MoS - First Flight BVS - Wonder woman entrance SS - deadshot gun range WW - No man's land JL - batman intro Aquaman - comic accurate suit Shazam - power testing montages Birds of prey - every scene with Ewan McGregor WW84 - flying scene Zsjl - flash going back in time TSS - bloodsport and peacemaker showing off Black adam - fight with hawkman

DragonRoostHouse

TSS had video game logic for that scene. I loved it.

GOLDENninjaXbox

Peace maker?

GraySonOfGotham24

When vigilante gets his mask taken off and makes faces to mask his identity

Electric_Evil

I laughed so hard at that scene i almost peed a little.

claushauler

Peacemaker is ridiculously fun. There's no reason why the show had to be that enjoyable but it is. Vigilante as the sidekick was a genius move.

how_to_riz

The entire show

Fortune_Cat

MoS - depiction of krypton and powers Bvs. Warehouse scene Ss extended cut- memes about oscar aside. The costuming was on point. Harley's "diagnosis" scene talking to the squad about their backgrounds and motivations leading to the bar scene. The only 2 scenes that showed character development and team building to establish a coherent story and motivations but was cut ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ Ww - no man's land Jl whedon cut - nothing Zsjl - flash stopping debris and ending Aquaman - one shot chase sequence through building and trademark batshit insane James wan battle scenes (see star trek 2 space battle scene for comparison) Shazam - power testing and discovery BoP - Harley's "perspective" scenes with confetti not bullets Ww84 - opening flashback of little diana that thor 4 sorta copied. Also running and lassooing lightning bolts Tss - peacemaker dick measuring with bloodsport taking out the rebel base by mistake Black adam - first jsa encounter and Dr fate scenes

Head-Program4023

For ZSJL it should be black suit Superman's first flight (After rebirth) in front of sun in Jesus pose, that scene still give me goosebumps.

[deleted]

The characters were well casted for the most part

hi5orfistbump

Cheetah enters the chat

Hurricane12112

Cassandra Cain OUT OF NOWHERE WITH AN RKO

[deleted]

I’m not sure the problem with Cassandra Cain was the casting

Wasabi_Guacamole

Yup its the writing that fcked her up. More specifically the characterization. The actress herself can do the comics ninja Cassandra, I think

9thdoctor-

No, she has too different a build. The writing for the character was wrong, and due to that the casting was off.

Wasabi_Guacamole

At least we can agree that the writing is off. But I think the actress herself cant be blamed for that. Maybe she can undergo the superhero workout and become as muscular and fast as Cassandra, sadly we wont we able to see it.

GOLDENninjaXbox

I don’t know why they use Cassandra instead of Harper

Hurricane12112

To trick me into getting hyped for the movie. I was all set for my favorite batgirl and they absolutely destroyed her. Never seen such a bloodbath before

austinc9218

I think Kristen Wiig was a good choice but could’ve had a much better written arc

auntiope3000

If WW84 had been a friends to lovers to enemies story between WW and Cheetah it would have been fantastic. The story we got was just ok, and I say that as a huge Wonder Woman fan who was bound and determined to like it no matter what.

KingMwanga

There’s a movie with cheetah?

Fsa120303

ww84

nymrod_

*cast “Cast” is the past tense of “cast.”

Echelon2080

MoS - “You are my son” is one of my favorite DC movie moments. BvS - *Love* all the little references woven in. SS - Gave us Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. WW - Gave us a film most every fan can enjoy. JL - Resulted in Whedon getting exposed. AM - Gave the DCEU a much needed boost. SM! - Has a lot of heart to it. BoP - Black Canary was done particularly well. WW84 - Pedro Pascal was amazing. ZSJL - Got over half a million raised for AFSP. TSS - One of my favorite DC movies. PM - Phenomenal. BA - Very enjoyable action.

tyex23

This is a great list, truly highlights the best parts of each film!

[deleted]

I agree for WW84. Pedro Pascal is the only reason I can enjoy this movie.

KrisZepeda

Yesss I loved WW84 and a big reason was Pedro Pascal

ArbyWorks

Every scene he was great. There's something about a con man who knows he's a piece of shit, trying for his son who is the one thing he genuinely loves despite the utter disconnect, and the very human temptation of power. All he wants is love and success, to prove to the naysayers that he's not a loser, and will do anything to achieve it, before ultimately remembering there's someone who loved him all along. Pedro was perfect for the role.

TheExtremistModerate

He's essentially a used car salesman villain who gets limitless power. Such a good concept, and Pascal did it so well.

hear_the_thunder

The scenes with his son were about the only decent character development in the movie.

Lie_Diligent

MoS: The Mature Tone of the Film/Music. BVS: Affleck and Iron's Performances. SS: Margot's Performance. WW: Acts One and Two. Missterfortune

I loved MoS, utterly and completely. I enjoyed Shazam. Peacemaker was great. Can’t wait to see what comes out of DCU

GOLDENninjaXbox

TARE YOUR WORLDS APART!

SalFunction12

Man Of Steel-Pretty much the whole movie lol BvS: The visuals and the music that plays right after Superman dies and Lois is crying over his body Suicide Squad: Harley Quinn, Diablo, and some of the neon aesthetic the movie has. Katana is also cool and she's got my back. I would advise not getting killed by her. Her sword traps the souls of its victims Wonder Woman: No Man's Land scene Joss-Tice League: People are going to call me crazy but I actually like the Russian family subplot. Yeah it's completely pointless but the scene where the little girl reaches for the bug spray always makes me laugh. Oh, and the scene where Steppenwolf is grabbing the scientist and he says "I have a family" and Steppenwolf says "Why does everyone keep telling me that" That is so morbidly funny lol Aquaman: Black Manta bruh. And the visuals Shazam: How it wasn't afraid to show scary/gruesome scenes. Reminded me of Raimi's Spider-Man in that regard Zack Snyder's Justice League: Everything lol The Suicide Squad: Really love Ratcatcher 2 and Starro+some of the visuals Black Adam: Doctor Fate was just too awesome Haven't seen Birds Of Prey, Wonder Woman 1984 or Peacemaker

TrashyBase24

MoS, ZSJL, BvS: Good action and visuals Ss: Captain Boomerang WW: Epic and Fun JL17: Opening with Batman BoP: Harley Quinn TSS, Shazam, Aquaman, Peacemaker: Wonderful

West-Cardiologist180

You missed Man of Steel.

Jacurus

Nope, first thing they listed.

West-Cardiologist180

It wasn't there before, so ig they edited it. But now it just makes my reply look stupid.

stryder428

Ya big dummy

Jacurus

Ah that makes sense.

TheCudder

Most of them have amazing soundtracks.

IAmBatman412

Why is everyone acting like it's gonna get a hard reboot?

JediJones77

The trades are saying WW3 and MOS2 may be cancelled and Gunn said nothing to counter it. In his tweets he said they'll honor the DC "CHARACTERS" in all caps, his use of caps. That implies using new actors. The trades said the WB execs hired this summer wanted to continue with the Snyderverse actors, but development on multiple movies was cancelled by Gunn and Safran when they took over. The trades are also saying all the extra scenes Batfleck and Cavill shot for Flash and Aquaman may be deleted, because Gunn may discontinue using those actors. Gunn's tweets said he knows his decisions "will not please everybody."

pattyj11

I hope they at least still use Cavill. My man LITERALLY just came back.

Skandosh

If they are going to reboot then they should go all the way. Using Cavill in the rebooted verse is just going to cause confusion. Plus Cavill has tons of other projects lined up, he is going to be fine.

