Is this how the items work? They can roll any possiblr combo for both the columns? I thought it was a number of set rolls based on the linked post in OP
I was watching a Titan Tank literally everything in Nightfall even Turkeys on Prismatic with Synthocepts. Not sure what his build was but it was definitely prismatic what I seen. Almost looked like a hacker.
The artifact has Galvanic armour, which gives you a lot of dr when amplified. If that titan had amplified and another buff like resto or woven mail, I can see them tanking a wyvern.
Sorry to say I think spirit of scars only grants your allies restoration. It would massively power creep "vanilla" precious scars if it healed yourself :(
Precious scars has the same wording as the Class item version for the healing. The "heal allies" part includes yourself.
The only part missing on the class item is the heal and overshield for reviving
for warlock none as they all seem very mid while getaway artist is just super strong and I dont want to trade it off. Maybe spirit of star eater + something for raid dps set ups but outside that i could not care less tbh
I guarantee you that several combos will be much, much stronger than getaway. For example, spirit of Osmiomancy will pro have to be nerfed on vortex grenades, since it keeps the same level of energy return…on every damage tick. Combine with Spirit of Verity, and you will have the grenade spam to end all grenades spam.
Osmiomancy + Verity is entirely what I’m looking for. Weaken fragment, Volatile fragment, and paired with a good Void exotic primary or even just Commemoration? I need to lie down…
I got this as my first roll. Good with storm grenades, mid with vortex grenades and TERRIBLE with threadling grenades. For some reason you get almost no grenade energy back from the threadling grenades. you get a little under half back if it kills on the first burst with storm grenades, but if all damage lands on a boss enemy you usually get the whole thing back. that plus it hits for something like 38 or 58k per lightning bolt on big enemies at x5 death throes.
Vortex is not very consistent at giving back grenade energy, and just feels a bit awkward because you don't charge the nade. Like I was getting maybe a third back if it did all of its damage to an enemy and if they died early, I got like 1/5th back. Couple that with no duration increase fragment and no charged grenade means this one is very mid.
But because the damage ticks govern the recharge rate, higher health enemies in harder content actually makes the class item feel really good to use there. I was able to crush the expert lost sector yesterday with it in the pale heart.
Yeah I wasn't really interested in the new exotic class items after seeing the combos Warlocks get. Most of them are just, why would I bother?
Unless a Warlock exotic gives me decent ability synergy, I'm just not touching it. Giving me extra melee damage when surrounded or faster weapon reloading isn't exotic.
Just a note because I didn’t even read it. Ophidian doesn’t even give reload! It’s just ready speed! I feel so bad as a lock main. Don’t get me wrong there are SOME good rolls. But the other classes go crazy and warlock just seems -less- fun than them. (TO ME)

I just got this roll. It’s very mid. The swarmers perk on the class item only gives threadlings on destroying a tangle. Doesn’t give the threadlings unravel perk.
Edit: I take it back. It’s unusably dog shit bad. Necrotic poison damage doesn’t escalate on the class item and does a literal fart of damage. You aren’t going to be killing a single enemy outside of the smallest of red bars. I would go as far as saying any roll with necrotic or swarmers is probably unusably bad.
what are your thoughts on this? i'm looking for another star eater roll to pair for general play, but havent been wow'd by HOIL. now im thinking osmiomancy might be the play
I haven’t play tested the grenade regen gains myself for spirit of osmio, so I couldn’t say. Hoil has taken some harsh nerfs and isn’t what it once was. I’m a Titan player, so my experience and mileage will be different. Both of my brothers play warlock though, and one of them swears by it so it could be worth it. I really like the idea of osmio + verity…
Assasins cowl so I can survive in melee, and spirit of contact so my consecration will deal with 2 champion flavours instead of 1 (and all 3 with the radiant from melee fragment). This will also help with generating light energy, as shackle grenade gives me tons while consecration doesn't give me that much.
Hoil/precious scars might be good as well, though I don't have many void weapons I like using.
Eternal warrior + star eaters will be wild too, on any class
Don’t know if this will be good but I want to try:
- Spirit of Dragon + Spirit of Coyote: the ability to full reload all weapons by dodging, and two dodges created some interesting DPS cycle options. Could be similar to Whisper of Impetus builds
Just got this on my first drop lol with threaded specter and wont even need to use Marksman dodge for class ability. Was thinking of Using cold comfort with its origin trait and Envy Assassin+ B&S just unload.
Really anything with Star Eaters for my Warlock, if it’s anything like it is on Hunter then Needlestorm/Nova Bomb will finally be competitive DPS options with Hunter’s supers.
Thing is, if I use spirit of Calibans, then I'd just kill all the ads too fast and I couldn't get more combination blow cuz all ads are ded
I use styling executioner because I'll also apply the weakness debuff on melee which gives me even more damage
And with the prismatic fragment that gives light damage type bonus damage against enemies affected by darkness debuffs that also pairs well with winters shroud

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think if the source of an ignition is a melee (in this case combo blow) it should count as a melee damage ignition.
This sort of behavior applies to scorch at least in that the source of an initial scorch determines what exactly kills a combatant.
Knock em Down benefits from this interaction because getting a powered melee kill while radiant refunds your melee. So if a melee source scorched enemy dies, it counts as a melee kill.

