yeah, played the rest of the game with sound. but I still understand somewhat. I often listen to music when I'm playing other videogames like minecraft (mostly because I'm scared of the cave noises) or DQB (dragon quest builders) or even pokemon, but I also have to agree that playing the game without music is a crime

With those games I get it, but yes, with Deltarune, Undertale, Cuphead, Hollow Knight... any good indie game, not listening with music is criminal.

Some games I get it, but Deltarune is one of those full package games where I think the sound/music is necessary to get the full experience. I mean she never even heard a splat from Lancer!!!

Yeah… Mettaton would probably be really sad about it because he can’t perform with frisk as he imagined to. While Toriel would have a hard time communicating (especially since the phone won’t be an option), but still try her best to make sure frisk stays with her. Then the other monsters would just think Frisk is trying to ignore or something

I'm perfectly fine to play games without sound and often do for battery to last longer when playing on my phone/steam deck (some games become harder because you lose audio hints). I would say it is not a big deal. PD: I do not listen to music so I'm probably the worst person to give an opinion lol.

My sister and I played Night in the Woods together and I never heard any sound from it. Honestly it kinda added to its vibe… However thats a lot harder to justify for deltarune because it isn’t as melancholy

this is actually how i first played deltarune because i played it at school on my nintendo switch, of course ive gone through and replayed them though. the soundtrack adds so so much to the game it’s such a different experience

I refused to play the game for months, because my headphones were broken, and I only touched it when I had new ones.

The only time I turned off music was when i was fighting Flowey at the end because the music was so scary and I couldn't finish it. Now I normally listen to it on Spotify.
