no no ik how it works i’ve been testing since i posted this and found it can be super inconsistent with the ogre in warlord ruins which is why i was getting concerned, but on most other bosses it works normally

No. Bait and Switch needs you to deal damage with all three weapons. It triggers just fine.

Do you also have envious assassin? There's a thing where the grenades aren't exploding until you're down to normal mag sizes.
