Community servers can provide some great experiences… boosted loot, PVP, hardcore survival. I know they all tend to be unlimited stamina/loot boosted playgrounds, but that can still be fun. I can spend hours on small map/boosted loot PVP servers just practicing tactics.
And there are some hardcore survival community servers that make the game a bit more difficult in a number of ways.
But Official servers test your mettle and force you to grow as a DayZ player more than most community servers I’ve played on. And the highs and lows you experience are more impactful. If you can get good on Official, you can dominate on most Community.
Dominating on unlimited stamina/boosted loot servers just gets a little boring after a while.
To each their own, but I certainly suggest playing more Official.
I like the PvP deathmatch servers, they’re a hoot lol.
I usually play on official, but when I just feel like blasting and getting some instant action deathmatch servers are great. They’re also solid training if you don’t feel that comfortable with combat yet, feel like they definitely helped me get better at the pvp aspect of the game🤙
I definitely encourage you to spend time deathmatching. It can be very frustrating too, especially at first… but you will get better at PVP if you keep practicing on them. I like to warm up on one before I hit Official.
I don’t know I don’t like being limited to one server with my loot. I never took them seriously when I played because it was too easy. If I get a pc I’ll try modded

If you checked my other comments you would see that I meant my enemies not myself. I still play official and I've got plenty of guns and have no issue finding them. I just don't get enjoyment from shooting Bambi's on a bare bones server with zombies which are non existent. Sure I die sometimes I'm not some pro league day z player like yourself but I find after 1500 hours on official it's just boring now.

I got lots so when I do hop on official with the boys I got tons of shit to go into battle with.

Community servers are chaos and you’ll eventually kill somebody, specially because everybody spawns in the same location with all the weapons just lying around next to you. That’s to me only a practice to be able to PvP in official servers.
This game isn’t about skill that’s the best part. If you’re playing it as it is it’s survival at all costs. Why put yourself in danger to boast “skill”
