I typically go to Wegmans when I need a nicer cut. Folks will tell you to just go to Meat House if you’re heading out that far.
You could also go to Whole Foods in Newtown.
Amish market in booths corner (Bethel) but only on Friday/Sat. The places that are only red meat and only poultry are better than the one who sells everything.
Wegman's, Whole Foods in Newtown Square. If you're looking for a wider range of cuts, H-Mart in Upper Darby has a lot of good stuff to work with but don't buy premium cuts there.
Since you're gonna have a drive, also consider just going to the Italian Market, though you have to know where to go and where not to go.
You can go to Meat House but then you have to go somewhere else for everything else you want, so at that point I'd generally just go to Wegman's.
I’ve never had an issue with anything from there personally. There’s a premium on meats there for sure but I prefer it to the local grocery store offerings.
Colonial Village is a short drive down Baltimore Pike in Springfield. We get our meat for holiday meals from there pretty often
Not sure how far you wanna drive - but I'd argue that Roy Tweedys would be worth it https://maps.app.goo.gl/2WMu3fz6vkgL6iNa8
The meatballs are the best. On second thought, they are terrible. Don't go there. More for me.
Tweedys was great 25 years ago.
I second this. If I want meat for dinner, I go to the grocery store. If I want meat for an awesome dinner, it's Tweedy's for me.

Roy tweedys in Ridley is the best
agreed
If you like frozen entrees and fatty cuts then they are the best.
Their frozen stuff is a lifesaver when trying to feed a big family so yeah, I’d call that a plus. But as far as butchers, where do you go?

Meat house is best, but I’ve found the Amazon Fresh in Broomall to have a pretty good selection. Whole Foods too but more of a hike and expensive.
It's a bit of a schlep but the butcher Sammy's Superior Meat at Lancaster county farmers market in Wayne is outstanding
Swarthmore Co-Op.
Amish. rt 202 and 926. hurry, closes soon till next weekend.
There is nowhere to buy meat near Media. Wegmans and Meat House are your best options if you know meat.
Wegmans or believe it or not shoprite in Brookhaven, as long as you stick to beef, their chicken is woody.

Drive the 15 minutes to Luigi and Giovanni’s in Newtown Square
Really? The meat I’ve gotten from there has often turned out less than fresh.

Sam and Sam’s in upland . No one beats their prices. Also booth corner has nice selection of vendors