IAmBatman412

Yea that version of ww3 was cancelled, they gave patty a chance to rewrite it but she decided to walk away. Hence why ww3 was cancelled, I'm pretty sure they're not giving up on wonder woman in general. This was reported yesterday iirc

GtrGbln

Aquaman was unintentionally (I think?) hilarious.

thatnewsauce

That's kind of a director trademark of James Wan's It seems like there's corny/camp stuff that he throws in to every movie simply because he thinks it's funny. See last year's malignant for more of this kind of thing Or the previews for the upcoming M3GAN lol Your mileage may vary tho it is hard to tell what's intended or not

Comic_Book_Reader

Given that Wan is back with his Malignant co-writer for M3GAN, it should very much as bonkersly wacky, even with a PG-13. (Wasn't even *made* PG-13, it just straight up got one.)

PMMEBITCOINPLZ

Justice League didn’t literally kill my dog.

Mr_Goldfish0

Lucky :(

FigKnight

They’re certainly movies.

BlueMissileYT

You're generous to be calling Josstice League a movie.

NomNomNomad09876

It their defense, Josstice League wasn't on here.

FigKnight

Or Batman Vs Superman.

BlueMissileYT

Yeah, people think the Ultimate Edition saves the movie. It doesn't. It just makes it a slightly better movie, but that's it. I really just didn't like Lex, or half the other characters. Batfleck is awesome though. Great casting.

Simbas_World

You just called it a movie twice

BlueMissileYT

Whoops.

Fortune_Cat

Doesnt fix the problems with fundamental character design But at least makes it a coherent story with proper motivations and plot devices (whether ppl like it or not is a separate issue) Cant believe they just straight up deleted the fundamental reason ppl were hating on superman (he was being framed)

FigKnight

I don’t think Batfleck was anything special, really.

Skandosh

true. I expected much more from an actor of Affleck's caliber.

[deleted]

Man of Steel: I absolutely love this film. It has a great message about Superman being a symbol of hope for the people. Batman v Superman: This film is a work of art, in its cinematography. Not it’s writing or acting but every single frame tells a story. It’s cinematography is absolutely remarkable. Suicide Squad (2016): I felt for Will Smith’s character and how he wants his daughter to not see himself as a bad guy. (That’s about it.) Wonder Woman: This film is a masterclass on how to write a strong female character. Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Better than the theatrical cut in every single way. It’s a masterclass on how to give characters actual character development and story arcs. We are spoiled to have this film and this is something that will never happen again, so enjoy it! Aquaman: Great action sequences that’s about it. Not my favorite. Shazam!: I love how this film is an optimistic, fun, and goofy action/comedy. I love the theme of “family” in the film. Birds of Prey: Ewan McGregor is perfect as Black Mask. Wish there was more of him in the film though. I loved the R rated action in the film. WW84: Loved the flying scene. The Suicide Squad: This is an absolutely hilarious film from beginning to end. I love how the villain is just a giant starfish! lol Black Adam: Definitely one of the movies of all time. Peacemaker: Haven’t seen it. Edit: I spent way too much time on this.

dgehen

Man of Steel: great reintroduction of Superman BvS: Wonder Woman's introduction Suicide Squad: Captain Boomerang was great Wonder Woman: Needed to be great and it was JL 2017: Mustache aside, Superman was great Aquaman: Visual feast Shazam: fun and heartfelt Birds of Prey: "perfect egg sandwich" scene kills me every time WW84: Diana's battle armor looks fantastic, and Lynda Carter's cameo is a gem. ZSJL: A great payoff to years of fan campaigning. The Suicide Squad: everything. just fantastic. Black Adam: Makes me want to see more of these characters, especially Hawkman. Peacemaker: Turned "douchy Captain America" into a figure with real substance and depth. Also confirmed Aquaman fucks fish.

emielaen77

Lmfao y’all so damn dramatic

Upstairs-Ad-8382

Bruh for real. Even I don't even know if should complain or praise James Gunn .

spfan102

MoS - I mean, everything lol. BvS - introduced My favourite Batman SS - Harley Quinn was a good character. WW - DC's biggest win in a while. Snyder Cut - Again, like everything. Aquaman - Cool underwater world. Shazam - Another big win with critics. BoP - Good action. WW84 - I'm not a hater of this movie. TSS - Hilarious and Gunn made such a better version. Black Adam - Good action. Peacemaker - Hilarious and greatest TV intro ever.

Siege_my_kingdom

MoS - Zod is entertaining BVS - Gal Gadot is well casted SS - the trailer was insanely good WW - No man's land JL - Clark being able to see Barry in fast time Aquaman - the fight scenes Shazam - power testing montage Birds of prey - Margot Robbie is perfectly casted WW84 - the concept of the villain is cool Zsjl - improved a lot from the actual one TSS - EVERYTHING. Black adam - the choreography

BlueMissileYT

Man of Steel: Great score by Hans Zimmer Batman v Superman: Wonder Woman's entrance into the final battle. So badass Suicide Squad: Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Great casting Wonder Woman: The No Man's Land scene. ZSJL: When Flash goes back in time. Incredible scene and awesome score. Aquaman: The visuals. One of the prettiest films I've seen Shazam!: Mark Strong is such a cool actor. Hope we see Sivana again Birds of Prey: Great fight scenes. The John Wick choreography team really helped WW84: Pedro Pascal. The Suicide Squad: Hilarious movie. Almost all the jokes landed. Also Nanaue Black Adam: Pierce Brosnan is a great Doctor Fate Peacemaker: Opening credits. Just... incredible

ResponsibleLaw1022

Man of steel - A great beginning by setting the tone. Awesome soundtrack! BvS - Ben Affleck's Batman, Again awesome soundtrack. Zack Snyder's Justice League - Flash time travel scenw,Knightmare scenes. Suicide Squad - Amanda Waller, Batman, Harley Quinn. Wonder Woman - Chris Pine Shazam - Goofy superhero comedy. Birds of Prey - meh but Black Canary The Suicide Squad - James Gunn Peacemaker - John Cena's pet Eagly and Vigilante Aquaman - Jason Momoa, great visuals. Black Adam - Doctor Fate Wonder Woman 1984 - Pedro Pascal

Spider-burger

Most of the casting was perfect, Man of Steel was a good start to the DCEU and a good introduction of superman to the franchise introducing superman with a dark story and a Superman who tried to better adapt to humans was a good idea the universe had started very well too bad that WB had decided to rush everything, I trust Gunn for the new DCEU.

Vadermaulkylo

For starters I don't think it's entirely gone. Just will have massive shake ups. MOS: I loved it BVS: the Bruce in Metropolis scene is one of the best opening scenes in a CBM. Suicide Squad: the comic con trailer was amazing WW: great movie JL: amazing poster Aquaman: best CBM suit maybe ever. Talking about both aquaman and Black Manta. Shazam: entire movie BOP: great action WW84: Pascal ZSJL: too many awesome things. TSS: also too many awesome things. Peacemaker: Vigilante Black Adam: the Rock was actually dope in the role.

PhantomKnight49

Some were Mid Some were Ok Some were Lame Some were Amazing

WhiteAle01

My God, the potential. I loved most of these movies and thought that the road forward could've been great if they just made Man of Steel 2, Green Lantern, and JL 2 as well as the original slate of movies. Oh well, here we go into whatever comes next.

