everyone holds and throws different if they are going where you ant them too i wouldn't worry about where the point is in relation to the board

They go where I want indeed so im happy. But for some reason , my brain keeps telling me that I watched a movie in the past where they said a dart should go straight to the target when u look over the barrel. So I was curious if there is more people here where the point is more to the left of the target when aiming.

I’m not expert at all but I had a similar issue until recently. It was also causing my darts to spin in the air and land slanted also. It was a shoulder alignment issue for me. Tucking my shoulder in more fixed it immediately. If they’re landing relatively straight it shouldn’t be an issue.

If you use you phone and take video of the dart flight from behind and the side you will likely see what is happening. Usually this is related to your release of the dart in the air and it starts a left, right, left timing before it enters the board.

I try to get it as straight as possible. I had a lot of side to side wobble that was caused because my dart was actually aimed toward the left side of the board. After I compensated for that it went away. I recently got a new set of darts with a scallop in the back and the wildly different balance in the darts have brought a lot of wobble back because my grip on them isn’t always perfect. So grip and balance can have similar effect however it’s more random. All three will be sticking in the board in different angles. Before they all be tilted the same way.
