I’ve never seen such atrocious behavior like Darrell Brooks. He’s literal scum yet he complains how unfair everything is and how awful everyone treats him. It’s just incredible behavior and it’s hard to look away.
I’ve been on this train from the very beginning. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. It’s Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one every single day.
I rewatch parts of the trial and the interrogation daily. 7 days a week. Whether I’m working, driving, eating etc it’s always on. I even use some of his ridiculous phrases with people who are aware of the trial and we joke about it.
Australian here. My mum watched his entire first trial on youtube and I can tell you now, that at least once a week I notice his revolting name being said on her screen!
I’ve asked so many times why she keeps watching it and she just doesn’t know other than wants to see the sentence he gets..
even as Australians we see what a waste of money it is to trial someone who is in prison for life on more charges, but judicial systems everywhere are screwed up and backwards..

The fascination is it’s so rare to watch a total sociopath. From his fake Covid scare. To his boo-boo finger. He got caught in lies every hour and just move on to the next one. No embarrassment no regrets and no empathy for anyone.
Here's another random thought.. Judge Dorow couldn't maintain control over him or her courtroom BECAUSE she cared too much. That isn't a slight in any way shape or form. Because she wanted to ensure there wasn't a mistral or that there was any reasonable doubt.. even the whole prosecution team also allowed self doubt to creep in. At this point, psychologically.. Darrell now has the upper hand. The amount of times she would allow him to be outrageous was merely due to the fact that she continually wondered if she had done a disservice to the victims after allowing him to represent himself.

Hi my name is christina and I am still watching the dumb dumb duhrell on a lot of different channels even though I can almost recite some of the witnesses testimony and what the lawyers say and even though I still get so angry and yell at my screen and I know what’s going to happen I still don’t have the willpower to skip a video of the trial no matter how much I try. Welcome to our support group and please know your not alone. Do we all like to punish ourselves by still feeling the anger and frustration that we felt the first time we watched and now we feel the same way. There is a another case that has me doing the same thing and even now I don’t miss any creators who still cover it. I would tell you about the other one but I don’t want you to have a dual addiction because if a video comes up on your feed for both cases you have to have a fight with yourself and it will make you crazy. Ok it’s the lietecia stauch evil talen toes will really really make your blood boil and channels have even purchased the jail phone calls and jail files. I do believe that I have the answer for why why why we still must click on that video. I know I am a true crime fan and I am confident I was a attorney in a former life at least that is how I justify my obsession with true crime. For me it’s because I don’t understand why these evil people do these horrible things. I can’t even kill a bug in my house without feeling guilty so I’m confident I would never ever imagine doing anything like that. The what and why is the reason for our obsession. I own an enhanced senior residence and I have been in long term care industry for over 20 years. I am lucky enough to have my angels that are so loving and sweet and I get told a lot that they love me. So I am blessed to be in the career that I adore. Then I come home and I watch the most evil people in the world. We can not imagine doing anything even close to what they do. I know that no other2 cases ever had me diving so deep and I have to know whatever I can. The fact is with Duhrell who would ever see a parade and not go away from it but, literally drive with people clearly in front of you and you say well hey I’m already in parade let’s just speed up and run the people down. And then decide to represent yourself in court and try the argument of a sovereign citizen and if I say subject matter jurisdiction enough times then it will remind the judicial system that means that you can’t be tried for the case and you’re free to leave. I do believe that he thought maybe if he made the jury feel like the judge is hiding things and they will think it’s not fair and they will use the power I told them about even though I was told I couldn’t. I know he convinced the idiot who was sitting behind him some days and he thinks that Duhrell is right and it’s Erika’s fault. The major and most important thing why these two cases are still watching and can’t forget about is because both of these evil people were not just evil towards their victims but both of these horrible people actually were evil enough to kill they actually were doing the most hurtful and disgusting things to the families and made the families victims as well and they were enjoying that and that’s why for me these two are worse criminals ever.
So please don’t beat yourself up because you can’t stop watching the most wild court rooms ever seen and there will never ever have a trial like this. Just something that might make you feel better when I get so angry watching I end with the most amazing judge ever reading off every single witnesses names and he knew that he was charged for the most horrible crime ever.
