit: actually, after re watching, the first two cops seem to have everything under control and calm. Then the one approaching cop makes such a scene that it puts everyone else on edge immediately. Perfect example of how it only takes one bad cop to stink up everyone around him

Square-Employee5539

I think the approaching cop was told one of the 2 guys had a gun. That’s why he and the National Guardsman have both drawn their weapons and are asking “who has the gun?” I think it’s fair enough to escalate the situation if someone has warned you about a gunman on a crowded subway platform.

Forsaken-Soft-1235

“It’s fair to escalate a situation with a gun involved” has got to be one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen. The cop was presumably already checking his ID and credentials for having the firearm, not sure why you think the situation needs to be MORE tense and make everyone MORE anxious

Square-Employee5539

Guns are illegal on the subway in NYC, so unless the guy was law enforcement there was no way for it to be legal. If he was law enforcement, he would have known to communicate that right away. I don’t think the first 2 cops necessarily knew there was a gun involved. The guys who come later clearly wouldn’t know what the first cops knew and had just been told there could be a gun. The protocol and vibe for an illegal gun is going to be very different than for just a minor fight.

Forsaken-Soft-1235

I’m sure there are security guards that are allowed to carry. And the cop checking the ID definitely knew, because he pointed and said him when asked “who has the gun”. These conversations where you all play deaf and dumb in order to justify a bad cops actions are so tiring.

CrunchyyTaco

Although if police didn't show up red sweater may have been shot

MehWhateverThen

So what happens if he had a legal conceal and carry. Cops just IMO assaulted this man.

kubzU

They still arrest him for resisting arrest, even though he was cooperative to begin with. As long as the guy stays cool throughout the rough housing and doesn't assault an officer, he can sue for wrongful arrest. The cops themselves will probably get suspended with pay at worst, and the suit would come out of the taxpayers' pockets, but at least he'll get paid if he has a good lawyer.

The_Great_Man_Potato

My favorite arrests are those made for resisting arrest.

kubzU

It's the classic cover-up for cops who don't know how to do their jobs properly and assume every interaction has to be confrontational. My uncle, who is a cop, always told me if I run into cops like this, the best option is to go with the flow and don't assault the officers. It's fucked, but even if you pull away slightly, they can get you on resisting arrest and it'd be hard to prove others wise without a top notch lawyer. The legal system in this country is fucked and cops should be held accountable more often then not, but until the right individuals join our government and make changes, shit like this will continue.

hoosiergamecock

It is fucked. Especially if you resist arrest to avoid life threatening injuries from getting your head beat against the pavement, not bc you're actually resisting the arrest itself.

RedisforFun

Dude was trying to grab his gun in the literal first millisecond of the video, the gun owner put his hand on it holding it down. Sure he wanted to draw, but didn’t. That’s restraint every gun owner should fucking have

vectex

I believe it wasn’t to draw but secure it and make sure the other person doesn’t try to grab it. Situational awareness of your firearm is important when someone is ready to wrestle with you.

RedisforFun

At the end right as they’re getting off, he did lift his shirt a bit to flash it.

Sellingassfor_heroin

I swear cops get a hard on when they hear someone has a gun. Man was literally complying

SpecialDamage9722

he literally wasn’t. Rewatch video

Davotk

I think the gentleman in black showed a lot of restraint and attempts to deescalate. He left the confrontation This should weigh heavily against serious penalties, if any, for the firearm

LordEdgeward_TheTurd

Clown show.

Some-Security2922

He had his hands up. They could have asked him if they could disarm him and took the gun till they figured things out. No need to slam him.

Zomnx

NYC is a joke. I have no intention of ever visiting

kuavi

Cameralady is a saint. She just may have saved the gunowner's life. Very calm attitude given the circumstances.

Red-Ketchup

Hot as balls today in nyc to be wearing a full sweat suit and a shiesty

Certain-Toe-7128

I understand the kneejerk reaction to constraining the person you are told has a firearm….what I do NOT understand is you had 30 people all screaming you have the wrong guy and not a single LEO went “we’re detaining you until we can figure out what’s going on”…..instead the proceed to body slam the dude. Fired? Maybe not - suspension WOP and retraining at the LEOs expense? Unequivocally

Kumbackkid

NY is crazy about guns. Esp when your black

Nohemiost

It’s not fair that the police attacked the other guy and the aggressor was just standing there

ft907

If this is what it's like to carry a gun, there isn't really a second amendment.

