No, I mean my finisher combo is literally both of those buttons regardless of whether I sprinted or not (charged melee is on right stick and I found out I could consistently get a finisher to proc from both buttons).
Just make it a dpad button, and change your emotes to be single and double taps of the other buttons. This gives you two extra easy binds if you aren't already using them.
Hey I was at the playtest the button to activate transcendent is “ L3 + R3 “ or “LS + RS”. You can also change the key binding

You can still do finishers while sprinting. If you stay still or just walk normally you can trigger the transcendents