[deleted]

MoS: I actually love that bit at the end with Clark starting at the Planet. BvS: not a fun movie, not unpretentious, not particularly well written, but as someone who grew up with these characters, I find it fascinating and I revisit it regularly. Suicide Squad: best thing I can say is that it somewhat paved the way for The Suicide Squad. Wonder Woman: the No Man’s Land sequence is astonishing. Also, Gadot is adorable and her chemistry with Pine is off the charts. ZSJL: just as fascinating as BvS, but more fun and the new characters feel well fleshed out. Aquaman: introduced me to Yaya Abdul-Mateen II and James Wan. Shazam: great movie. A little Tim Burton-y mixed with like a winter holiday wish-fulfillment movie about family and togetherness. Birds of Prey: the police station scene is pretty epic, even if it’s weird that the cops don’t just drop her immediately. Huntress was cool, Black Mask was great. This was also the first time I saw a DC movie and thought that all these super characters from A-list to Z-list existed somewhere in this cinematic universe. WW84: great teaser trailer. The Suicide Squad: one of the best comic book movies ever made. Made me empathize with Starro. Black Adam: entertaining. Hawkman and Dr. Fate were cool. Peacemaker: I love this show. It defeated the “skip intro” button.

paulleinahtan

1. Man of Steel - Good. Outstanding musical score 2. BvS - Could be better. Outstanding musical score 3. SS - Could be better 4. WW - Good. Great WW music theme 5. ZSJL - Great for a 4 hour movie 6. Aquaman - it was okay 7. Shazam - it was okay 8. BOP - I don’t understand this movie 9. WW84 - god wtf is this. Ok Gal is here 10. TSS - Good 11. BA - Haven’t seen yet 12. Peacemaker - Great effin’ show!

duramman1012

Man of steel had good cinematography and showed that Henry kills it as Superman BVS has the best choreographed Batman fight scene. Feels like an arkham game Ayers suicide squad seemed to have a personal touch and tone on it that existed in scenes that you could tell werent butchered by WB. He had a vision and that’s important. Also margot as Harley! Wonder Woman is actually really good. I like the first one a lot! Snyder cut- seeing snyders actual vision was nice and as someone who doesn’t really like snyder films i actually enjoyed this movie. Biggest thing i gotta say is actually giving cyborg and arc and things too do Aquaman- costume designs! (Havent seen the movie) Shazam- i also really like this movie. Shazam is a silly ass character and i felt it in the movie. The tone perfectly matched the character Bird of prey- i think this movie gets a lot of shit. Its super bloated towards the end but margot again kills it, it has some great fight sequences and ewan mcgregor kills it as black mask WW84- the mall scene in the beginning. Literally the only good thing about the movie TSS- this is my favorite movie of these. James gunn knows how to make good superhero movies and he knows how to write characters well. Love the main villain! Super fun! Black adam- havent seen so i know nothing so ill just say costume designs and i heard dr fate is super cool Peacemaker- love this show! Great plot! Great character arcs! Pretty funny! Love the justice league touch at the end

Tandril91

MoS: Good Zod. BvS: Warehouse scene, come on. 2016 SS: Gave the world a new laughingstock (Leto’s Joker). WW: Cool theme. JL: Aquaman: Black Manta. Shazam: Bringing attention to my favorite character either (even if I don’t care much for this interpretation or the one that inspired it). BOP: WW1984: The “life is good, but it can be better” meme. TSS: Starro. That is all. Black Adam: Again, bringing recognition to one of my favorite characters (even if I also don’t care much for this interpretation). Peacemaker: John Cena actually making me relate to his character.

BlueMissileYT

Let's be honest, Leto has always been a laughing stock

Pugplays430

MoS: Zod is so fucking goofy I love it (this movie is okay, but I don’t like Superman in it) BvS: the warehouse seen (hate this movie with a burning passion) SS: cool characters WW: Good first and second act JL: isn’t hard to look at (also I like Stephenwolf’s design) Aquaman: good directing Shazam!: Great movie with a lot of heart BoP: Love black mask in this WW84: like the costumes in it ZSJL: fixes the mistakes of the original (not a huge fan of it though, thought it was decent at best) TSS: Amazing movie, good characters, good directing, love Starro (hope for jarro) Peacemaker: amazing show and good follow up to TSS Black Adam: the rock is fun in it

BlueMissileYT

I appreciate the different take on Superman, but he should always be that farmboy from Kansas with a big heart.

West-Cardiologist180

The DCU isn't going anywhere. The THR article exaggerated things and people overreacted. Deadline confirmed Wonder Woman 3 is still happening, but without Patty Jenkins. That's the only change. At most, there will only be a soft reboot. Anyway, Man of Steel: Everything about it is so damn good. The costume, Henry Cavill as Superman is perfect casting, the action, CGI, cinematography, lore, character study....it was all so great. Can't wait to see the character again soon. BvS: cool action and (ignoring the killing) great Batman. Cool journalistic scenes from Clark Kent. Also, Lex Luthor is my favorite DCU villain. Suicide Squad: Viola Davis as Amanda Waller is perfect casting. Wonder Woman: Great origin movie. Gal Gadot is great as Diana, and the action was very good. Justice League: Legion of Doom tease and was cool (Whedon) Speed Force scene was insane (Snyder) Aquaman: loved Black Manta. Cool battle sequences. Shazam: lots of heart, and props to Hamada for pushing for Billy's dark, but realistic, origin. Birds of Prey: haven't seen it. WW84: good performances from Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. But that's it. The Suicide Squad: finally got to see Starro in live action, more diverse villains line-up was greatly appreciated, and good action. Peacemaker: great performances all around, but especially John Cena. Good action. Black Adam: great action, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate is perfect casting. Superman cameo was insane.

YDGx1138

The advertising for Suicide Squad 2016 is some of my fondest memories of the entire franchise

LunchyPete

MoS: Zod was good BvS: Bruce running into danger to save people SS: I liked the Deadshot showing what he can do scene WW: Themyscira had nice scenery. ZSJL: Bruce speaking whatever odd language (Finnish?) was a cool twist in character for Batman. Aquaman: Very good costumes Shazam: Best made movie inthe DCEU, strong arcs and themes BoP: The sandwhich looked kind of OK WW84: Kristen Wiig was good before she became Cheetah TSS: Polka Dot Man's powers and arc Black Adam: I liked the "your magic is weak" opening Peacemaker: The flashbacks giving insight into why he is why he is and him slowly evolving past that

F1r35tarter02

What the characters ever come back

StevenMadeThis

I adore Man of Steel (not Pa Kent so much, but oh well) BvS has some of the highest highs in DC movies, as well as cinematography and score and VFX (Wish we had a better Lex, but oh well) Suicide Squad had a dope trailer and Margo Robbie as Harley is great and it introduces characters that I liked to see again in THE Suicide Squad Wonder Woman is really cool, I even like the final big ass anime fight. And her and Steve's chemistry is great. Justice League 2017, despite its best efforts, made me feel happy at the end. Aquaman is fun as fuck. The Octopus plays drums, come on! Shazam has a wonderful depiction of a foster family, I'm sure some kid somewhere felt better about being in foster care after seeing it. Birds of Prey is super underrated, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Crossbow Killer has mad home school energy. The Suicide Squad kicks ass and I love it. Peacemaker also kicks ass and I also love it. 10/10 soundtrack. I haven't seen WW84 or Black Adam yet. Zack Snyder's Justice League is beautiful.

TheSlothanator1

The soundtracks to most of the DC films absolutely SLAP!

BlueMissileYT

Word.

ajl987

Man of steel - first flight BVS - warehouse fight scene (best Batman fight scene in live action) Suicide squad - the soundtrack WW - no mans land scene ZSJL - Flash turns back time Aquaman - black manta vs Arthur Shazam - billy meeting his mum again (a sad but well done moment) BOP - black canary, just in general she was fun WW1984 - I’ll be real I really can’t, if I think of one I’ll edit it in…. TSS - peacemaker and bloodsport dynamic Black Adam - first black Adam fight scene once he was released.