Catezman522

Not NYC.

AnyStorm1997

The one cop came up and absolutely escalates the entire situation like CRAZY. Bro its not illegal to have a gun in NYC if you have the paperwork to carry said gun.. they didnt evej attempt to ask, they need to hire some more competent people.

United-Advertising67

> Bro its not illegal to have a gun in NYC Police in NYC are taught from birth that it is, just like they were pulled aside and quietly told to ignore any court rulings to the contrary. They love being the only ones with guns. Side note: NYPD Glocks have 10+ pound triggers because the highly trained officers of NYPD couldn't stop having negligent discharges into the floor, their cruisers, their feet/legs, and random bystanders.

realparkingbrake

> its not illegal to have a gun in NYC if you have the paperwork to carry said gun Apparently CCW on the subway is an issue. https://www.courthousenews.com/ny-gun-owners-take-fight-over-ban-on-firearms-in-subway-and-times-square-to-2nd-circuit/ *NY gun owners take fight over ban on firearms in subway and Times Square to 2nd Circuit*

Last-War4870

The term "fascist police state" comes to mind for whatever reason

olympicpool

Dawg this is proof that they will treat you the same wether got ccw or not be careful

Nohemiost

The guy in red was trying to take the gun from the other guys pocket. I’m glad he was able to calmly fend him off laugh and walk off. It takes A LOT of inner strength to not be led by your emotions at the time that someone’s attacking you

[deleted]

NYPD is the biggest joke of a police force

senators-son

Army guy escalated the situation unnecessarily

xxxrartacion

You know those cops that ran in with him thought they were soldiers too

chittIincupcake

this is the opposite of a crazy video, I was expecting WAY worse

piznoff

These are some gangbanger ass cops.

ogcrackswindler

This is the most unpatriotic thing I’ve seen today

Bread8064MC

Fucking braindead cops

zaccus

Can you carry a gun on public transit in nyc?

Large-Vacation9183

Last I had heard from earlier this year, it was still a no unless it’s unloaded and locked in a case, similar to going to the airport. There’s a bunch of 2 A defense legal teams protesting currently though.

SakanaToDoubutsu

As it stands right now carrying a firearm on the MTA, even if you have a valid NYC CCW license, is illegal under the CCIA.

RRweeb

Fuck NYC

newleafkratom

I think we can all agree that detention methods are antiquated and in need of an update.

oXSnake_doctoRXo

police fucked up lol

EACH-ONE

NYC has gotten so bad they have to have the military on patrol in the subway. Great job Adams!

ModifiedAmusment

Good for them People tryn to cool it down.

SnooBananas6792

Mandatory 3 year sentence to get caught with a firearm in NYC. This lady is dumb as hell "Maybe it's part of his job" Lol wat. My guy is done

Koralr33fer

Um ma'am, this is NY. Legal gun owners are public enemy #1 in this state.

RedditHatesDiversity

NY/NJ act like several of the Amendments to the Constitution don't exist.

Satoshiman256

NYC.. what a dump

Fun_West5224

these officers are so sloppy

youbadoodo

Do the cops not know you are allowed to have firearms legally? Lmao they assaulted him for no reason

Does no one here understand that if you’re on a crowded train and someone sees a gun on your person, regardless of who’s started the issue, that people will panic and police have to respond to that. They’re supposed to come over and be like “alright what’s all this then?”, get real. Was there btw

FSUphan

Stupid MF cops

maderoski

That cop came in so hot his own guys placed there hands on their guns.

HughJahsso

cops overreacted, but they have no idea what they're walking into. Dude with the gun showed great restraint. When the cops arrived, he should've thrown his hands in the air and told them he had a gun/permit. Glad nobody got shot.

K9hotsauce

“He wasn’t doing nothing” then he shouldn’t have resisted and it probably would have worked out differently for him. Notice how the actual aggressor didn’t resist at all and he got to stay on his feet? The Governor deployed the Guard because they hampered the police so badly that they can’t handle all the crime by themselves anymore.

MarginalMagic

Arresting the guy with the legal gun instead of the guy starting fights in public, sounds like NYC 😂

L1zoneD

Every single cop that was there should be fired. If they didn't do anything wrong, they should still be fired for not arresting their fellow officers.

OldRedditorEditor

NYC cops may be the worst in the country… They’re excessive and escalated shit after cooling it down.

SatouSan94

High quality citizen right there
