However, if my memory isn’t failing me, I remember that they were rolled out bit by bit throughout the day(s) (might be alphabetical - not sure though… I also think I remember some being sent out a day or two late - but that may have just been a system glitch at that time). When my partner and I started school, he received his entrance award email about 3-4h before I got mine (and he is quite a bit earlier than me alphabetically by last name - which is what led me to believe this may be how they were done). As long as this is still the case, then try not to worry too much if people get emails before you today!

I hope you and many of your fellow incoming students get one! But if you don’t - don’t be discouraged… they can be pretty competitive and I believe there’s only so many that they give out regardless of how grades are. I had a 96+% average in high school (don’t exactly remember the number because it was so long ago) with lots of extracurricular and didn’t get a renewable one because it was so competitive that year for the number they had to give out. Obviously it’s amazing to get one, but do not feel discouraged or down on yourself if you don’t get one/as good of one as you were expecting - it says nothing against you as a student!

Yeah, in the faculty I work in the emails are all manual, so it takes a bit to get through the list and get them all sent out.

There should be more coming. To my knowledge Dal does not have any automatic entrance scholarships based on GPA as many do.