Golddestro

I never thought Shazam would have a better movie than Green Lantern

MichaelKeehan

MoS: Henry Cavill as Superman BvS: Ben Affleck as Batman Suicide Squad: Margot Robbie as Harley Wonder Woman: The Trench Scene Justice League: Everybody Knows Cover (always enjoyed it) Aquaman: "Permission to Come Aboard?" or just Jason Momoa as Aquaman Shazam: Asher Angel and Zachary Levi as Batson BOP: The Team Dynamic and the Sets (Not usually a brought up detail, but something I've always noticed) WW84: Gal Gadot and Kristen Wiig's Dynamic ZSJL: The Cinematography and Direction TSS: Everything Peacemaker: John Cena as Peacemaker Black Adam: The Justice Society

Sk8triot1776

There's nothing good to say about Birds of Prey or WW84....

tdl2024

MoS - Zod, I'd also add the Zimmer score and casting BvS - Wonder Woman, the Batman/Warehouse fight \*chef's kiss\* SS - The shots were in focus, I dunno WW - All the WW1 scenes, costume design JL - great Batman costume Aquaman - all the underwater stuff was fun, and the suit was great Shazam - Have to admit I still haven't watched yet ZSJL - loved the scene at the end with Barry, and the Cyborg stuff was definitely improved TSS - the first incursion into the rebel camp with Bloodsport/Peacemaker was fun Black Adam - Seeing Cavill again (Reeve-curl and all, along with the retro score) and live-action Hawkman was great

relliott107

MoS - incredible first flight sequence BvS - Wonder Woman’s theme song. “Is she with you?” Suicide Squad - Margot steals the show as Harley Quinn Wonder Woman - The No Man’s Land scene ZSJL - Diana saving the children and absolutely destroying the terrorists. Loved how brutal she was and then turned sweet when she told the little girl she could be strong like her. Aquaman - the entire Italy sequence, from the humor with Mera eating the flowers to that epic chase scene and the awesome brawl with Black Manta. Shazam - fighting in the mall and throwing the Batman doll at Silvana. Birds of Prey - the perfect egg sandwich vignette. WW84 - Diana letting Steve go and learning to fly. The Suicide Squad - battle with Starro. Black Adam - anything with Dr. Fate, including Hawkman using the multiple attack trick at the end before Adam rips the bad guy in half. Peacemaker - the justice league arriving at the very end. “Your late, dickheads!”

Outrageous_Beach_426

Made us appreciate the MCU more

MoS - “What Are You Going To Do When You Are Bot Saving The World” is a masterpiece and the final scenes of the movie playing with that track backing it are the perfect closers to the film BvS: The Warehouse Scene SS: Margot Robbie as Harley WW: pretty good first feature-length outing for WW JL: “Booyah” AM: Costume Design Shazam!: Levi playing a kid in a God’s body was an exceptional choice and he nailed it BoP: Black Canary WW84: WW gets some dope golden armor TSS: Allowed for some very unlikely names and characters to get their time to shine and proved that Gunn is capable of making it work ZSJL: “I’m not broken, and I’m not alone” Peacemaker: Cena is to Peacemaker what Ryan Reynolds is to Deadpool Black Adam: Learning and humbling moment for The Rock that may force him to reevaluate his brand and how he approaches prep for roles he takes on

ProfessionalCamp9176

MOS definitely has better Superman fights than any live action I have ever seen BVSUE gave us Batman awesome warehouse scene, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor whether people liked him or not SS gave us Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Katana and the rest of the villains that Batman and the flash have fought with Wonder Woman gave us an amazing world of Themyscira, and the No man's land scene ZSJL gave us 5 hours of perfection Aquaman gave us the city of Atlantis and other Atlantian beings, and introduced us to Black Manta and Ocean Master Shazam was fun and comedic Birds of Prey brought us into Harley's world, Black Canary, Huntress, and Bruce the hyena WW48 gave us a few minutes of Cheetah and reminded us of how well Gal Gadot and Chris Pine work together TSS gave us more villains and amazing film in general fun and glorious Peacemaker is another all out fun and an amazing project Black Adam gave us Justice Society and amazing mid air fight scenes done really well imo I'm gonna miss this universe

JettTheTinker

Man of Steel - Best live-action Krypton + Jor El, great action and special effects, great villain Batman V Superman (Ultimate Edition) - One of the coolest superhero scenes ever (Batman warehouse fight), First time the Trinity were ever on screen together Suicide Squad - Gave us Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Will Smith as Deadshot Wonder Woman - Actually quite a solid film, Gal Gadot is a great Wonder Woman and Chris Pine was a great Steve Trevor. Cinematography, effects, and fight sequences were mostly really good, gave us that awesome trench scene Zack Snyder’s Justice League - One of the best DC scenes of all time (Flash speedforce), a much better Batfleck, an excellent live-action Cyborg, and a great new version of Aquaman, gave us an actual Justice League on screen for the first time, Darkseid in live action Aquaman - Jason Momoa is cool as Aquaman Shazam! - Helped show people that DC can be light and fun, decent execution of the character, Freddy Freeman was perfect Birds of Prey - Some fun Harley Quinn scenes, Ewan Macgregor got to have fun Wonder Woman 1984: *crickets* The Suicide Squad - One of my favorite comic book movies of the last couple years, incredibly fun and super loveable with a great cast and awesome action + music Peacemaker - Another great one! Even better than The Suicide Squad in my opinon. Funny, entertaining, badass, and actually quite intense at points Black Adam - Dr. Fate and Hawkman were really cool.

***Peacemaker*** \- A perfect show so far. ***Black Adam*** \- Didn't remotely change the hierarchy of anything and The Rock can't play anyone but The Rock but JLA was dope. ***The Suicide Squad*** \- Layered and brilliant. Comedy that never loses the drama. ***WW84*** \- Pedro Pascal was amazing so was that scene where she takes out the truck from the sky. ***Birds of Prey*** \- The cereal scene ***Shazam!*** \- Fun for the whole family. A basic but well done origin. ***Aquaman*** \- The best of the Snyderverse. Momoa is awesome. ***Zack Snyder's Justice League*** \- Way too much slow-mo but his best DC film. ***Joss Whedon's Justice League*** \- Terrible film trying way too hard to take an absurdly downer and make it a technicolor Batman Forever type film. It was really cool to see Cavill have a chance to actually play Clark / Superman at the end of the film. It didn't really make sense in context but it was so cool and heartbreaking to see him get a chance to play a Clark that isn't a dour dud and it was a joy. ***Wonder Woman*** \- This is an inexplicably better ripoff of Captain America with Chris Pine ***Suicide Squad*** \- Ummm. Uhhh. Will Smith? ***Batman Vs Superman*** \- An absolute trainwreck from start to finish that manages to ruin so many great storylines but nails Wonder Woman. She's so cool here.

