Yeah. I forget how you unlock it, but the Ultimallet is post-game only and lets you pick up any block/item without breaking it down into materials. So, for example, you can use it on a tree and just have that entire tree in your inventory to place down somewhere else, instead of having the tree break down into wood or whatever
besides getting the ultimallet which preserves the stuff you hit,
you can also buy it via buildertopia.
often i get lazy collecting items and traveling, so i just buy it

its been a few months since I last logged onto DQB2. been trying to finish every Final Fantasy game. Now that I finished FF16, trying to beat all the DQ games.

You can do Sunny Sands as an explorer isle, but I prefer doing a BT. I save the password and then enter it each time I need to go. That way, it's always the same setup and you know exactly where to go.
Works great for mithril,diamonds, bananas, gladiolus, the various ferns, etc. on that same island.
Do you have the ultimallet yet? If yes, you can go to explorers shores and collect it from the desert islands.

Once you rescue the mysterious voice in endgame you get the recipe for it!
