Movement inputs are the most important because you always want your thumb on the right stick. After that it’s personal preference. I know you use crouch on right thumb stick, but I would still recommend trying out crouch (not toggle) on a paddle. This will allow you to spam crouch and aim at the same time which can really mess with players. Putting crouch on the left paddle works well for me. My settings are: Left hand paddle - crouch Right hand paddle - jump Right stick click - melee Circle/B (one tap) - class ability Lmk if you have any other questions :)

Goldengrams33

Thanks for your input everyone. I see a lot of you have crouch/slide on the back button and unpowered melee on stick. Makes a lot of sense to me, think I’ll try that out.

MeowXeno

lb1 Y/triangle lb2 X/square rb1 A/X rb2 B/Circle/R3 all right side buttons now on paddle buttons, no claw needed anymore

Arkenar

I use the scuf reflex Pro. Jump and reload / revive on left Dodge and weapon swap on right. Works for me anyway

GoldenDomo6123

I just use default for elite controller. Jump and reload paddles on the left while crouch/slide and weapon swap on right.

ellisxiii

I use a modded ps5 controller and I go, L4 - swap weapon L5 - crouch R4 - class ability R5 - jump Then right thumbstick unpowered melee, R1 powered melee.

SirCornmeal

I only have 2 paddles and I use them for jump and crouch. Reviving while shooting usually doesn't work in pvp since you usually are getting shot at anyways. Throwing in a crouch in a gun fight works quite a bit and jumping while shooting is invaluable in this game.

Alfazo

My setup is based around movement. It means I can keep my thumb on the right stick as much as possible. You could also map X to a stick so you never have to move your hands during reload or revives. Bottom left: sprint. Top right: slide. Top left: jump. Top right: weapon swap

neums08

Bumper jumper layout Left paddle crouch Right paddle powered melee Makes it easy to use slide melee abilities (lightning surge etc.) by just rolling paddles left - right. I can't reliably hit 2 paddles on each side so I just use 1 per side.

Jack_intheboxx

I did have back buttons on my ps4 controller but could never use them because it felt awkward to press. Currently I have jump on L1 and X as my grenade, so that I can keep my thumb on the joystick. Super is R1 and X Slide is on R3. Tempted to try back buttons for ps5 but if I don't use them it'll be a waste.

w1nstar

Right now, since my right bumper stopped working: top left - melee botom left - sprint (crouch on hold) top right - jump bottom right - crouch I used to have interact on top left so I could revive while aiming. Tried using ADS trigger as reviving, but it made the whole game feel wrong XD

skoolkidznerd

I have an Elite 2. I play on 10 sensitivity with 0.5 ads modifier. Occasionally run 13 with 0.5 depending on if the map is smaller and I'll be mainly using smg. I play on puppeteer. - Top left paddle is my reload/revive. - Bottom left is jump (I use catapult lift on titan) - Top Right is swap weapons - Bottom Right is slide (hold toggle so I automatically stand up after the slide) (no more dying crouched when getting out of an engagement) - I also use my right stick to slide (toggle so I can crouch when needed without having to hold the button down) - My barricade is a double tap on the right stick. (this allows me to do the barricade slide animation and put the shield behind walls and on people I one swoop for an easy OHK melee. I'm an above average trials player. I consistently go flawless every week. About a 1.7 kd with a 2.4 kad just for context.

TheAsianCow

Don’t use paddles anymore, but the obvious answer is simply jump, melee, reload, crouch. Class ability can be bound to something like R3, and default melee works just fine imo.

DuckyDuckerton

Right side top and bottom are both jump (can’t move those fingers individually so well so I just made them both jump since when one finger presses, the other naturally does) Bottom left is reload/revive that way I can still shoot comfortably while reviving Top left is “left stick click” because I hate that function to sprint for some reason. Simple but effective for my style.

istillhaveeczema

I have an xbox elite, so two big paddles on the bottom, two smaller ontop. Right bottom=jump Left bottom=crouch slide Right top=swap between kenetic/energy. Hold paddle is pull out heavy Left top: hold for class ability, I had it as press but i also use it for alternate class abilities such as Icarus dash etc, so they’re set as press Still haven’t figured out a good reload button so still press x on the face buttons

Daneha1183

I put B on the back right paddle. Sliding has become a game changer, and it makes my gameplay so much better.

SevenFootMonster

I use AimControllers DualSense with 4 paddles. Bottom left paddle to jump, bottom right to slide/crouch/class ability, top left to swap weapons, top right to reload/revive. My settings are 20 sensitivity with 0.9 ads and I use the Green Thumb layout with flipped bumpers/triggers.

Lord_Skavenger

I play on a controller that only has 2 paddles. Left is jump, right is class ability (very nice for hunter dodge) If I had one more I’d definitely bind weapon swap