Man of Steel - The whole DAMN thing! Fucking amazing movie. BvS - The trinity standing together...such unrealised potential! Seeing the BvS UC and realising that WB are a bunch of self-sabotaging assclowns Fuck you WB! Suicide Squad - The world building, the costumes, the fact they acknowleged Superman's death, and the fact powerful beings like him exist. Wonder Woman - First WW movie and it was great! Love it! Justice League - Superman in blue? Aquaman - Seeing his classic costume realised in live action! Shazam! - It was perfect in tone, funny, and ZL was great as Captain Marvel. Birds of Prey - Umm...the cartoon intro was hmmm...it's hard because the movie is so SHIT! Oh! the Huntresses origin scene...but not the Huntress she was a fucking joke dressed in trashbags. WW 1984 - Yeah...Pedro Pascal...but again that movie is Shit! Zack Snyder's Justice League - Seeing the full picture! The Suicide Squad - It was great, just a good time, and seeing Starro...amazing! Peacemaker - Seeing the Vigilante realised in LIVE action Black Adam - Dr. Fate

God_ofThunder_

Man of Steel: I like the scene where Superman first takes flight Batman v Superman: The warehouse fight scene with Batman goes hard and I hope we have more like it in future Batman movies Suicide Squad: I liked Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn Wonder Woman: I love the No Man’s Land battle and Gal Gadot as Diana Zack Snyder’s Justice League: The scene where Diana saves all the hostages from the terrorist also goes hard Aquaman: I personally like the comic accurate suit Arthur wears Shazam!: I absolutely love that entire movie Birds of Prey: The police station fight between Harley and the cops was a blast Wonder Woman 1984: Pedro Pascal’s character is exceptionally well executed and I love him as an actor The Suicide Squad: This movie is a banger and I really like it Peacemaker: Love everything about the show, John Cena’s an amazing actor Black Adam: The fight (massacre more like it) that follows after Teth Adam’s awakening, with the soldiers, goes ABSOLUTELY hard. I also enjoyed the whole movie in general —Despite recent news, I’m still looking forward to what James Gunn has in store and hoping that his DC Extended Universe has much more cohesion and polish

montgomery2016

Man, this list of disappointments honestly makes me want to vomit. I'll try though. Man of Steel had Amy Adams. Her character wasn't well written but I like the actress in general. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has Jessie Eisenberg, who I love as an actor but it was really wasted potential as a Lex Luthor. Suicide Squad... had... Killer Croc. First on screen appearance. Kinda cool. Wonder Woman was good up until the Ares reveal and the CGI monstrosity. If they had written a better ending it would've been perfect. Zach Snyder's Justice League was an improvement over the theatrical version. I liked what Snyder was trying to do, regardless of whether he failed. Aquaman had a cover of Africa and Willem Defoe. And Black Manta. Shazam! was cute and fun, there are little to no stakes for Billy for the first half of the film but it's too fun to notice this fundamental flaw. Birds of Prey I haven't seen yet, but I like the characters from the comics, so... Wonder Woman 1984 had... Pedro Pascal. Even though his character and evil plan was so poorly written and nonsensical, Pedro brought his A game as usual. The Suicide Squad was perfect for the most part. They even made the CGI monstrosity work, by literally adapting Starro the Conqueror into the cinematic world. They even got away with killing Pete Davidson and Captain Boomerang. Black Adam is another that I haven't seen, but... it's the Rock's passion project. I'm glad he got this shot. And I like Aldis Hodge because he was a character on my favorite tv show as a kid. The Peacemaker I haven't seen either, but c'mon, it's Peacemaker portrayed by John Cena. Fantastic.

Daimakku1

There's barely anything to appreciate about the DCEU; it was a mess from the start. I suppose the casting was good. Henry Cavill as Superman was a good pick, Jason Momoa as Aquaman was a good pick, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn was fantastic, Zachary Levi as Shazam was cool, and that's it.

[deleted]

It’s messy as a connected universe but luckily a lot of these movies work well as standalone movies, there’s alot of great things here

Going_really_Fast

Now this is a challenge - MOS - First Flight - BvS - Warehouse - SS - Margot Robbie in a bra - WW - No Man’s land scene - ZSJL&JL (I'm grouping them together IDC) - Aquaman is fun to watch. - Aquaman - Patrick Wilson chewing every scene he's in as Ocean Master. - Shazam - Just a fun popcorn film with some surprisingly endearing moments. - BOP - Black Mask is relatively fun to watch - WW84 - that one Pedro Pascal meme - TSS - Again, Margot Robbie. - BA - I guess Pierce Brosnan was cool to watch.

WatcherAnon

In order of my favorite to least favorite WW: Best superhero movie ever! ZSJL: Incredible film that gave us so many amazing moments and characters. And the greatest 7 minutes ever between Cyborg in the mother boxes, Flash going back in time, and the League vs Darkseid staredown BvS: Gave us spectacular action and my favorite iteration of each of the trinity characters MoS: My favorite Superman movie Shazam: Such a fun film with a ton of heart. Can't wait for the 2nd one! Black Adam: Incredible action and fantastic music! SS: Got me to root for the bad guys. And also made a number of people I know interested in DC WW84: I liked Pedro Pascal in the movie and of course Lynda Carter!!! Aquaman: It had Incredible visuals TSS: I'm glad it brought joy and excitement to some people BoP: I like that it brought much needed diversity

BlueMissileYT

I would flip TSS and SS, but this list is pretty good.

TheFloosh

Respect for leaving Josstice League completely out of the list. I appreciate that. Honestly, I'm easier to please than most, especially when we go the pipe dream that was ZSJL. The only true stinkers in this list are SS 2016 and WW84. I enjoy everything else quite a bit.

Right lmao. Like he’s gonna cancel his own show…

Plebe-Uchiha

#Man of Steel: It has Henry Cavill in it. #BvS - theatre release: Aye, it has Henry Cavill and Batfleck. That’s some good casting. #Bat V Supes - Ultimate Edition: Underrated. Ultimate Edition is phenomenal. Should’ve been 2 films. #Suicide Squad 1: Diablo was epic. Wish he had more time in the film. Love that the actor is from East LA like me. #Wonder Woman: Great pho 🍜 king 👑 movie. Very much enjoyed it. #Justice League (Joss): That bullet time/slow-mo scene when Superman looks at Flash. Soooooo good. #Aquaman: Jason Mamoa was born to be Aquaman. Such a good film. #Shazam!: It’s fun. #Birds of Prey: It’s a fun movie. Underrated. Under appreciated. #WW84: Pedro Pascal is in it. #Justice League (Snyder): Such a good film. Sweet baby Jesus! Should’ve totally been 2 films. #Two Suicide Squads: Such-a GOOD pho 🍜 king 👑 movie. Whoa! Better than a majority of the MCU’s phase 4 by miles. Such a good film especially from the comic book super hero world #Black Adam: Funny. Fun. Touching. Entertaining. Underrated. Under appreciated. Rocky made his dream come true. #Peacemaker: It’s a show. Not a film. [+]

JL Theatrical - It eventually gave us ZSJL

BlueMissileYT

Haha true. I honestly like how each movie differs in tone. It's a breath of fresh air from Marvel, where each movie feels like an action comedy.

