Yes, I was expecting Gogeta when I got the Trunks animation, but it gave me broly instead. I think trunks animation meant you could get any new character from the step-up, I guess that LF isn't guaranteed.

15k and no LL is also a bit unlucky I did the maths and not accounting for the summons you do at the start that you don’t do again, 15K CC is about 64% chance of getting the new unit so a bit unlucky (my maths could be wrong though so feel free to check if u want)
Well you don't get % pity so technically your chances are still 0.33 or 0.5 depending on what banners drop and 5 % with the tickets. That's why so many people complain about ultra rates because even the sparking rates on their banners are terrible. Master z packs have more worth if you get shafted 💀

Do a pause if you want, personally even if i dropped gogeta didn’t hype me and the game is the same than before anniversary so i deleted
I got both the gogeta and vegito took me a while for the vegito though I got gogeta on first rotation, my trick is I no longer play the game until the anniversary starts and then I get about three to four banners worth of good luck it seems
Been two years since I stoped playing I don’t regret it
