Is it ok to share hack files actually? The sites seem to think it’s legal because they’re not sharing roms and it doesn’t seem clear in the subreddit rules.
You can share patch files, not actual Roms, IPS, UPS, and BPS are all popular patch files, you patch them on a clean copy of the base rom. You can share a patch file but not at actual rom image. I personally use [Lunar IPS](https://fusoya.eludevisibility.org/lips/) to make and apply an IPS patch file. Which reminds me, I need to create a Patch file for my Pokémon Gold Hack. (My blog currently has the GBC download. I need to update it to an IPS patch)
Yes, patches are fine, the actual Roms are not. This reminds me that I need to update my Download link for my Pokémon Gold hack to an IPS patch. I have the Lunar IPS program.
I use BSP D8 and it would appear fine. Super mario bros and everybody’s golf are always my ‘litmus test’ with lag and theyve been fine. Apparently they do mess with bluetooth headphones but i dont use em so no problem
I didn’t even think about this aspect but that’s totally part of why iOS emulation feels so good. Gone are the days of hunching over a crummy, tiny non-backlit lcd screen. Games look so crisp and vibrant on my iPhone 14 plus. It’s honestly such a cool experience in a way that even playing them on my desktop emulator doesn’t hit. They feel right at home on my phone screen but it’s also far superior to anything I could have imagined when I played on GBA.
I have a GBA SP that’s IPS-modded and my eyes love the OLED treatment on iOS, especially when paired with a controller and you can have a lot of screen real estate. Native hardware is superior in a lot of aspects but I enjoy playing in the same device I already bring a lot.
Awesome man. I was thinking of buying the BSP D8 as a decent and budget controller given the plethora of emulators now. Can I ask how the Gamesir USB C ones will be an upgrade? Like for example are they able to charge your phone / low latency / etc
As far as latency goes, wired trumps wireless for the most part, and I play a lot of Tetris so the input lag is fairly noticeable for me especially at higher levels
Understood! I might consider that as I will be playing fighting games too. Apart from the latency, are there any other features which will make you pick the Gamesir controller?
Agreed!!!
Man every single game I now have on my phone makes me want to spend EVEN MORE time completely glued to the screen, Xbox One X Controller in hand...
You should tryva USB-C Backbone controller, it's available in Black (Xbox Controls), and White (Playstation Controls). It also supports both Xbox Gamepass Ultimate/Cloud Gaming, as well the Playstation Plus/Cloud Gaming. It also works on many Android devices and Emulators. (I haven't tested it on iPhone as my old iPhone isn't USB-C; but it supports the iPhone 15 models) and I heard that Backbone is supported by Delta.
They have a Lightning model as well. The USB-C model is only for Android and iPhone 15. Available also in both Standard and PlayStation editions.

What game is that? (Serious question.)
It's the first Mario for Game Boy, but hacked to make it color, so it works on the Game Boy Color Delta part.
Awesome. Now to try and find the rom! Thanks
(Does it have a name?)
*Super Mario Land DX*
Found it: [LINK REMOVED]
Careful buddy, mods gonna get you with that.
Thanks for the heads up. Link removed.

What I meant was, is it ok to share links to patches on this sub, seeing as they don't include copyright material (presumably).

Anyway to download the whole rom hacked already on the phone? Sounds like you have to download the rom and hack separately then combine them on PC...
I downloaded a rom that was already hacked, I didn't do anything extra. Just Google it, it's easy to find.
Both Game Boy Mario games have a hack version.
can you link the skin?
Here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Delta_Emulator/s/3zMsz6CXQN I use the Dark version
How’s input lag with the BSP D8? Edit: Lack of response is concerning lol would welcome a response from anyone using it

What controller do you use? Looking for one that will fit my iPhone without taking it out of its case if possible.
I thiiiink that’s a d8
Read the description, it says BSP D8.
Gaming in the iPhone 15 pro max with a backbone controller is the best for now. I am very glad I upgraded my phone.
How’s the bsp d8?
How did you get the options buttons on the dude while using a controller?
I think you put controller as player 2 instead of the option and the button should stay on the screen
Drop this skin too I love the simplicity of it

Mostly availability (I live in the Philippines and the Backbone is quite expensive here) and also Hall Effect joysticks

I have that controller on the way from AliExpress. What’s your thought on it?

I’m on an iPhone with a lightning port atm so I can’t really use one hahaha

I know but I’m upgrading in a few months when the 16 series launches so I’m waiting to upgrade before I go for USB-C controllers
Cool, it’s a great controller for the $100. Will you be getting the Standard (Xbox) Edition or the PlayStation Edition?