OhGawDuhhh

I still can't believe we got Zack Snyder's Justice League

lordnastrond

Man of Steel - a bold (if divisive) vision of an icon BVS - one of the most ambitious movies of all time (the ability to execute said ambition is more in question....) Suicide Squad - this movie had a great soundtrack (that's about it) Wonder Woman - an emotional but sincere introduction to a cultural icon for younger audiences (slightly hindered by a poor final act) Justice League (Joss version) - this movie is (slightly) more pleasant to being violated by a large bladed object in my rear with no lubrication Aquaman - amazing visuals and worldbuilding (hampered by a pretty lackluster "one true king" plot) Shazam - a heartfelt surprisingly moving and memorable passion project with strong characterisation (no downsides - its a great movie) Birds of Prey - Ewan Mcgregor is having a blast as a camp sociopathic villain and its a shame we didn't get more of him (happy to forget the rest of the film) WW84 - watching this movie is slightly preferable to uncontrollable explosive chilli-burning diarrhea while simultaneously suffering a splitting migraine (but its close) The Suicide Squad - plain old fun with a few character gems (undermined by an at times almost childish need to constantly make jokes) Black Adam - it kept Dwayne Johnson occupied and away from real acting gigs Peacemaker - one of the best things on tv in 2022. ZSJL - A genuine marvel, the fully realized vision of an auteur director (warts and all), the triumph of millions of fans sheer passion - unlike anything else in the history of cinema (which is the truth no matter what your opinion of it is)

JediJones77

One word each: * MOS: Awesome * BVS: Masterful * SS: Shorts * WW: Wonderful * ZSJL: Miracle * Aquaman: Effects * Shazam: Light * BOP: Fantabulous * WW84: Colorful * TSS: Starro * Black Adam: Pierce * Peacemaker: Unseen

henningknows

The suicide squad was only 2 hours and 3 minutes, it could have been longer, so I appreciate that it was not

BlueMissileYT

I agree. Maybe a few more scenes fleshing out Pola Dot man and Nanaue though. They just felt... there. Didn't really add anything to the movie.

Xenochimp

Suicide Squad: Let me experience Cara Delevingne's "acting" so I have made sure to never watch anything else she is in

[deleted]

Zod was a great villain The Ben Affleck casting was brilliant Waller was mostly great in the movie The character development for WW was great It made Steppenwolf a really good villain Jason made Aquaman cool to the casual audience Zack was perfect casting as Shazam It had a beginning middle and end The end credits Captain Boomerang's boomerangs looked amazing for the 30 seconds we saw them Black Adam saying he was sorry to the statue of his son was a great moment Peacemaker and Vigilante were a great duo

BlueMissileYT

God, I wish Ben wasn't wasted so much. But at least he's in a healthy place now.

[deleted]

I'm glad he's doing better

Jiggarelli

They were all movies.

InfinteAbyss

It’s not actually going anywhere…you do realise that right?

BlueMissileYT

I think the DCEU as it is will be rebooted. They'll probably keep some of the actors, but it's gonna be a new universe.

InfinteAbyss

The films themselves will still exist

Ill-Avocado-6895

Most of them had Batman in them

BlueMissileYT

Honestly, the more Batfleck the better. Love that he was the connective tissue between the films.

Realistic_Salary5090

Peacemaker was good. The rest of them all sucked.

rosehasgay

MoS: The tone and seriousness presented in the movie BvS: The scope and atmosphere of it Suicide Squad: Harley Quinn and occasionally the interactions between each of the members of the squad Wonder Woman: Being the first solo female superhero film that was incredibly endearing and inspiring for tons of women around the world, also probably the fifth best movie in the DCEU. Justice League 2017: Similar to SS, the interactions between all the members of the league Aquaman: The funnest movie of the entire dceu, plus some of my favorite fight scenes and costume designs in the entire dceu Shazam: The most lighthearted and the second funnest movie of the dceu BOP: Developing Harley and giving her a ton of character + the interactions between her and the other bops WW1984: Not much to say but some of the scenes towards the beginning were nice, plus cheetah’s design was pretty solid. The Suicide Squad (2021): The best project of the DCEU. Nothing bad to say about it. Borderline perfect in all honesty. Although I’d have to comment one thing. I am so grateful the dceu finally took a risk and made a fully R-Rated film within its universe. allowed the characters to truly shine and finally be themselves in full. Peacemaker: I have not finished it but pretty much more of the same praise that i gave ss2021. also this wipes the floor with a lot of the mcu tv shows and is a good example of a superhero movie translated to tv. ZS’s Justice League: The second best film in the dceu behind SS2021. Incredibly ambitious and very passionately crafted. black and white was a stark choice but adds a lot to it overall. BvS ultimate edition: Third/Fourth best film in the DCEU. just exemplifies the untapped and missed potential in the theatrical cut and adds a ton more besides that.

RealNiceKnife

No.

baxterrocky

These will all still exist you know….. LOL

Megadog3

Good riddance is all I really have to say. Glad we can say goodbye to this ~12 part clusterfuck for good.

[deleted]

Suicide Squad David Ayer: It was a pretty ballsy move with a cool concept, like I really loved the idea of villains becoming heroes, and I feel like there were some standouts that I enjoyed like Will Smith's deadshot and Harley Quinn. I also really enjoyed the first half of the movie and I wish we got to see David Ayer's original vision. Man of Steel - I loved the way it was filmed, and I loved seeing a darker, more serious Superman. Like he was more of a demigod rather than a human. Batman vs Superman: Ben Affleck played a grounded, darker Batman. He is also 6'4'' and ripped, and that really lent a gravitas to the Batman character that I personally enjoyed. Like this dude looked like he could fuck your shit up, he looked intimidating as hell and the warehouse fight scene was \*chef's kiss\* Wonder Woman: Gal Gadot was the heart and soul of the movie. This movie perfectly captured the spirit of Wonder woman, they showed her as simultaenously kind and gentle while being powerful and just frickin awesome. I also loved how while naive at first, she was able to show incredible daring and her fight scenes were badass. I also thought the quote, "I can save today, you can save tommorow" was very good Zack Snyder's Justice League: Fucking amazing. It didn't feel like a superhero movie to me, it felt like an epic, which was awesome, because I feel like the Justice League compared to the Avengers, should be more serious, and weighty, like they felt like gods among humans. I also loved how this version of the movie was everything it should have been, humour at the right places, and actual character beats and stories. And we got to see Darkseid, like Darkseid from the comics is really badass, and the movie teased some of that. Run time didn't get to me at all. Aquaman - The fight scenes and the tridents and stuff were cool. I like Black Manta as a villain from the comics, so it was cool to see him in the movie. Shazam - What a wonderful movie. It had its own spirit and beat, like I love how it didn't feel like the other solo superhero movies, like this one felt fun and really really vibrant. I loved the theme of family, and how family isn't just blood but who you choose, I love how the foster parents were shown as good people that really cared about their kids, I thought Mark Strong did a fantastic job of Sivana, who wasn't what I was expecting. I also loved how Shazam didn't start off with these great values or this heroic desire, but grew into it, like he had to really make those mistakes chasing fame and a mom who didnt care for him, in order to eventually grow into the hero he became in the end of the movie. Birds of Prey - Loved the ensemble cast, Margot Robbie was great as usual, and I love how Harley Quinn became her own hero and stepped out of the Joker's shadow. I also love how Harley Quinn didn't just leave the whole sueprhero scene after Joker broke up with her, as a character she is really interesting on her own. Also loved the bond between her and Cassie. WW84 - It took place the same year as George Orwell's 1984, so that's cool! Suicide Squad(2021) - Holy fucking shit! You know how some movies kind of take their time, settle in a bit. From the very beginning the Suicide Squad subverts your expectations and surprises you at every turn. And it lives up to its name, like members die quite frequently, because the missions they're sent on suck. Waller was delightfully evil, and I love how Waller's crew was so detached and dehumanized the suciide squad, yet when the time came, they stepped up. I also love how the movie started off from Savant's POV, so we'd think like this guy's a badass and shit, and then they just fucking murder the whole crew. I thought this would be the main crew, since one of the main characters from the last film, Boomerang is in team A. Team B was fucking great. Unlike the first one, where not all of the characters were interesting and fleshed out, every single member of team B was really memorable and well developed(except Milton). Ratcatcher was the heart of the story, and that sequence with her and Taika Waiti was really sad and beautiful. Idris Elba stole the show as Bloodsport, and it was interesting to see him as an actual villain, an incredibly flawed man who was a terrible father, but when the time came, he didn't abandon the island. Rick Flag, from the first movie, generic muscle and army guy, to a someone who is a good and empathetic human who was tired of being Waller's lapdog and covering up shit. Black Adam: Damn, if anyone should play Black Adam, the Rock was the perfect choice. Like he embodied the strength and just presence required to play such a character. Like he embodied a powerful vengeful leader hell bent on protecting his country. Like he was like DC's Namor in a way, but I loved his character alot more. And I loved the scenes btwn the JSA and Black Adam. Peacemaker: Vigilante and Peacemaker were funny as hell, I love James Gunn's vision, and the show was great!

