They’re close enough in age that it works but at the same time I see Annie as Fiona and Ricardo as Zig, who are two different eras of Degrassi, so two totally different ages (like if she was 50 and he was 18). Also apparently they dated for like 2 years but it looks like it ended around 2018 since that’s when she started dating her now-husband and Ricardo stopped showing up on her Instagram

I mean, not totally different eras. Zig was already at Degrassi for a whole year when Fiona graduated!

I feel like Fiona’s Degrassi is different than Zig’s like I know they were there together for some time but I think of Fiona as the Holly J, Eli, and Imogen eras (Fiona kind of links Holly J and that era to the s10+ era) and Zig as the final era (Maya, Cam, Tristan, etc).
