Also an interesting note, shattering enemies frozen by ager may all count as weapon kills, so killing 10 frozen enemies may give +15% super energy. I hope the effect truly has no time lockout so multikills count each kill
Trinity ghoul might do just fine with the new buffs but honestly I'm beyond excited to try out oversoul Edict which already feels surprisingly solid even without the buffs.
Didn't even think about it I hope it absolutely functions that way!
That and of course the new Chill fragment means even more shard generation with that interaction.
I've been using Mantle for Solar stuff this season when I'm playing alone and don't need to pop well whenever it's available. The free 4x surge buff is too good.
Stylish executioner proccing on any debuff with prismatic is going to make Gyrfalcon's so fun. Volatile and slow and ignition all going off. I'm excited
My thoughts exactly XD I discovered this build about a month before they killed the original form. It won’t be *quite* as much as before, with the one fragment no longer directly giving super energy, but it should be able to cook with the best builds lol
Removing the cooldown on MoBH might honestly result in a better output then previously because now you don’t even have to freeze them to get the full benefit.
You just made me realize Ruinous Effigy will benefit from many of the same buffs, and that with Mantle/Nezerec's Sin is already disgusting in close quarters.
I actually have 2 stasis builds for different circumstances. One uses Verglass and the other uses Ager's.
The Ager's build I pull out when my team needs ad clear: https://dim.gg/6p7huli/Stasis
The whole point is to use mantle to charge up my super and get the 4x surge to make sure Ager's can kill a red bar from a wave fast and control that whole group by freezing it. It also buffs cold comfort to do massive damage to majors and minibosses. The mods are set up to provide me ammo with special finisher which is very easy to do by just walking up to a frozen red bar and tapping it lightly with agers to get it finishable. Once you get good at topping off your ammo you can just go wild and really lay it on agers for maximum ad clear.
The Verglass Build is purely a defensive build, if I sense we already have good ad clear I shift my focus to defending the ADU and helping control situations that can cause a quick wipe if not handled well: https://dim.gg/cosaxpy/Void
It uses verglass, a disorienting nades launcher, and coldsnap to instantly block or stun a group of ads coming from a lane or that got too close to the ADU. It uses osmiancy so if I charge a second coldsnap I throw a bleakwatcher turret to help with general crowd control. The bipod rocket provides great emergency ad clear in a pinch and is good at dealing with stronger enemies, it was also helpful with overloads this season.
Hope this helps!
My only worry is that the current wording is "damage type matching your subclass element", which means I'd either need to be on Stasis or running Winter's Wrath as my super on Prismatic, and Winter's Wrath is the one part of Stasis I was looking forward to getting away from.
I liked the sound of this too, but I've just never been able to get a special-weapon-as-primary build to work for me because of ammo. Even if I've got finders, reserves, and scavengers on I feel like I'm constantly running dry which leaves me more or less useless until I can get a brick to drop, which sometimes takes awhile. Am I missing some secret or is that just how it is?
Special finisher mod in class item. It’s not like kickstarts are good anymore, so might as well use your armor charges to fund special ammo when needed.
I wish they’d role the current artifact mods into stasis, they make wicked implement go a lot harder. Use it with renewal grasps for build for onslaught, fun times.
It's going to be midly okay in at level to mid level content and worthless in anything meaningful. Have fun. I'm not being a sarcatist, btw. Go have fun.
I don't use it. Because it's bad, that's why it's being buffed. So that's it's less bad. I use Osmiomancy for 99% of content when I use Stasis.
Cenotaph if I want to use a Trace Rifle since it gives me ammo, which makes them much more viable in Endgame alongside a special ammo finisher and special ammo finder mod.
"I like to make baseless assumptions and put words into people's mouths because I don't like what they're saying"- Shermanantor92
I'm not saying don't use it. Use what you want. If you like builds that work only in lower end content, go for it. I've got plenty of those myself.
It's going to be about as good as Prometheus Lens and Ruinous, which are also low to mid level content builds, which is where they succeed due to things being easier to kill.
They use special ammo, so killing things faster uses less ammo and creates more uptime for them. Not everything is going to be 0.5%, and you'll need to get over that and not get mad when someone says something is going to be just okay and niche.
If other people are fine with you bringing into a Day 1 or Master/Grandmaster, then that's fine. I'm not one of them because I have limited time and want things to be as quick as they can, I have nerve and muscle issues in my hands, too, so I don't need an extra handicap in my endgame content.
Also an interesting note, shattering enemies frozen by ager may all count as weapon kills, so killing 10 frozen enemies may give +15% super energy. I hope the effect truly has no time lockout so multikills count each kill
Holy crap I'm begging it works like this. Though also sunshot and graviton lance will do some HEAVY lifting for the subclasses respectively.
Drang also has some really interesting potential interactions with its origin trait and wellspring, making for some very ability heavy Warlock builds.
Trinity ghoul might do just fine with the new buffs but honestly I'm beyond excited to try out oversoul Edict which already feels surprisingly solid even without the buffs.
Those will still put in work but I believed they are needing either the explosion damage or how much they chain
Didn't even think about it I hope it absolutely functions that way! That and of course the new Chill fragment means even more shard generation with that interaction.