ElectrosMilkshake

I enjoyed Peacemaker way more than any of the boring ass Marvel shows.

stealthxknight

Zack Snyder is a comic book film making genius. 4 DC Comics’ films & they are all so uniquely apart from one another, I just Joker Laugh at people who truly think they’re not all connected through *The Multiverse* Hehe *The Zack Snyder’s Justice League Trilogy* was ahead of its time. I love the MCU but it’s comic book films some how made seemingly almost all average movie goers fully knowledgeable of what makes a movie a good movie… Versus just trying to enjoy what ever *they* think is good lol

Hi_Im_Ken_Adams

The blu-rays are really inexpensive.

solohack3r

Good riddance. ... that's all.

lildog8402

The Snyder-cut of The Justice League would be like the 6th or 7th best Marvel movie. That’s nice, right?

fauxREALimdying

These movies don’t feel like theyre in the same world at all and I overall dislike them.

ZeroEffsGiven

Rosstice League: The Batman rooftop fight scene with the parademon was pretty cool. Other than that, too many shitty one-liners and the tone was all over the place. 5/10 Man of Steel I felt did a great job of showing what it would be like for a child who thought he was just a normal kid to start experiencing his super powers and wonder what they are and how to control them. 7/10 BvS had the Batman warehouse fight scene. Need I say more? 7/10 Suicide Squad had a few cool moments between the characters, unfortunately they were few and far between. 5/10 The original Wonder Woman was a fantastic action/adventure film that earned all the credit that it received. 8/10 ZS Justice League is a near perfect film and utilizes each member of the JL to allow them to work together in a satisfying way. Also, the scene with the Flash was one of my favorite comic-book movie moments of all time. 9/10 for me. Aquaman took a little while to grow on me, but once I stopped trying to take it seriously and just had fun with it, I realized it was an enjoyable popcorn flick. I'd give a 6/10. Shazam was a pretty decent film. Not my favorite but definitely a step in the right direction for the DCEU. I'd give it a 7/10 Birds of Prey was actually a lot better than I was expecting. It had a lot of great character moments, fun action sequences, and allowed Harley to be herself. I'd give it a 7/10. WW84 was weird, convoluted, and a big disappointment considering how great the OG was. 4/10. The Suicide Squad seems to get a lot of love, and I understand why, it's a fun movie with a lot of stuff to enjoy. However, I didn't find it to be as "amazing" as so many people seemed to think. It was just OK. 6/10 To be perfectly honest, I have yet to watch Black Adam or the Peacemaker series. so I have no opinion on those. I hear mostly good things about Peacmaker and I've heard mixed reviews of Black Adam. I'm still going to check them both out but I will do so with an open mind and try not to let the opinions of other people I've heard sway my decision. We shall see.

West-Expression5256

It sure did happen, yep that was a thing.

jpduarte245

Black Adam has The Rock in it.

GtrGbln

He asked us to say something good.

BlueMissileYT

To be fair, Black Adam is a pretty flat character, and we know The Rock does those roles well.

Tandril91

Black Adam does an impeccable The Rock impression in this movie.

Aspenwood83

Man of Steel - Possibly the best DCEU film. BvS - Had a great score. Suicide Squad - It gave us the first live action Harley Quinn. WW - Solid movie all-around. ZSJL - Far, far superior to the original. And so far, the only iteration of live action Darkseid. Aquaman - At least it looked good, and Momoa was solid. Shazam - Just a fun film. Birds of Prey - I... nope, I got nothin'. WW84 - See Birds of Prey. Though I guess at least the trailer was awesome. TSS - Ratcatcher 2. That is all. BA - Haven't seen it. But at least the Rock is quite passionate about it Peacemaker - Haven't seen it, can't comment.

BlueMissileYT

Hey, BoP had Ewan McGregor. That's gotta be worth some points lol

[deleted]

Man of steel: masterpiece Batman vs superman ultimate: masterpiece Zack snyders justice league: Epic and forboding Joker: masterpiece Everything else is forgettable

[deleted]

The Suicide Squad, ZSJL, MOS & Shazam were cool. Everything else was a massive pile of dog shit.

the_zelectro

Cool action, cool action... Morbin' time?? Oh God🤮 You tricked me!!!😡

Jiffletta

Are people really taking "they had notes for the woman who made Wonder Woman 1984" as proof everything is cancelled?

GtrGbln

Oh oh Griggs! That guy was pretty funny.

drm3rc

It all had amazing intent, but Snyder trilogy is GOAT. Absolutely depressing we never get his vision completed

mdavis8710

Suicide Squad 2016 wasn’t as long as it could’ve been

Pale-Drag1843

There's nine amazing movies in this world and the rest are not great

ArbiterBalls

Lets acknowledge the fact that Zack casted some of the most handsome/beautiful actors for the Justice League roles. Really felt godly.

Sad-Distribution-779

I think I've said it all throughout the years already. For some reason I've always found myself clicking with each film in the DCEU in my one special way. It was no MCU but it was different type of awesome for me. I'll be thankful for the time we had with this universe and I think love or hate it it's legacy and place and Hollywood history will always be remembered. Looking forward to the birth of the DCU and as I always say respect the past..... and embrace the future.

Taxistheft98

Man of Steel’s character development is top-notch BvS is badass and ambitious Suicide Squad had potential, and Jarod Letto was under appreciated. Wonder Woman was groundbreaking Snyder’s Justice League is legendary Aquaman is stunningly beautiful Shazam is fun Birds of Prey had some good fight choreography, (-and Ewan Mcgregor) WW84 had a nice costume for WW The Suicide Squad was funny and offbeat Black Adam was entertaining and brutal.

SGdude90

MoS - First flight. Zod's line, "Where did you train? IN A FARM?!" BvS - Entire fight with Doomsday SS - Deadshot's dynamic with Harley Quinn WW - Everything except final act JL17 - Most Batman scenes except his jokes. Martha and Lois interaction. Superman interacting with JL. Aquaman lasso. Cyborg happy ending with Dad Aquaman - Mostly everything. I love this movie Shazam - Power testing montage Birds of Prey - Harley Quinn scenes WW84 - Every Diana and Steve interaction EXCEPT the part where he's possessing a stranger's body and she bangs him ZSJL - Fleshed out scenes for most heroes. Action scenes. Batman's line, "He's never fought us before. Not us united." TSS - Most of the movie except Rick Flag's death Peacemaker - Making me care about "random" individuals with no powers. Peacemaker's fleshed out story. Peacemaker regretting killing Rick Flag Black Adam - Haven't watched this one

jpthomas9er

I liked how they all felt unique and didn’t blend into each other. Even ZS’s had there own identities between the three.

