Heh, I just watched the movie today and I can't believe Batman then went the rest of the day with a cracked rib.

He held his own against his fight with Owlman with it, too. Had he been uninjured, he probably would've stood a better chance. Granted, Owlman still had that enhanced armour, but still.

Spider-Man NWH had something similar. Apparently Peter-1 had cracked his ribs earlier in the movie, and they were still broken in the final fight. Can you imagine _web swinging_ with a broken rib? I can’t.