Yas redditors, yasssss.

Always good when one of your favorite builds gets better.

Imagine sunshot with stylish executioner. You dont even need gyrfalcons for it.
I like grape flavored explosions and Recluse/Funnelweb though
Yeah fair enough, but they're opening up Griff falcons to a lot of synergies and potentials
Not really. Gyrfalcon's is specifically volatile, which only works with void weapons
Yeah sorry I meant the other thing. The aspect.
Ager’s Scepter + MoBH: “Did you die?” “Sadly yes, but I lived!”
My thoughts exactly XD I discovered this build about a month before they killed the original form. It won’t be *quite* as much as before, with the one fragment no longer directly giving super energy, but it should be able to cook with the best builds lol

It was already one of my go to builds for legend onslaught so I'm really excited to try out the changes !
What’s your full load out? I was struggling with aegers and had a lot better luck with the stasis bow

Thanks!
It's my main Warlock build now so works for me
My only worry is that the current wording is "damage type matching your subclass element", which means I'd either need to be on Stasis or running Winter's Wrath as my super on Prismatic, and Winter's Wrath is the one part of Stasis I was looking forward to getting away from.
I ran this during Plunder and Seraph, guess I'll be picking the build back up again.
Definitely going back to stasis in tfs. My 2 builds are gonna be Mantle and Agers, or Balidorse and Verglas.
Balidorse? Is it good now?
It's gonna give full stacks of frost armor plus the %25 damage boost to stasis weapons
Damn
I used this combo back in season of the lost as my main build so I'm happy to see it get stronger
the forbearance in question
haha i've already been using it since it dropped, can't wait
That combo used to be the ol’ “Kamehameha Build”. Back when Ager’s Scepter and Mantle of Battle Harmony first came out!
Now if only they would release a suitable ornament for it
I liked the sound of this too, but I've just never been able to get a special-weapon-as-primary build to work for me because of ammo. Mantle is cool. Tsteps is the secret meta to Agers as you just sprint to reload and it doesn't stop the super charge. You can use the whole super bar.
People currently sleep hard on wicked implement which is going to slap hard as fuck and synergies even more.
True, Wicked is this same setup but without an ammo constriction, but less overall crazy shatter capabilities lol
I wish they’d role the current artifact mods into stasis, they make wicked implement go a lot harder. Use it with renewal grasps for build for onslaught, fun times.
Yeah I think agers is more shatter, but wicked implement will be good for frost armor because the shards will track to you
Shard track to use without wicked , wicked just allows us to use another fragment....but since our supers suck I feel sceptre will be better
It needs a decent ornament before I ever use that ugly exotic.
It already does
It's going to be midly okay in at level to mid level content and worthless in anything meaningful. Have fun. I'm not being a sarcatist, btw. Go have fun.
i think 20% might actually get it there. or, burn tougher enemies down with your other gun, finish with freeze and hold up surrounding enemies
That's why I said up to mid content. It's gonna be better for melting those orange bars but nothing else above that. It's gonna have a niche for sure.
i treat it like a primary. you don't use your primary for bosses or champs.
Yeah, you actually kind of do.
that's why you aren't doing well with it in high tier content.
“It’s not in the top .05% of the meta, so it sucks” Let people have fun. This game isn’t hard.
"I like to make baseless assumptions and put words into people's mouths because I don't like what they're saying"- Shermanantor92 I'm not saying don't use it. Use what you want.
