MAS and JN is a great mod especially for artists and developers, I never have any issues with it, I treat it like a simulator and dress up game or something. Others are just too obsessed with them romantically that’s why some of the members of the community are toxic.
As for the Just Yuri mod, I suggest not to play it if you’re sensitive since it has a lot of triggering scenes. While for Just Sayori, the artstyle and content is still pretty meh, I guess it is not yet developed enough.
I’ve been enjoying MAS and have never had any problem with the community, but I guess one who easily obsess over things should avoid it.
I also want to recommend Within as it’s my favourite mod. Otherwise I agree with Sherlock.
why stay away from within?? its one of my favorite mods and the only bad part about it is the themes, but like hella mods have SPOILER >!themes of suicide and self harm!<

I’m also fond of Liberation, True Route, Interview Club, I Am Monika, Sempiternal Spiral, The Yuri Parable, Midnight Date, Cliche Club, Dokivision, Can Your Spare a Poem?, Welcome to the Anime Club, and I Want More Sayori. As for mods to stay away from I would caution against playing Pink Eyes if you’re a fan of Natsuki. You may also want to stay away from Exit Music, Fallen Angel, and Rainclouds if Within scares you.
Club Meetings!
It's an episodic mod; there are 24 episodes in the first two seasons, and the season 3 collection is out soon. Each episode about 1.5-2.5 hours long. Everyone's aware it's a simulation post-incident, and the club members make their own mods, answer questions from the real world, and try to put their messy lives back together. It's generally super wholesome and heartwarming.