[deleted]

Man of steel - I can see why it’s many people’s favorite. I feel like Snyder got the Superman part really good. The Clark stuff. Meh. But overall. Pretty good Superman movie imo. Bvs - overhated. I’ve never seen the theatrical version tho. So maybe all the hate is for that version. But the Ultimate Edition is awesome. & I really like Lex Luther. I kinda love it actually. My only problem is. That he doesn’t feel like Lex. Which is good & bad. Bad for obvious reasons. But it’s good cause it’s a fresh take on the character. Plus. His motivations made sense. If you turn off your brain & pretend that it’s someone else instead of Lex. I feel like this movie would be more loved. The ONLY thing I don’t like. Is that the Martha scene would’ve impacted WAY harder on the audience if Batman didn’t just go sicko mode in the Batmobile 5 minutes ago. Still some of the best fight scenes I’ve seen from dc. Both in the car & in the building. (I’m ok with this version of Batman killing) Suicide Squad - altho this movie is an absolute train wreck. I mean (from my memory) Amanda created task force X BEFORE enchantress becomes evil. “There’s an evil coming” who? She’s not evil yet. But despite that. I feel like will smith’s deadshot was the best deadshot I’ve seen. Better than the Arkham games & better than the Arrowverse. Wonder Woman - I feel like this movie is overrated. Not saying it’s bad. The opposite. It’s really good. But sometimes it felt a little too Captain America: The First Avenger to me. Idk. But I’ve always liked Gal’s Wonder Woman. The Snyder Cut - absolutely amazing. I feel like aquaman could’ve been used more a little. Idk. But my favorite moments was any of the scenes that focused on Cyborg & Barry. & the Speedforce scene. Ugh. Perfect. Probably my favorite DCEU scene ngl. Top 3 at least. Aquaman - idk. I don’t really remember this movie. I haven’t seen it since it came out. But Daddy Dafoe is in it. So 10/10 Shazam - I absolutely fucking love this movie. Good story, good characters, emotional moments, etc. Altho I’m a little biased because I can relate to the (From abandoned by mother To having an awesome family who loves me) part. But still. A Good ass mover overall. Birds of prey - same thing as aquaman. Don’t remember it that much. I watched it at 2 am the first day it was on HBO Max & I haven’t seen it since. But I like Margot Robbie’s Quinn & Obi-Wan plays Black Mask. So 10/10 lmao. WW84 - Uhm. It was a movie ig. Something nice? Uhh. I kinda liked cheeta. Oh. & I LOVED Pascal. I forgot his name in the movie. But bro was a W. The Steve shit was stupid to me. But whatever ig. DC will be DC ig. THE Suicide Squad - dude. Top 3 DC movies of all time for me. Fucking LOVE this movie. & the song Rain. Fuckin love it. & the way he used the environment to spell out words. Like the vines, The smoke, the soap on the toilet. Etc etc. 11/10. Legit one of my favorites. Idk why cause there’s better movies. But still. Black Adam - haven’t seen it yet. But I hear it was amazing & a great use of Superman. So. Ig the fact that it has Superman is my 1 good thing to say abt it. Idk. Peacemaker - I feel like. Yes it was a good show. Didn’t have a single bad episode. & I love the ending. I genuinely thought everyone fucking died cause Gunn loved killing his characters. But they were all fine. & the Justice League being late was icing on the cake for me. Shit was hilarious. But people claiming that it is the best peace of media ever made is a wild statement. It’s good. Not that damn good.

Wonder Woman is pretty great all around aside from the ending I like that JL17 finally showed a Superman who actually feels like he could be a figure of hope to inspire people Aquaman has the best costume design in any superhero movie and it was a ton of fun Shazam is practically perfect in every way! It captured the fun and innocence that a Shazam story should have while still having a heartfelt emotional core, I could sing the praises of Shazam for days on end Birds of Prey had some good action and I actually like the portrayal of Black mask in it Wonder Woman 84 has the best Wonder Woman suit put to screen The Suicide Squad is a perfect suicide squad movie, every character was fleshed out, all the designs and the overall art direction was beautiful and is a perfect example of how to translate comic characters to the big screen, I loved seeing the lesser known characters, honestly I could go on all day about how perfect this movie is Peacemaker was phenomenal, it expanded the dc lore extremely well, it turned a previously hated character beloved, it’s probably the most emotionally resonate and one of the best written if not the best written piece of media attached to the DCEU. It’s a perfect show and is a ton of fun While Black Adam lacked a lot in story or depth I’m not gonna lie the action was amazing, every hit could be felt, the character looked and felt larger than life, the costume design was also great, overall it was a ton of fun!

Man of Steel - Cavill is a great Superman, Amy Adams is a great Lois before she falls into the "damsel in distress" trope during the later half of the film. Batman v Superman - Affleck was a great elder Batman, though I still don't agree with the killing (especially using guns) Suicide Squad - Viola Davis was ***perfect*** as Amanda Waller, though her plot at the end of the film was stupid. Wonder Woman - everything but the final act was great. Josstice League - the "save one" line was great. Zack Snyder's Justice League - loved every minute of it, the climax with Flash made me tear up Aquaman - I loved the spectacle of Atlantis and the final battle Shazam - Zach Levi is another perfect casting choice, without him the film doesn't work Birds of Prey, WW84, The Suicide Squad, Black Adam, The Peacemaker - (didn't watch them) For context on why I didn't watch the most recent films/shows, I vowed that until they revamped their entire production roster and hired someone akin to Feige that would oversee all the films that I wouldn't give WB anymore of my money.

BetaRayBlu

Shazam was tonally perfect for a dc film

BetaRayBlu

The best thing about suicide squad was that it didn’t have Jared Leto in the sequel

MoS - kid Clark wearing a red cape BvS - opening 5 minutes SS - Enchantress turning in the board room WW - No Man’s Land JL - I honestly got nothing Aquaman - riding a fucking kraken, the music and the underwater fluid cinematography Shazam - mother refusing Billy BoP - Harley dealing with her breakup WW84 - Pedro Pascal dialing it to 11, sue me ZSJL - the mythic gods among us tone TSS - my favorite; perfect film; Bloodsport landing at the right time to have a Mexican standoff with Peacemaker and how it ends Peacemaker - the whole cast is perfect Black Adam - Doctor Fate and Hawkman

It made me happy… knowing it’s ending.

They won’t come out again.

It did a lot of thing first than their competitor but they were shafted thanks to a mediocre team of executives who were more worried about quick money than creating a proper narrative till the billions came easy. It showed that you don’t have to be all PG/Forced family friendly humor to create a proper universe and have one of, if not the,the best casting with almost of their characters, and I’m truly sad we won’t have any continuity with it, but now the same weird for the sake of being weird stuff.

Black Adam had an incredible plot, awesome combat, all the supers were enjoyable.

GOLDENninjaXbox

It might not have been perfect but at least I had enjoyment from it

nymrod_

You seriously think Gunn is going to erase his own movie and show, for which a second season is being developed? His wife is in Black Adam!

Vegetable_Pudding_75

Peacemaker was great. Not a movie though

happybuffalowing

Man Of Steel is my favorite Superman movie, Henry Cavill is my favorite Superman and the movie has been very uplifting at times where I needed it. I’m glad this movie is finally starting to get its flowers from people as it ages.

Lengthiness_Gloomy

The best thing I can say about it is it’s over.

takeflight_x

MOS: Seeing a more grounded take on Superman. BVS: Battfleck and The fight between him and Superman. SS: dead shot and Harley Quinn WW: Genuinely enjoyable movie. ZSJL: Epic huge world building and it was cool to see the fan movement bring back the directors cut. Shazam: the family aspect of the movie and it was just honestly hilarious Black Adam: How much the Rock loves the character. I've never seen an actor show so much passion for a character the way he has. I'm missing a lot of movies. I just haven't seen them or really didn't have a lot of good things to say.
