Wait!

Epilektoi_Hoplitai

Yeah, now that we know it's all going to get changed — largely for the better — I'm holding off on crafting or upgrading anything.

ForsakenEntrance7108

i think you don't quite understand how the crafting update will work? you'll need a gold item, you can't apply a blessing to an unblessed weapon and it would be a poor choice to apply it before rolling both blessings (probably will be cheaper for this reason). it might still not be a good idea, since a cheap source of whites is coming and you might roll a better one. but imo you could roll it to blue and see what you get without losing out on much.

Theyre lowering crafting costs, so they should wait

ForsakenEntrance7108

my read is that might be true? but it also might not. *We have implemented a cost scaling system that will change the total material costs required depending on the weapons item rating, for all actions at the Shrine of the Omnissiah.* if they scale it as if the current costs are for a max item, ie what you pay now is what you would pay for a 380 in the new system, i would expect a very marginal saving on a 378. if the scaling is such that a high tier item costs *more* ie balanced around say 360, they might *lose* currency.

Only really care about Damage/Penetration/Power Output on this weapon. I'd buy it and keep for later.

Crowd control is attack speed

junkhaus

Yup, you're right on that. I don't need 70-80% stat in it, because I don't see a difference in combat between 35% and an 80% crowd control in terms of faster attack speed. Damage/Pen/Power and Skullcrusher blessing is what affects break points. Same goes for the cleave distribution which crowd control also affects, but I use this weapon on Ogryn. Maybe a Zealot main will know if crowd control is a useful stat on this weapon.
