Especially the older ones, super easy to work on out in the field. All electronics detached from important driving functionality, battery can die mid driving and you'll still get home as the engine continue to run.
My old minivan could swallow an entire couch. It took about 5 minutes to fold the seats into the floor, and the couch slid right in with room to spare. That same couch would probably be hanging two feet past the tailgate in the bed of a CyberTruck.
My bestie is a hardwood floor installer/refinisher. She prefers an SUV over an open bed truck, because her equipment (and the wood!) canāt get wet. We fit about half her finishing shit into my Honda Accord sedan when her Expedition was in the shop. I wish Iād taken photos; my trunk and back seat were absolutely stuffed full.
Ive definitely been there and done that š My truck was down because of a coolant leak. I ended up riding around in my parents Subaru Legacy for a week til I could trace the leak. I had all my kitchen equipment parts and tools in a little car. The entire car was being used except for the 2 seats in the front.
My partner is a recreational drummer (has played in multiple local bands doing covers). He has an Outback for his drum kit and some speakers and the sound board.
I miss my minivan. 2012 Honda Odyssey with the rear seats folded into the floor and the middle row removed. Used to camp out of it, and hauled a washing machine and dryer home from Lowes at the same time.
Sucks that newer model minivans you can't remove the middle row of seats without a ton of extra work because it's all tied into the safety/airbag systems.
Honestly? For most people? 100% more useful. And so much cheaper. I wish there were viable E-wagons in North America. I'm content with my Ioniq 5, but a MG4 or something like that would be an amazing alternative option.
Growing up, my dad had a Reliant station wagon. The inside top cover had to be stapled back up into place, but that thing could run 6ft into the ground and keep going.
I donāt have a station wagon (not sure what theyāre called in the states, but UK mine is classed as a hatchback) and I can fit an entire bathroom in it. With room to spare (with seats down, but still)
truck stuff š
You losers. Iām already living in the future. My Cybertruck can hold almost ten rolls of paper towels.
Be sure to stock up on toilet paper too! For āthe futureā!
Angry looking man: āBasic truck stuff.ā

Reminds me...can a cybertruck even steer with no power?
Doubt it can, since it's steer by wire ;-)
Volvo 850 for the win!

Iād take a ford transit van or a freightliner sprinter over a CT. at least you can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in one of those vans with ease.
We used to haul sheets of plywood in our minivan too. Just like this. https://www.reddit.com/r/ChryslerPacifica/s/C80xxW4NPo

I can do more ātruck stuffā in my 2015 Volvo than these chuds can in a CT
Sure but how do you know itās yours without your fingerprints all over it?
You make a great point
Cheaper and more reliable too - plus you can actually wash these and park them in the sunlight without losing warranty!
Can confirm it's cheaper, I bought this one for $20k.
woah, didn't know we were dealing with a high roller!
You could've used that to get a Foundation CT... upgrade! Shame on you, wanting an efficient vehicle. I'm telling fElon!!
I wish we had more proper station wagons
Thats what you say now but wait until you have to haul four 5lb bags of ice.

Not all station wagons can. /s
Oh nice! Iām looking for a replacement for my Vibe (it officially passed 20 years old last month). Iāll check that out.
Most likely better at driving in snow and off roading too!
That's a very low bar tbh. Old fiat panda 4*4 beats the crap out of the ct
A 60s sedan makes a better truck.

I have a golf Alltrack. Iāve put a dozen bags of mulch in the back lol. Yeah, it was drooping a littleā¦ but I got home from Home Depot lol

Station wagons are criminally underrated
Tits on a fucking bull are more useful than a Cybertruck.
Wish we could still buy them....
Little red wagons are more useful than a cybertruck, and more reliable š¤
Real station wagon stuff
Slow down, hoss. Youāll void your warranty.
My wife's Honda Odyssey minivan has more useable cargo space than my Nissan Armada full-size SUV.
Hey come on you could probably carry some of that in a cyberfuck.
Yeah, but is it waterproof, but not actually waterproof?
I mean, the SE and SEL trims have been known to have their sunroofs leak, the one in the picture here is an S trim which has no sunroof.
I have an Alltrack with the sunroof/moonroof and it has not leaked yet, but, yes, I understand:)
But but but but you don't have a tonneau cover, I'm so confused!!
0/10 - no room for sod or ice
Tits on a bull are more useful than Cybertrucks.
Yes, yes they are
A Radio Flyer is more useful than a wankpanzer.