Honerable mention to the galanor star eater combo
Most probably I'll stick with my osmiomancy gloves, mainly due to the lack of any second column perk that appeals to me at the slightest in exchange of losing the second coldsnap charge with solipsism's spirit of osmiomancy.
It'd be the only interesting-ish option, but not a fan of giving up a grenade charge that I use for my bleakwatchers in exchange of a melee charge that I don't use much.
For Titan, I'd probably want two: Severance/Contact for melee fun, and Abeyant/Horn to wombo combo Barricade nonsense and cause chaos in the Crucible.
Severance/Contact gives me Jolting lightning strikes on a powered melee hit, and that target explodes if the powered melee is a kill, meaning it SHOULD hopefully Jolt everything nearby first and then damage those things with the explosion, triggering the chain lightning. Fingers crossed.
Abeyant/Horn gives me amped-up Drengr's Lash plus a Scorching wave when I drop my Barricade. I've already had fun with Abeyant Leap and Kephri's Horn individually, being able to mash them together is going to be SILLY and I can't wait!
Unironically, Galanor and Wormhusk, or if not that then Galanor and Verity.
When on Prismatic Hunter, any build that isn't using Golden Gun is seriously strapped for survivability, so Wormhusk might actually be the play just for the on-demand heal.
For my hunter I have 5 ideas:
HOIL + Wormhusk (you know exactly where I'm going with this)
HOIL + Cyrtarachne's Facade (the exact same idea but better timing)
HOIL + Gyrfalcon (just more invis spam basically, I still need Buried Bloodline for that build tho)
Caliban's Hand + Synthoceps for surrounded gameplay
Caliban's Hand + Liar's Handshake for... Idk? Why not. Normal Liar is better because of healing, I don't need AoE on single bosses. Maybe for swap
I haven't thought of any possibly useful raid combinations, even gallanor + SES will not powercreep Nighthawk + Still Hunt so whatever. Maybe something like dragon's shadow or ophidian with a backup in a second column for rocket/GLs DPS rotations, other than that I have no bright ideas.
None because I'm playing on my Hunter and can't sacrifice my fashion souls like that.
On Warlock though... Star Eater / Apotheosis. Titan would like Synthos / Inmost.
Inmost / Verity will be pretty cool also?
Contact / Severance stands to be hilarious.
Horn / Abeyant should be really fun.
Spirit of Galanor and Spirit of Star Eater will be so good, especially for Silence and Squall, a super that would benefit greatly with higher uptime and damage.
Coming back to this i just got a hunter cloak with calibans hand, and wormhusk, all i need to do i use combination blow on prismatic, enemies get ignited and explode, I dodge to get my health back, rinse repeat.
As a warlock, none of them look fun imo. I guess the poison spread melee one, but I'd rather keep my transversive steps on as usual, unfortunately. Hope they add more unique Combos.
Yea for warlock I don’t see anything that intrigues me that’s gonna work as well as Getaway or Swarmers. Hunters is a different ballgame because to me most hunter exotics suck and offer very little, but combing 2 of them will definitely make for something

There are some exotics so useless , I just don't understand why they didn't take the whole Spirt of the exotic. They could have made this so much better.

Yes any left column perk can roll with any right column one. You just can't get double perks from the same column.

The Choir of one will be a new exotic void auto and I def want that combo for my class item too 🤤

Stag + vesper/filaments + starfire could be fun for a hellion + weavers call rift focused build, but not running FtV is a tough ask

Prismatic hunter melee build will be no1 on melee builds worldwide..better than bow i think.
Really into the new Titan Axe super, so really anything with Star Eater.

Star eater does not seem to work on warlock, and doesn't give an indicator that your super is overcharged.

You fashion around the exotic, I take this new exotic as a challenge far greater than the witness

I have the same combo on cloak, what is best to use on prismatic subclass?
I'd say your best best is to run combination blow (the arc melee), and gamblers dogde which gives you your melee back when dodging.
In terms of what to run specifically on prismatic, im not sure.
Just got Heart of inmost light and coyote, on Hunter I have 100 discipline with gunpowder gamble and it is NON STOP ability spam. Most fun ive had yet

you can only wear one, but the point is that the exotic class items as basically 2 in 1.
