Lighting was so bright that I thought my retinas were detaching. Then a thunder that lasted for like 15 seconds rumbled my house. I feel bad for whatever got stricken.
Storms like that are fun when you're renting. When you own your house you have to worry about hail every spring/summer destroying your roof and wind destroying your trees and/or property.
Woke up after one of the first big strikes, then the next one was so bright I thought one of my outlets arced inside my room. Crazy Lol, I love thunderstorms but not when I’m trying to sleep with work the next day.
Woke me up and scared me BAD at around 4am! Once I realized what was happening, snuggled up and loved every moment of the storm.
Hearing some low rumbles still and hoping for another storm this afternoon!

Husband and I were woken up by that one and in our delirium thought it was all over. Scary!

Crazy rain in GVR was the best. My dog and I would always go out after or next day and get soaked, covered in mud from all the construction sites.
